HH Simonsen® has designed these irresistible ROD styling irons with a number of leading stylists specializing in updos for long hair. The design of these ten RODs is unique and gives creativity a boost, making it fun to design different types of curls – and textures. The ceramic teflon coating ensures that the hair does not stick to the surface during use, even when hairspray has been sprayed on the hair. The hair is left soft and shiny thanks to the ionic effect of the tourmaline.

HOW TO USE

Casual Curls

Make a side section. Part hair into sections, and leave the back part loose.

Lav en sideskörning. Fæstn håret i begge sider, så kan det hageste här hanger last.

Starting at the back, create a medium-sized section and pin the rest of the hair with hair clips. Take a strand of hair from one of the sides, and turn the wondownwards.

Eas et lag blir hænge fast i nøken, mens resten af håret sætles fast med hårlip. Lag on hårtol i den ene side, og vendi lællejørnetnodod.

Twist the hair strand around the curing iron, starting at the top and moving down towards the tip.

Sno hårlotten rundt om krellejernet. Start øverst, og høvæg dig ned mod spidsen af krellejernet.

Repeat on the other hair strand, twisting in the same direction as before. Then make another section in the back, and repeat.

Genlag på den anden hårdlot, og tag så andnu et lag när, og fortsel opad. Sod allid: samme retning, så krollierne får et en- artet look.

Continue until all of the back hair is curled, then move on to the sides.

Take a strand of hair above the ear, and turn the wand downwards. Twist the hair around the wand, away from your face.

Start at the tap of the wand and move down towards the tip.

Continue all the way up to the top of your head, then repeat on the other side.

When finished, run your fingers through the hair and loose it to separate the curls. Repeat a few times, depending on how messy you want the curls.

Our hair irons boast an abundance of new features and have been designed for professional salon use. The Spedal Tourmaline Ceramic Healing surface glide effortlessly through your hair, emitting the most possible infrared and ionic energy. The result is 'hizz Iroa' hair with an intensive silky shine.

Our new heating technology has replaced the alder model, and ensures the quickest possible heating time (Approx 90 seconds). Unlike the alder, the heating elements are designed to give a constant heat at much higher temperatures. This is imperative for both performance and reliability.

All HH Simonsen® hair irons are easy to handle due to their ergonomic design and have been considerably reduced in weight. Unlike many irons, we have also boast a smooth action 'sweel' cord that eliminates tangled power cables.

If used correctly, in accordance to the "Safety Instructions" our products should provide you with years of use and ultimately give you the results you are looking for! We hope our product will provide you the most delightful styling experience.

1. Safety

Before using any HH Simonson® product, please read the following instructions carefully. This will safeguard you from possible hazards and prevent the appliance from damage caused by incorrect operation. Always operate according to the instructions! HH Simonson® cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by misuse of this product.

1.1 Explanation of Terms

You will find the following terms displayed in these safety notes: Danger: High Risk! Failure to comply with this warning can be fatal or may result in serious injury. Ignoring the instructions displaying this warning can kill, seriously injure and/or damage the appliances. [Attention: Medium Risk. Failure to comply with this warning may result injury or damage to properly. Note: Low Risk. This information should be taken into account when handling the appliance.

1.2 General Safety

Danger: High Risk!
- Only use the HH Simonsen® iron to style human hair. - Do not use it on artificial or animal hair.
• Do not use the heating elements to dry objects.
• The appliance must never be used in the bath, shower or over a filled wash basin or other container containing liquid.
• The appliance should not be operated with wet hands.

• Do not immerse with wet hands
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse under running dropping wet hair. When connected to the power supply, never leave the appliance unattended
• Check the mains voltage according to the voltage specified on the rating plate.

Never switch on the appliance when:

• The appliance or the power lead is damaged
- The device has been dropped, shows visible damage or is not functioning properly.
- The appliance is damaged to such an extent that electrical parts are exposed.
- Whenever this is the case, disconnect immediately from the power supply and contact the place of purchase.

The product must be unplugged from

the power supply when:

• A defect occurs during operation.

• You wish to clean the appliance.

• The application power switch is in off position.

• The appliance is not being used.

