Please read these operating instructions carefully before operating the device, in order to avoid damage resulting from improper use.
Safety Directions and Warnings
- Improper use or any uses other than that for which the device is intended may lead to damages. The Manufacturer cannot be held liable for any such uses whatsoever.
- Before connecting the device to the power supply facilities, please make sure that the device's connection values as specified correspond with the mains electrical facilities.
- The device must be positioned on a steady, firm and heat-resistant
surface, in dry surroundings.
- Before operating the device, and to avoid any damages during use, ensure that the electrical cable is not running over any sharp or pointed objects, nor lying in the vicinity of a heat source. Please also check that the cable cannot be tripped over by passers-by, and that it will not come into contact with the hot grill surface.
- Do not operate the device if it is standing directly in water or any other liquid substance, or placed in the immediate vicinity thereof. Prior to operation and before plugging the device into the power mains socket, make sure that there will be absolutely no risk of the device falling into water or other liquid substances or falling to the ground by any other means during use. In the event that any such occurrences cannot be avoided, unplug the device from the electric system mains immediately.
- Opening up of the device housing as well as all device repairs must be conducted by authorised servicing facilities only. Failure to observe this instruction will lead to device warranty invalidity.
- Regularly check the power supply cable, the adjustable thermostat and the mains plug for possible damage. In the event that any damage is found, the device must undergo corrective maintenance by qualified technicians or servicing facilities.
- Should an extension cable be required for the device, please be aware that said cable corresponds to the device's connection values. Failure to do so may lead to overheating or meltdown of the extension cable.
- Please be aware that the device is intended for the preparation of f only. Any other use will lead to device warranty invalidity as well as

exclusion of any liability by the Manufacturer for damages resulting from the improper or irregular use.
- Never leave the device unattended during use and keep out of the
reach of children.
- When the device is not in use, always unplug it and fully disconnect the
power supply.
• Always switch the device into the OFF position before disconnecting the power supply.
- Never carry or pull the device around by its electrical cable
- Please be aware that the device heat-up is very quick, but it will take
a while to cool down. Steam will be generated during use. Beware of fat
sprays and splashes. To avoid burn injuries, hold the device by its
handles only.
- Never use the device in the vicinity of heat sources or easily
inflammable objects.
- Before operating the device, dispose of all packing materials and clean
thoroughly as described below
Operation:
- The TEPPAN YAKI grill surface has a highly effective non-stick coating. Very little or no oil or fat is required for food preparation.
Caution: To avoid overheating, place the ingredients on the grill and
then turn the device on. Should the device overheat, the built-in safety
thermostat will trigger off, the safety pilot light will come on and the
device will power down. At this point, pull the power plug out, wait
seconds, and then plug the device in again to proceed to use the
device.
- If you do not intend to use the entire surface of the grill, place the
ingredients in the centre of the grill.
- Avoid using any sharp or pointed metal objects on the non-stick coated
surface.
- During use, the device can be adjusted up to 240°C using the rotary
regulator.
