Functions
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any promotional materials and packaging materials before use.
Check that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. If necessary, wipe over the plates with a damp cloth.

NOTE
When using the grill for the first time you may notice a fine smoke haze. This is caused by the heating of some of the components. There is no need for concern.

WARNING
Before use, fully unwind the power cord from the cord storage facility.
HOW TO USE GRILL
- Insert the power plug into a 230/240V power outlet and turn the power on. The red POWER light will illuminate.
- Turn the temperature dial to LO, MED, HI, or SEAR. Allow the grill to preheat with the grill fully closed until the green READY light illuminates.
- While the grill is preheating, prepare and assemble ingredients to be cooked. Once the grill has preheated, open grill using the handle and place food towards the back of the bottom cooking plate.

NOTE
The grill can be used to cook foods, in the open or closed position.

NOTE
The storage clip should not be used to clamp down the top plate when food is in the grill.
- Use the height-adjustable control clip located on the right-hand side of the grill, to adjust the desired height of the top plate according to your cooking needs. To create grill marks, lower the top plate so that it makes direct contact with the food.
- When the food is cooked through, use the handle to open the grill. Remove food using a silicone, plastic, or wooden utensil. Never use metal tongs or a knife, as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating.

NOTE
Always allow the grill to preheat until the green READY light illuminates before cooking.

WARNING
Fully unwind the power cord from the cord storage facility before use.
USING THE HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE CONTROL CLIP
The height-adjustable control clip enhances the versatility of your grill, enabling it to accommodate various cooking needs. Whether you are searing meats and vegetables, grilling delicate ingredients like fish or toasting open sandwich melts, this feature comes in handy.
Located on the right-side of the grill, the height-adjustable control clip allows you to position the top plate at one of seven different height settings above the bottom plate. This flexibility allows you to toast a variety of bread sizes and thicknesses while also accommodating open sandwich melts.

The AdjustaGrill™ & Sear, features unique swing feet which are designed to enable the bottom plate to switch between angled and flat surface when cooking different types of food. For example, when cooking steaks, extending the swing feet creates a flat cooking surface that prevents the steaks from sliding off the cooking area while still maximizing the fat drained into the drip tray while cooking.

The grill includes a temperature control dial for versatile cooking. Use the LO setting for toasting sandwiches, and the SEAR setting for foods that require high heat for cooking e.g., steaks.

Care & Cleaning
Before cleaning, switch the power off at the power outlet, and then remove the power plug. Allow your grill to cool before cleaning. The grill is easier to clean when slightly warm. Always clean your grill after each use to prevent a build up of baked-on foods. Wipe cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove food residue. For baked-on food, squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the residue, then, clean with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad.
CLEANING THE DRIP TRAY
Remove and empty the drip tray after each use and wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
Alternatively, you can clean the drip tray by placing it on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

WARNING
Do not immerse any other part of the grill or the power cord in the dishwasher, water or any other liquid.
DURABLE NON-STICK COATING
Cooking on a non-stick surface minimises the need for oil, reduces the likelihood of food sticking to the surface and makes cleaning easier. Any discolouration that may occur will only detract from the appearance of the grill and will not affect the cooking performance. Do not use metal or other abrasive scourers when cleaning the non-stick coating. Wipe with a warm, soapy damp soft cloth. Remove stubborn residue with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad or nylon washing brush.

NOTE
The cooking plates are coated with a non-stick surface, do not use abrasives.

NOTE
Do not use oil cooking spray on non-stick coating as this may affect the performance of the non-stick cooking plates.
STORAGE
To store your grill:
- Switch off the grill and unplug power cord from the power outlet and allow to cool.
- Clean as per instructions given.
- Close the grill and slide the height-adjustable control clip towards the front handle to the LOCK position so that the top and bottom cooking plates are locked together.
- Click the removable drip tray into place.
- Wrap the power cord in the cord storage area below the grill.
- Store on a flat, dry level surface.

NOTE
The storage clip should not be used to clamp down the top plate when food is in the grill.
