What voltage does the SALAV HS-100 require?
The SALAV HS-100 requires 120V/60Hz. Using incorrect voltage may cause damage and void warranty.
How do I fill the water tank?
Ensure the appliance is off and unplugged. Open the water tank cap and pour water using the measuring cup up to the max level (150ml). Do not overfill. Use distilled or filtered water.
What are the two modes and how do I select them?
The HS-100 has Steaming Mode and Ironing Mode. Use the steam/iron control switch: push to middle for ironing, push upwards for steaming. The indicator light will flash while heating.
How long does it take to heat up?
For ironing mode, it takes about 40 seconds. For steaming mode, steam appears after 10 seconds (if already warm) or 50 seconds from cold start.
Why is water dripping from the steam nozzle?
This is usually due to internal condensation. Continue using the steamer to evaporate the condensation until it stops.
How do I clean and maintain the steamer?
Unplug and let it cool completely. Empty the water tank by steaming until dry. Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
