Frequently Asked Questions - K60 TU KX A LA GERMANIA

How do I install the range hood?
Installation should be carried out by a qualified professional. Ensure the hood is mounted at least 65 cm above the cooking surface. Use the provided template to mark drilling points, then secure the hood to the wall. Connect the duct to an external outlet if recirculation is not used.
How often should I clean the grease filters?
Grease filters should be cleaned every 2-3 months, or more frequently with heavy use. They are dishwasher safe; place them in the dishwasher on a gentle cycle. Alternatively, soak in hot water with degreasing detergent.
Do I need a charcoal filter?
A charcoal filter is required if the hood is used in recirculation mode (no external duct). It should be replaced every 4-6 months or when it loses effectiveness. The filter is not included and must be purchased separately.
What is the maximum extraction capacity?
The maximum extraction capacity is 600 m³/h. This can be achieved using the intensive mode. Note that noise level also increases at higher speeds.
How do I change the LED lights?
The LED lights are integrated and should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Contact La Germania support for assistance.
Why is the hood noisy?
Noise may be due to a blocked filter, loose installation, or a defective motor. First check and clean the grease filters. Ensure all screws are tight. If noise persists, contact service.
Can I use the hood without a duct?
Yes, the hood can be used in recirculation mode. You will need to install a charcoal filter and ensure the outlet is directed into the room. Note that recirculation is less effective than ducting outdoors.
What should I do if the hood doesn't turn on?
Check the power connection. Ensure the mains plug is inserted and the circuit breaker is on. If the hood still does not work, contact La Germania customer service.
How do I reset the filter cleaning indicator?
After cleaning or replacing filters, press and hold the intensive mode button (or timer button, depending on model) for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off. Refer to the manual for exact procedure.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts including filters, bulbs, and motors are available through La Germania authorized service centers. Contact your local dealer or visit the official website.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AP- PLIANCES
LA GERMANIA K60 TU KX A - 1

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
