Frequently Asked Questions - KAVACPOR9LT Kogan

How do I charge the vacuum cleaner?
Connect the USB-C cable to the vacuum and a USB-A power adapter (not provided). The indicator light will flash. Charge for 3.5 to 4.5 hours until the light turns solid blue. Disconnect immediately to preserve battery health.
How do I clean the filter?
Remove the filter assembly by turning it counterclockwise. Rinse the filter with clean water and let it air dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Do not use the vacuum without the filter.
Can I pick up liquids with this vacuum?
No. The manual warns not to suck up wet dust, sewage, or any liquids. Doing so may damage the motor and create a short circuit risk.
What should I do if suction power is reduced?
Check the dust cup: empty if full. Clean or replace the filter if blocked. Also ensure the air way is clear of obstructions.
How do I assemble the vacuum?
Attach the 2-in-1 brush directly to the vacuum body, or use the extension tubes and brush for floor cleaning. Push gently until components click into place.
How long does the battery last per charge?
Battery life depends on suction mode and usage. The manual does not specify a runtime, but normal discharge reduction occurs over time. Fully charge before first use.
Can I use the vacuum while it is charging?
No. The vacuum has a charging lock-out safety feature that prevents operation when connected to power. The indicator will flash but the vacuum will not start.
What materials should I avoid vacuuming?
Do not vacuum cement, plaster, calcimine, broken glass, needles, cigarettes, matches, wet dust, or sewage. These can block the motor or cause damage.
How do I turn the vacuum on and off?
Press the power button once for Normal mode (blue indicator). Press again for Turbo mode (stronger suction). Press a third time to turn off.
How should I store the vacuum when not in use?
Store in a cool, dry indoor place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 40°C). Keep the 2-in-1 brush stored in the vacuum body.
