TIMESETTING

Locate the crown on your Stauer watch (part B) and please note the three crown positions (0-1-2).

SETTING THE DATE

  1. Pull the crown (part B) out to position “1” and turn the crown to set the desired date.

  2. Push the crown back to position "0".

NOTE: The date should not be adjusted between 9:00pm to 12:00am, otherwise the day may not change properly.

SETTING THE TIME

  1. Pull the crown (part B) out to position "2"

and turn the crown to set the desired time.

  1. Push the crown back to position "0".

USING THE CHRONOGRAPH

This chronograph measures and displays time in increments up to a maximum of 29 minutes 59 seconds and 59 1/10 seconds.

  1. To START the Chronograph press the Start/Stop button (part A).

  2. To STOP the Chronograph press the Start/Stop button (part A) again.

  3. To RESET (set to zero) the Chronograph press the Split/Reset button (part D).

CHRONOGRAPH RESET

This procedure should be performed when the chronograph second hand does not return to zero position after the chronograph has been reset and after the battery has been replaced.

  1. Pull the crown (part B) out to position 2.

  2. Press the Start/Stop button (part A) and the Split/Reset button (part D) simultaneously for at least two seconds to set the chronograph to the zero position.

  3. Press the Start/Stop button (part A) to set the chronograph hands incrementally or continuously hold down the button to advance the chronograph hands rapidly.

  4. Press the Split/Reset button (part D) to select which chronogrpah hand to reset.

  5. Once the chronograph has been set to zero position, return the crown to position "0".
