Frequently Asked Questions - CD440B HAGER

What are the tripping times for the RCD?
According to the manual, the RCD trips under a current of 5*IΔn within the times specified in table 41.1 of DIN VDE 0100-410 (2018-10). For example, for 30 mA devices, typical tripping time is less than 40 ms.
How do I protect the installation from dust?
If the enclosure is not IP5x, ensure the installation is protected from dust during nearby work activities. Use enclosures with appropriate IP rating.
What standards does the CD440B comply with?

What is the meaning of '5*IΔn'?
It means the RCD is tested with a residual current equal to five times its rated residual operating current (IΔn) to verify tripping times.
What are the available accessories?
The manual mentions accessories such as CZ001, MZ203, MZ206, CZN005, and CZN006. These may include auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, etc.
What is the maximum rated current?
