Frequently Asked Questions - Madison 5064 So & Co

How do I set the time on my So & Co Madison 5064 watch?
To set the time, gently pull the crown out to the second position (fully extended). Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the time. Push the crown back in to secure. For watches with a screw-down crown, unscrew it first before pulling.
How do I change the date on the watch?
Pull the crown out to the first position (partially extended). Turn the crown clockwise to advance the date. Note: avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage to the date mechanism.
Is the Madison 5064 water resistant? Can I swim with it?
The watch has a water resistance rating of 3 ATM, meaning it can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water (e.g., washing hands). It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving.
What type of battery does the watch use and how long does it last?
The watch uses a SR626SW battery. Under normal use, the battery lasts approximately 2 years. Low battery may cause the second hand to move in two-second jumps.
How do I replace the battery?
Battery replacement should be done by a qualified watchmaker or jeweler to maintain water resistance and avoid damage. The back case must be opened carefully with appropriate tools.
How should I clean my So & Co watch?
Clean the watch case and crystal with a soft, lint-free cloth. For the band, use a slightly damp cloth for leather (avoid soaking) or a mild soap solution for metal bands. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
What should I avoid doing with my watch?
Avoid exposing the watch to strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, MRI machines), extreme temperatures, and shocks. Do not operate the crown when the watch is wet. Keep away from chemicals like perfumes and solvents.
How do I adjust the bracelet length?
If the metal bracelet is too long, refer to the adjustment pins on the links. Use a pin pusher to remove links. For leather straps, use the buckle holes. If unsure, consult a professional.
My watch is running fast or slow. What can I do?
Quartz watches are generally accurate. If it gains or loses significant time, the battery may be low or the movement may be affected by magnetism. Try demagnetizing with a demagnetizer or have it checked by a watchmaker.
Does the watch have a warranty?
So & Co watches typically come with a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty duration may vary by retailer. Keep your purchase receipt and contact the point of sale for warranty claims.
