USER MANUAL Safe Surround 95310 Summer Infant
To Attach Changing Pad to a Dresser or Changing Table

Position your new Changing Pad with the fastening strap to the back of the changing surface, ensuring it does not hang over any edge. (Notes: Changing surface must be at least 16 in x 32 in). With the Changing Pad in position, attach the fastening strap to the back of the table or dresser using the 12 in wood screw included. (See diagram 1.) (Note: Periodically check the fastening strap to ensure it remains tight and securely attached to the table or dresser).
To Use Changing Pad

When placing infant on the changing pad (on their back) bring the safety strap around from both sides of the pad to align over child's abdomen and buckle securely. (See diagram 3.)
To tighten the safety strap around your child, pull the loose end of the safety strap away from the buckle.

To remove the pad from the table or dresser, open the buckle and pull the fastening strap through to release the pad. When replacing the pad, thread the fastening strap through the buckle until the pad is back in the desired position and close the buckle ensuring it is tight. (See diagram 2.)

To release the safety strap, simply squeeze the buttons together on both sides of the buckle. (See diagram 4.) Never leave child unattended when using your Change Pad. Always keep one hand on the child to prevent falling.
To Disassemble Changing Pad for Washing

Remove the changing pad from the quick release buck if attached to a dresser.
To remove pad from frame:
Step 1: on one end of frame, push the four pins (2 on each side) in and remove the frame from the 4 metal rails.
Note: Should a pin be too difficult to depress with your finger; use a key, a pen, a small screwdriver or similar tool.
Note: Should a pin shift out of position, push or pull the pin with tool noted above to realign into hole.
Step 2: Slide pad off from metal rails.
Step 3: Before putting pad in washing machine, clip the restraints along the back of pad, and pull tight.

To Reassemble Changing Pad

To re-assemble once pad is washed and air dried, reverse steps.
Step 1: Unclip buckle.
Step 2: Slide changing pad onto frame.
Step 3: Reattach extra sturdy frame to 4 rails, ensuring the 4 pins click into place.
Make sure to put legs on both right and then left sides, lining the poles up.

Putting an optional change pad cover on the pad:
Step 1: Cover the changing pad with optional cover.
Step 2: Pull safety straps through the pre-cut holes in your changing pad cover.
Note: Make sure the changing pad cover does not cover the anti-slip feet, and sits in the ridge right above the feet.
