SAFETY CONDITIONS. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ON SAFETY OF USE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

  1. Before using the product please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.
  2. The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.

  3. The appliacable voltage is 230V, \~50Hz. For safety reasons it is not appropriate to connect multiple devices to one power outlet.

  4. Please be cautious when using around children. Do not let the children to play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device to use it without supervision.

  5. WARNING: This device may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the device, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are carried out under supervision.

  6. After you are finished using the product always remember to gently remove the plug from the power outlet holding the outlet with your hand. Never pull the power cable!!!

  18. Do not use the mop without placing the cleaning pad over the mop head. Do not use the mop when the water tank is empty.

  19. Be especially cautious when using the steam mop on the stairs.
  20. Store the device inside, in upright position and in a cool and dry place.
  21. When using the mop, make sure that the surface to be cleaned is well lit.
  22. Never pour any cleaning solutions into the water tank. They may damage the device.
  23. Never block the steam nozzles. Never use the mop on soft surfaces because the steam nozzles may get blocked. Always clean the steam nozzles by removing all the fuzz, hair etc.
  24. Use only the attached accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  25. Never direct the steam towards people or animals.
  26. Do not use the steam mop on unprotected wood surfaces. The hot steam may remove the wax when you use the mop on waxed surfaces. Never leave the mop running on wood surfaces for a long period of time.
  27. Be careful when using the mop on vinyl floors, linoleum or any temperature-sensitive surfaces. Always test the mop on a small floor area in an inconspicuous place. Before use, read the floor manufacturer's instructions for cleaning to make sure that the surface may be steam-cleaned.
  28. The steam mop may be used for disinfecting floors in the bathroom, kitchen, shower, etc. To disinfect the area, hold the running mop on the surface being cleaned for at least 8 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds.
  29. Leaving the steam mop running in the same spot without moving it for longer than recommended may result in accumulation of sediment. The sediment can be removed with a descaling solution or a few drops of vinegar.

ASSEMBLY

Verify that the steam mop is disconnected from the power source.

  1. Attach the mop head (1k) on the body (you will hear the lock click).

  2. Insert the handle (1a) in the body of the mop.

  3. Place the cleaning pad (5) on the mop head (1k).

If you use the steam mop on carpets or floor carpeting, place the mop head (1) with the pad (5) attached on the carpet glider (4).

FILLING THE WATER TANK

CAUTION: Verify that the steam mop is disconnected from the power source.

To fill the tank using the measuring cup:

a) Fill the measuring cup (3) with water.

b) Remove the rubber cap (1h) from the water tank (1i).

c) Tilt the steam mop at 45-degree angle. Fill the tank with water. Be careful not to go over the maximum level.
d) Place the cap over the tank inlet.

USING THE STEAM MOP

CAUTION: Never use the mop without placing the microfiber pad over the mop head.

  1. Verify that the steam control (1g) is set to zero. Connect the steam mop to the power source. Turn in on with the ON/OFF switch (1f); the LED control light (1f) will turn on. The mop will be ready to use in approximately 30 seconds. Set the steam control (1g) to the desired level to release the steam.
  2. Move the mop slowly over the surface to be cleaned. Vacuum or sweep the surface to be cleaned before using the steam mop.
  3. The mop will stop producing the steam after approximately 20 minutes. At this point, turn off the device and refill the water tank. Turn the device on again and go back to cleaning.
  4. When finished, disconnect the mop from the power source and carefully remove the microfiber pad.
    CAUTION! The microfiber pad may be hot.

USING THE STEAM MOP BODY

The body of the steam mop is ideal to be used as a portable cleaning device. It may be used to clean kitchen countertops, sinks, windows, mirrors, tiles, etc.

  1. To disconnect the mop head (1k), press the lock button (1j) and pull the head out.
  2. Unwind the power cord from the hook (1b). To disconnect the handle (1a), press the handle removal button (1e) and pull the handle.
  3. Select the desired attachment or the steam nozzle. Insert the selected attachment/head in the body of the mop.
  4. Verify that the steam control (1g) is set to zero. Connect the steam mop to the power source. Turn in on with the ON/OFF switch (1f); the LED control light (1f) will turn on. The mop will be ready to use in approximately 30 seconds. Set the steam control (1g) to the desired level to release the steam.

CLEANING

  1. Disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning.
  2. The microfiber pad can be laundered in a washing machine. The steam mop should be used only with accessories designed by the manufacturer – microfiber pads and filters are available from the dealer.
  3. Wipe the device using a cloth. Never immerse the steam mop in water.

  4. Descale the mop at least once in six months:

a) prepare the descaling solution (according to the relevant instructions for use) in the measuring cup;

b) carefully pour the solution into the water tank;

c) place the mop on a surface that does not absorb water, such as tray or plastic bowl;

d) connect the steam mop to the power source;

e) press the ON/OFF switch and wait until the entire solution flows through the mop;

CAUTION: the descaling solution is extremely corrosive. Use extreme caution when pouring it.

f) thoroughly rinse the measuring and the water tank, rinsing them at least three times with water;

g) fill the water tank and generate the steam as during normal use. Repeat 3 times.

CAUTION: Descale the steam mop every 3 months if you use it twice a week or more frequently. Otherwise, the device may become damaged and the defect will not be subject to the warranty. When the device no longer performs to your satisfaction, descale it.
