How do I clean the Black & Decker SB33 blender?

Unplug the blender. Remove the jar and lid. Wash the jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm soapy water or place on the top rack of the dishwasher. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.

Can I crush ice with the SB33 blender?

Yes, the SB33 can crush ice using the pulse function. Add ice cubes, cover with a little water, and pulse until desired consistency.

Why is my blender not turning on?

Ensure the blender is plugged into a working outlet. Check that the jar is properly seated on the base and the lid is locked. The blender will not operate unless the lid is secured.

What is the maximum capacity for blending hot liquids?

Do not blend hot liquids above 140°F (60°C). Allow liquids to cool before blending. Never fill the jar more than halfway when blending hot ingredients.

How do I replace the blade assembly?

To replace the blade assembly, unscrew the bottom of the jar (turn counterclockwise). Remove the old blade assembly and gasket. Install the new blade assembly with the gasket and screw the bottom back on securely.

Can I use the blender to grind coffee beans or nuts?

The SB33 is not designed for dry grinding. It may damage the blades. For nuts, use small amounts with liquid. For coffee beans, consider a dedicated grinder.

What should I do if the lid leaks?

Check the lid gasket for cracks or misalignment. Ensure the lid is pressed down firmly and twisted to lock. If the gasket is damaged, replace it with a new one.

Is the blender jar microwave safe?

No, the glass jar is not microwave safe. Do not place the jar in a microwave oven.

How do I use the pulse function?

The pulse function gives short bursts of power for controlled chopping. Press and hold the pulse button for 1-2 seconds, then release. Repeat as needed.

What does the non-slip base do?

The non-slip base prevents the blender from moving on the counter during operation, providing stability and safety.

Whipping:

Chopping:

Storage :-

You can store your appliance and one of the blending sticks on the wall mounting bracket provided along with the appliance.

Warning!

Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. After operating the appliance continuously for 1 minute,, let it cool down for atleast 5 minutes before operating it.

Some Do's and Don't

1 - Do not touch moving parts

2 – Always allow motor to stop before approaching the blades or changing any accessory.

3 – Keep your fingers, long hair, loose clothes and supply cord away from moving parts

4 - Handle the blade with care as it is sharp

5 - Never pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket

6 - Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges

7 - Do not place the appliance on or near heat source or in a heated oven

8 – Do not use the appliance outdoors. Always protect the motor unit from water or excessive humidity

9 - Operate the appliance only with dry hands

10- If the power supply cord is damaged during use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply.

11- When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry place. Children should not have access to stored appliances.

12- Never immerse your plastic stem (SB33/34) in hot/boiling liquid.

Black & Decker provides a 2 Year Warranty for this product from the date of purchase against defects due to defective materials or workmanship. Motor/element burn-outs due to voltage fluctuations are not covered under warranty. If the product should become defective within the warranty period, Black & Decker will repair or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replace it free of charge.

The warranty provisions do not cover failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or non observation of local regulations on the part of the user. Equally, the warranty provisions do not apply where the appliance has been serviced by a person not authorized by Black & Decker or serviced with non-approved parts and this has contributed to the fault of the product. Superseeded models without a replacement equivalent will either berepaired or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replaced with another product of similar retail value.
