How do I install the Fakir Clero water heater?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician. The heater should be mounted vertically on a wall able to support its weight when filled with water. Ensure proper electrical connection (230 V ~ 50 Hz) and water supply (1/2" BSP). The unit must be connected to a suitable pressure relief valve.

What is the recommended temperature setting?

The thermostat is adjustable between 30°C and 75°C. For optimal energy efficiency and to prevent scalding, a setting of 55°C to 60°C is recommended.

How do I maintain the water heater?

Annual maintenance is recommended: drain the tank, inspect and replace the anode rod if necessary, and remove scale from the heating element. Check the pressure relief valve annually.

What should I do if the heater is not producing hot water?

First, check if the power supply is on and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the thermostat is set correctly but still no hot water, the heating element or thermostat may be faulty. Contact a qualified technician.

How do I drain the water heater?

Turn off the power and cold water supply. Attach a hose to the drain valve, open the valve and a hot water tap to allow air in, and drain the tank completely. Dispose of water safely.

What does the pressure relief valve do?

The valve releases excess pressure to prevent the tank from bursting. It should be operated manually at least once a year to ensure it is not blocked. If water does not flow from the valve when opened, replace it immediately.

Can I install the water heater outdoors?

No, the unit is designed for indoor installation only. Exposure to rain, frost, or direct sunlight can damage the device and void the warranty.

How long does it take to heat the water?

For a 30 L tank with a 1500 W element, heating from 15°C to 60°C takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

What spare parts are available for the Clero?

Why does the safety valve drip water?

The valve may drip during heating due to thermal expansion. If dripping continues after the water cools, the valve may be faulty or the water pressure is too high. Install an expansion vessel if needed. If the valve leaks constantly, replace it.

ASSEMBLYING INFORMATION

Machine should be connected to the inlet of fuse panel with 32 A automat as it is seen in the schema.

Appliance should be earthed.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

1- After fixing the equipment, the tempeture of the water could be adjusted by turning the key to 1,2 or 3 according to the season and need.
2- You could adjust the water tempature also by the tap.
3- In the case of connection of battery has made, you should close water inlet valve, fuse and the adjusting key after the operation finished.

IMPORTANT POINTS FOR MAINTENANCE

1- To make your equipment works longer and to avoid the calcification, the adjusting key should come to "0" point and the tap should be open till the water starts to come cold

2- The frosted equipment should not be used. Before using, the environment should be warmed and the adjusted key should be moved after the water has pour for 3 minutes. (The problems that rooted from the getting icy is not under the guarantee.
3- While equipment is on working, other equipment with high voltage should not use the same electrical line.
4- The cover of equipment should not be opened by people other than authorized technical service staff.
5- The company is not responsible from the defects that rooted from the operations of unauthorized people.
