Wie baue ich die SilverDome Nxt Softbox zusammen?

Legen Sie die Softbox flach aus. Öffnen Sie die Klettverschlüsse an den Ecken und setzen Sie die vier Stäbe in die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher am Anschlussstück ein. Fixieren Sie die Stäbe mit den Klettlaschen. Schließen Sie die hinteren Klappen.

Welchen Adapter benötige ich für meinen Blitzkopf?

Der Anschluss ist blitzspezifisch. Photoflex bietet verschiedene Adapter an, z.B. AC-B222SM für Schuhmontage. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Adapter mit Ihrem Blitzkopf kompatibel ist.

Wie installiere ich den Innendiffusor?

Befestigen Sie die Metallclips an den Ecken des Innendiffusors an den weißen Nylonschlaufen im Inneren der Softbox. Der Diffusor sollte straff sitzen.

Wie wird der Frontdiffusor angebracht?

Der Frontdiffusor hat einen Klettrand. Richten Sie die lange Kante an der langen Kante der Softbox aus und drücken Sie ihn Stück für Stück fest.

Warum hat die Softbox Belüftungsklappen?

Die Klappen dienen zur Wärmeableitung. Öffnen Sie die obere und untere Klappe, um einen Luftstrom zu erzeugen und die Lebensdauer der Softbox zu verlängern.

Kann ich die Softbox mit einem Stativ verwenden?

Ja, der Blitzkopf wird auf ein Lichtstativ montiert. Die Softbox wird am Blitzkopf befestigt. Achten Sie auf die korrekte Ausrichtung und sichern Sie die Schwenkvorrichtung.

Wie reinige ich die SilverDome Nxt?

Verwenden Sie ein trockenes, fusselfreies Tuch. Bei hartnäckigen Flecken leicht anfeuchten. Keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

Ist die Softbox für Dauerlicht geeignet?

SilverDome

Before assembling your SilverDome softbox, make sure all components are present. You will need:

• SilverDome softbox
- Connector for your specific light (not included)
- Four rods
• Inner baffle (medium, large, and x-large only)
- Front diffuser

Assemble the Softbox to the Connector

1. Place softbox with all four rods into their sleeves on a flat, clean surface.
2. If closed, open all four Quick Release Corners (QRC).

Pull Velcro® tab open at each corner so that rods extend freely. (not available on Small SilverDome.)

1. Notice that the connector has nine receptacle holes, three of which are tapped. The SilverDome and other rectangular soft boxes use only four of these receptacle holes. (The remaining four holes are for use with the OctoDome, an eight rod soft box.)
2. Position connector at the center of the softbox. Insert the first rod into one of the rod receptacle holes)

NOTE: If you are planning on using the Shoe Mount hardware AC-B222SM with this assembly, make sure that one of the large tapped holes is centered between two inserted rods. The red arrows indicate the holes with 3/8" large tapped threads.

1. Insert the second rod into the hole diagonally opposite the first hole.
2. Insert the third and fourth rods.

7/8. Use one hand to pull QRC flap over rod tip while pushing the rod into place with your thumb
9. Secure flap to its Velcro ^® counterpart. Repeat this process for the remaining corners.
10. The rear flaps close by pulling flaps toward the connector and attaching with the Velcro ^® sewn onto each flap.

NOTE: For proper dome shape to be achieved all rods must be pushed in completely.

Connecting the SilverDome to a Light head

NOTE: If using the StarLite head, see assembly instructions on the StarLite page.

NOTE: In most cases, the softbox connector is designed to connect with your light head in the same manner as your light head's accessories.

11/12. Connect the light to the softbox connector.

1. Carefully lift the softbox and light assembly and position over the LiteStand. Line up the LiteStand's riser (stud) with the stand receptacle hole on the light head. Place the light head on the LiteStand. Tighten the set screws on your lights swivel to secure to the LiteStand and prevent unwanted tilt.
2. The inner baffle has elastic bands with metal clips at each of the four corners. The interior of the SilverDome softbox has four white nylon loops. Secure one metal clip to each of these loops.
3. Inner baffle correctly installed in place.
4. The face diffuser is rimmed with Velcro® that attaches to its counterpart lining the front of the SilverDome.
5. Find the long edge of the diffuser and line up with the long edge of the SilverDome front. Starting at one corner, press the face diffuser in place.
6. Work your way around the rim of the softbox until the diffuser is in place.
7. The SilverDome has heat vent flaps on all four sides. For proper ventilation and to prolong the life of your Silver Dome, it is recommended that you open up the top (facing ceiling) vent and bottom (facing floor). This will create a convection flow of air through the softbox interior.
8. To prevent unwanted light spill out of the vent, the vent can be tented in a dome shape to allow air flow.
