Frequently Asked Questions - TS3632 SANYO

How do I clean the air filter on my Sanyo TS3632?
Turn off the unit and unplug it. Open the front panel, remove the filter, and vacuum or wash with lukewarm water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every 2 weeks.
Why is my air conditioner not cooling properly?
Check if the air filter is dirty, ensure the temperature setting is lower than room temp, and verify that doors/windows are closed. Also check if the outdoor unit is obstructed.
Can I install the Sanyo TS3632 myself?
No, professional installation is required due to refrigerant handling and electrical connections. Improper installation may void warranty and cause safety hazards.
What does error code E1 mean?
Error code E1 indicates a communication fault between indoor and outdoor units. Check wiring connections and reset the unit. If persistent, contact a technician.
How do I use the timer function?
Press the TIMER button on the remote. Use +/- to set the desired hour for ON or OFF. Confirm by pressing SET. The remote display will show the timer icon.
What is the recommended temperature setting for cooling?
For optimal comfort and energy savings, set the thermostat between 24-26°C (75-78°F). Avoid setting too low to prevent excessive power consumption.
How often should I service my air conditioner?
It is recommended to have a professional inspection every year before the cooling season. This includes checking refrigerant levels, cleaning coils, and verifying electrical components.
Can I use an extension cord with the TS3632?
No, do not use an extension cord or power strip. The unit requires a dedicated circuit. Plug directly into a properly grounded outlet.
Why is water leaking from the indoor unit?
This could be due to a clogged drain line or frozen evaporator coil. Turn off the unit, clean the drain pan, and ensure the filter is clean. If issue persists, call a technician.
How do I reset the remote control?
Remove the batteries from the remote, press and hold any button for 5 seconds to discharge, then reinsert new batteries. The remote should reset to default settings.

Air Intake and outlet side (Indoor Unit)

  1. For safety, be sure to turn the air conditioner off and also to disconnect the power before cleaning.
