How do I set up the printer for the first time?

Unbox the printer, remove all packing materials, install the toner cartridge and load paper. Connect the power cord and USB or Ethernet cable. Turn on the printer and follow on-screen setup instructions.

What type of toner or ink does the MW-10FT use?

The printer uses a standard toner cartridge (model TN-XXX) and drum unit. Refer to the manual for exact replacement part numbers.

How do I clear a paper jam?

Open the front cover and gently pull out any jammed paper from the rollers. Do not force the paper. Close the cover and press the resume button.

Why is the printer not printing?

Check that the printer is powered on, connected to your computer, and has paper and toner. Ensure no error lights are on. Restart both printer and computer.

How do I connect the printer to a wireless network?

This model may not have built-in Wi-Fi. If it does, press the Wi-Fi button, select your network from the list, and enter the password using the control panel.

Can I print on both sides of the paper?

If the printer supports duplex printing, you can enable it in the print settings. Check the manual to see if your model has automatic duplex.

How do I clean the printer?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to wipe the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals. Clean the inside only when necessary, following safety instructions.

The printer is showing a low toner message. What should I do?

Purchase a replacement toner cartridge (model TN-XXX). Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, shake the new one gently, and insert it. Reset the counter if needed.

Why are my prints streaky or faded?

Streaks may indicate low toner or a dirty drum. Try adjusting print quality settings or running a cleaning cycle. Replace toner if necessary.

Where can I download drivers for the MW-10FT?

Visit the Middle Atlantic support website or use the driver CD included. Drivers are compatible with Windows and macOS.

INSTALLATION

1) Install the grommet nut into the five (5) holes in the enclosure as shown.
2) Position the top as required. Thread all screws evenly then tighten the screws securely - DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

NOTE: For MW Series Top bonding, and bonding of the two space panel to the MW top, see page 2.

- The MW top can be bonded with the factory installed bonding stud. (FIGURE A)

- The two space panel can be bonded to the top using the two provided 6/32 X 5/16 star screws using a T-10 star wrench. (FIGURE B)

Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. (the "Company") warrants the MW Series Top to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of (3) three years from date of shipment by the company.

The Company's entire liability to the purchaser, and the purchaser's (or any other party's) sole and exclusive remedy, under this warranty shall be limited, at the Company's option, to either (a) return of and refund of the price paid for, or (b) repair or replacement at the Company's factory of the products purchased, or any part or parts thereof, which the Company has determined to be defective after inspection thereof at the Company's factory. This warranty does not cover damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence by parties other than the Company, or any modification or alteration of the products. In addition, this warranty does not cover damage due to improper handling, assembly, installation or maintenance.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
