  • Bruk aldri stältrådklips på papir- og plastposer. De kan gi gnistoverslag, bli varme og føre til antennelse. Erstatt dem med hyssing, plastklips e. lign.
  • Varm aldri popcorn i mikrobølgeovn medmindre det er popcorn beregnet for mikrobølgeovn.
  • Hvis maten begynner å smelle i ovnen, kan det være et tegn på at maten overopphetes.
  • Plastposer bør ikke benyttes medmindre de er beregnet på å tåle koketemperaturer, da de kan smelte när maten varmes opp.
