You should record both model and serial numbers and keep them in a safe place for future use. Keep this manual for further reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

This owner's manual contains IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. First and foremost, when using a 12 volt appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Use only for intended use as described in this manual. Do not use other than manufacturer's recommended attachments.

2. Do not operate with damaged cord. If appliance is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, exposed to weather; or dropped in water, return it to a service center for examination and repair. Do not disassemble the vacuum cleaner, it is not user serviceable.

3. Do not use a damaged cord. Replace immediately.

4. Do not use an Extension cord. Plug directly into the cigarette lighter.

5. Do not disconnect plug by pulling on cord. To disconnect from outlet grasp the plug not the cord.

6. Do not operate with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, and hair.

7. Do not put any objects into openings.

8. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and similar objects, away form any openings and moving parts.

9. Do not pick up cigarettes, hot ashes matches or similar materials.

10. Do not operate without the filter bag and dust cup in place.

11. Do not vacuum pets with this hand vac.

12. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. Do not allow to be used as a toy.

13. Keep the hand vac away from direct sunlight and heaters.

14. Store in a safe place.

15. Do not use to pick up any liquids.

16. Do not operate the hand vac when the vehicle's engine is running.

17. Some models include an adaptor that should be placed into the front of the unit before attaching accessories.

OPERATION

1. Remove the cigarette lighter from receptacle. Plug the power cord adaptor into the receptacle.
2. Push the power switch forward to operate. Unit will continue to run as long as the power switch is held forward.
3. To use with accessories firmly push accessory into the open end of dust cup.
4. To empty dust cup, press the release button and remove the dust cup by pulling it downward away from the unit (Fig. 1)
5. Empty the cup and brush off the filter. The filter may be removed, (Fig. 2) and washed in water. Replace dust filter only after it is completely dry. Replace dust cup. NEVER OPERATE WITH FILTER OR DUST CUP REMOVED.
6. The body may be cleaned with dampened cloth. Do not clean with solvents.
