Frequently Asked Questions - MC323 MAGNAVOX

Why can't I get any channels from the antenna?
Check that your TV is set to the correct input mode (ANT) and perform a channel scan. Remove any obstructions between the antenna and broadcast towers, reposition the antenna, and rescan.
Why am I experiencing poor reception?
Reposition the antenna to a higher location or near a window. Ensure there are no obstructions (walls, metal objects) between the antenna and signal source. Rescan channels after repositioning.
Why can't I get a specific channel that I know is available in my area?
Obstructions or distance from the broadcast tower may be the issue. Try moving the antenna to a different location, preferably higher up or near a window. Rescan for channels after each reposition.
How do I scan for channels on my TV?
Go to your TV's menu, select 'Channel Setup' or 'Tuner', choose 'Auto Scan' or 'Channel Scan' while the antenna is connected. Ensure the input source is set to 'Antenna' (not Cable).
Can I use this antenna outdoors?
The MC323 is designed for indoor use. Outdoor use may expose it to weather damage. For outdoor installations, consider a dedicated outdoor antenna.
What is the range of this antenna?
Range varies based on location and obstructions. Typically, indoor antennas receive signals within 30-60 miles of broadcast towers, but hills and buildings can reduce range.
Does the antenna require power?
No, this is a passive antenna. It does not need batteries or external power. Simply connect it to your TV's coaxial input.
How do I mount the antenna on a wall?
Use the included screws and screw sleeves. Drill pilot holes, insert sleeves, then attach the plastic stand to the wall. Secure the antenna to the stand.
How do I clean the antenna?
Unplug the antenna and wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents, as they may damage the electronics.
What should I do if my antenna stops working?
Check cable connections, try a different TV input, or test with another device. If the issue persists, contact Craig Electronics service at service@cnigelectronics.com or refer to the warranty for replacement.
