IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be taken, including the following:

DANGER — To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1) Do not use in bathtub or in a shower.
2) Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

1) This appliance is not for use by children or individuals with certain disabilities.
2) Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
3) Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for
examination and repair.
4) Never drop or insert any object into any of the openings.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of the Conair® Serene Sounds System. This system provides soothing sounds to relax you and to mask unwanted noise. The Conair® Serene Sounds System allows you to create a soothing environment at home, at the office or anywhere you would like to relax. Used as directed, the Conair® Serene Sounds System will provide you with dependable service and can be used anywhere as it is battery operated. The Conair® Serene Sounds System operates with three 1.5 volt AA batteries (not included).

TO INSERT BATTERIES
1) Unlatch and lift off the battery compartment door (located on the bottom of the
sound system).
2) Insert three AA 1.5 volt alkaline batteries, as shown inside the battery compartment.
3) Replace the battery compartment door and return the sound system to its
upright position.
NOTE
Use only alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Clean the battery contacts and those of the device prior to battery installation. Remove used batteries promptly. Remove batteries when storing the machine for an extended period of time.

HOW TO OPERATE THE CONAIR®
Serene Sounds SYSTEM
1) Insert three AA batteries (not included) as shown inside the battery compartment, on the bottom of the sound system. LED will light to show power ON.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will (at our option) repair or replace your appliance free of charge for 12 months from
the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center
nearest you, together with your sales slip and \$5.00 for postage and handling, California
residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for
shipping instructions. In the absence of a 12 months from the date of manufacture.