Danger: High Risk!

• Electrical appliances should be kept away from children. Children should not be allowed to use or play with the appliance or the products packaging, e.g. Plastic wrapping or films should also be kept out of reach of babies and young children.
• Arrange the power lead in a way that it will not cause obstruction or can be tripped over.
• Protect the power lead from damage. Never pull on the power lead, hold the power plug when removing it from the power socket.
• Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth (not well). Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning and ensure the unit has cooled down.
• Never use petrol spirits or other abrasive cleaning substances.
  • To prevent possible overheating, never place towels or similar items over or under the appliance.

- Do not use the appliance near combustible gases e.g. directly in the airflow of sprays, aerosols and styling foams. - Do not attempt to repair the product or connection cable by yourself

- Do not use an extension cable with this appliance.

- As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts remain live even when the unit is switched off.

Attention

• Risk of burns! Do not let bare skin come into contact with the heating plates during or after use until such time that the plates have cooled down
• When in use, the power cable should not be allowed to come into contact with the heating plates.
  Do not wind the power cable around the appliance, this can break the cable!
• When in operation only place the appliance down on trim heat resistant surfaces.
  • Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down before storing away.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARRENTY

• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not use outdoors e.g. in a garden or terrace etc.
• This appliance has been designed for use as a hair-styling iron only and must only be used with product specifically designed for use with a heated stylist.

Note

This appliance has been designed for commercial use, however it can be used in other commercial or domestic environments. Care should be taken to ensure the user has read and understand the safety instruction.

2. Preparing the appliance for use

1. Insert the plug into electrical outlet, ensuring that the supply voltage matches the rated voltage stated on the label.
   2 Press the ON/OFF to turn the appliance on. 3 Select the temperature setting for 170°C, 160°C, 160°C, 180°C or 200°C depending on the hairs quality.

2. Press the ON/OFF to turn it off after you finish the treatment.

Note

After 90 minutes the ROD Wand will go into sleep mode for safety reasons. Restart the ROD Wand by using the ON/OFF button. III Simansen® can't be responsible for any kind of burned or damaged hair caused by using the ROD iron.

3. Cleaning and care

To ensure the product remain in good working order, clean the appliance regularly. This will remove the build up of hair products or any other residue that can eventually coat the heating plates. Important: Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged.

4. Disposal

Equipment that has come to an end of its service life should undergo correct disposal in accordance with the law. Plastics and electronic parts should be submitted for recycling. Enquiry at your municipal waste disposal site.
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) contains materials, components and substances that may be hazardous and present a risk to human health and the environment when waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is not handled correctly. Equipment marked with the below crossed-out wheeled bin is electrical and electronic equipment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment should not be discarded together with unseparated household waste, but must be collected separately.

For this purpose all local authorities have established collection schemes under which residents can dispose waste electrical and electronic equipment at a recycling centre or other collection points, or WEEE will be collected directly from households. More detailed information is available from the technical administration of the relevant local authority.
Users of electrical and electronic equipment must not discard WEEE together with household waste, residents must use the municipal collection schemes to reduce adverse environmental impacts in connection with disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment and so increase opportunities for reuse, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Wee

WEEE is short for "Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment" and is used Eu-wide as a common designation for such waste. (Electronic scrap)

5. Warranty

All III Simensen® products are covered by a 12 months warranty. Repaired within 12 months from date of purchase. If it is found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
Please retain your original purchase receipt or invoice as a proof of date of purchase. The defective iron must be returned to the original place of purchase in its original packing and along with this warranty as well as the proof of purchase. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been operated in strict accordance to the safety instructions.

Warranty Exclusions

• Damages caused by normal wear and tear including chips, scratches, abrasions, discolorations or fading and damage to the power cord
• Damages caused by careless or improper transportation
• Damages caused by misuse of improper voltage and current
• Damages caused by negligence, careless, disassembly or dropping

- Damages caused by neparation or alteration which is not from the original manufacturer or its authorized agents - Any other damage which by HH Simansen's judgment are not defective by materials or workmanship

Specifications: Power AC 110-240V, 50/60Hz, 32W Dual Voltage, means you can use the power supply regardless if it is 110V or 230V.
HH Simonsen® can not be held responsible for damaged hair / hair extensions.

