Can the BDS 776W play 3D Blu-ray discs?

No, the BDS 776W does not have built-in Bluetooth. However, you can connect an iPod/iPhone via the optional Bridge IIIP dock or use a third-party Bluetooth adapter connected to an analog input.

How do I connect an iPod or iPhone?

You need the optional Harman Kardon The Bridge IIIP dock (sold separately). Connect the dock to the dedicated port on the receiver, then place your iPod/iPhone in the dock. The system will control and charge the device.

What type of speaker wire should I use?

The binding posts accept banana plugs or bare wire. For best performance, use 16 to 14 AWG speaker wire. The system includes heavy-duty gold-plated binding posts for secure connections.

How do I update the firmware?

Ensure the receiver is connected to your home network via Ethernet. Then go to the Setup Menu and select Firmware Update. The system will check for updates and guide you through the process.

What is the Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature?

ARC allows the TV to send audio back to the receiver through the same HDMI cable that carries video to the TV. This eliminates the need for a separate audio cable from the TV. Your TV must also support ARC.

How do I connect a game console?

Connect your game console to one of the HDMI inputs for best video and audio quality. Alternatively, use the component video input (for 480p/576p) and the corresponding analog audio inputs if HDMI is not available.

Is the subwoofer wireless?

No, the HKTS 210SUB subwoofer is wired. Connect it to the receiver using the included subwoofer cable to the subwoofer output. The subwoofer has a trigger input that automatically turns it on/off with the receiver.
