Frequently Asked Questions - Axxis Satellite

How to install the Satellite Axxis toilet?
Installation should be carried out by a qualified plumber. Ensure the floor is level and the water supply is turned off. Secure the toilet to the floor using the provided fixing kit and connect the water inlet. Refer to the manual for detailed steps.
What is the recommended cleaning method?
Use a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemicals as they can damage the ceramic surface and seals.
How to replace the flush mechanism?
Turn off the water supply, remove the flush button, and unscrew the mechanism. Install the new flush mechanism (compatible with Satellite Axxis) and reassemble. Ensure all seals are tight to prevent leaks.
Why is my toilet running?
A running toilet is often due to a faulty flush valve or fill valve. Check the flapper for proper seal and adjust the float arm to the correct water level. Replace worn parts if necessary.
How to remove the seat for cleaning?
Lift the toilet seat and locate the hinge covers. Pry them off gently with a screwdriver, then unscrew the bolts (usually Phillips or flathead). Remove the seat and clean thoroughly, then reattach.
What is the minimum water pressure required?
The recommended water pressure is 0.5 to 5 bar (7 to 70 psi). Lower pressure may cause incomplete flushing; higher pressure may damage components. If unsure, install a pressure regulator.
Can I use bleach or harsh chemicals in the toilet?
No, avoid bleach, chlorine-based tablets, and harsh chemicals as they can damage the ceramic glaze, rubber seals, and internal components. Use only recommended toilet cleaners.
How to fix a leaking base?
A leaking base usually indicates a faulty wax ring or loose connection. Turn off water, disconnect the toilet, remove the old wax ring, replace with a new one, and re-tighten the bolts securely. If leak persists, check the supply line.
Is the seat soft-close?
The standard seat is not soft-close. However, you can replace it with a soft-close seat designed for Satellite Axxis toilets, available as an accessory.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts such as flush mechanisms, seats, and seals are available from authorized Satellite dealers or online spare parts retailers. Use the model number Axxis for reference.

INTRODUCTION

Instructions for the Axxis portable restroom

Satellite restrooms must be assembled according to approved assembly procedures. Avoid variations in assembly which could adversely affect product life.

The assembly procedures are written for assembly of single units. If assembling multiple units, considerable efficiency can be gained by working in assembly line fashion.

Tools Needed:

- Drill -#10 Drill Bit -Rivet Gun -Phillips Screw Driver or Driver bit -3/8" Nut Driver bit -1/8" Allen Wrench

HELPFUL HINTS

  • Have an apron with at least two large pockets that allow the parts to be remove easily.
  • Don't open up all your kit boxes. Open up only enough kit boxes to assemble the number of toilets you are currently working on. KEEP PARTS ORGANIZED.
  • Use toilet paper holders for parts bins on multiple unit assembly
  • The door latch can be put on at any time. It may be more efficient to have someone do this early on multiple unit assembly.