Super professionelt kroulejern

Opvarmning til max temperatur 200°C, på mindre end åt sekundet. Krallejernet har markedels mest avanzerede varneelamentør med infra Rad teknologi. Krallejernets overflade er coated med det patienterede CETETM, som er et keramisk materiale, som sikrer markedels mest affiktow linear-teknologi.

Kraftjørnem er i en absolut klasse for og selv, både med teknologi og performancei alle typer af här. Det har altid været. HH Simonsen ^® mål, at übde insorerne kvalnets produktor til professionelt drug.

III Simonsen* er kendetegnede ved et funktionell design, da professionello insurer har skrappe krav til

deres produkter. Overfladen med keramik og tournalm gar det legenda lit at krelle hånet, og statsk hår erli- neres på grund af de infrarade lyssstraler, samt ved hjælp at lomic-lektologi. Generel sikkerhed

I Fare: Haj risiko: Krallejernet må kun bruges på ngågt menneskohår. Krallejernet må ikke anvendes på kun- sögt här eller på dyrehår. Brug ikke krallejernet til at krulle andre objekter end menneskohår.

- Kryliejemet må ikke amentes - badekarret, bruseba-det eller over en fyldt håndvask eller andre beholdere indeholdondo væske.

• Krallejernet må ikke anvendes, hvis hænderne et fugtige eller våda.
• Krallejernet må tilke rengøres under rinnende vand, eller være i forbindelse med vådl hår.
• Knollayomet må ikke aftertades mod ledningen i stekot uden opsyn.
• Tjek atad stikontaktens spændingsefekt (volt), så det passert til produktets elektriske specifikationer.

Tænd aldrig for krollejernet nár:

• Ledningen er beskad gel
+ Knilejemter er beskadiget.
• Knollejernet har været tabt, og der ses spor efter skader
• Hats krellejemets elektriske dele kan ses.

Skulle krallejernet ved en fejl være blevet hsluttet strøm, sluk for jernet og fjør straks ledningen fra stikkontakten. Aflever krallejernet der, hvor det er kubt – husk kabskvitte-

ringen. Vær verlig at bemærke, at misligholdelse af kratie-jarmet ikke kan blav omlattet af en garanti.

Fjern ledningen fra stikkontakten hvis:

• Defektion forskommer i labet af brug.
  • Knitlegemet skal rengeres.
• Krallejemet står på off.
  • Krallejomet ikke bruges

- Ledningen må ikke ligge på overfader, som kan forårsage nedsmeltring af ledningens isoleringslag.
- Eter endt brug, skal ledningen fjernes fra stikkontakten Eftorsad along anliegernet sandt/eller i stikkot.
- Bam må ikke benytte krollejemet.
- Brug aldning en forlaengerledning.
- Som mange andre elektriske produkter, så er produktet "live" selvom det står på Dift.
- Kraillejørnet skal altid nedikles inden det paklies sammen til opbevaring
- Kralleyernet skal under brug være i konstant bevegelse. Hvis dette ikke overhoides vil håret blive adelagt pga, den meget haje temperatur.
- Kraliejernet må kise bruges på dyr.

BRUGERVEJLEDNING OG SIKKERHED

- Brug aldrig benzin, fortynder eller anden form for kemi, til at nense krøllejæmet med (brug en fugtet klud med en lat sæbeoplasning på, vær sikker på at krøllejæmet er hell turt, inden du sætter det i stikkontakten og taendor det igen).

Enhver skade på personer eller ting, som er skyld i en all ovstående fejl. vil ikke kunne erstattes.

Fare: Lav risikoen:

• Brug ikke andre elektriske apparater på samme stik-kontast.
• Efterlad aldning kralbejemt tændt (fem aldo stieket fra stiekontakten efter drug)

• Træk, ikke stikket ud af stikkontakten med unadvendig stårke.
  • Stikvet/ledningen må like bøjes eller repareres på

• Hås ledningen eller stikket bliver varmt sluk straks for krallajemet og lang den fra dig på et stykke 'like brandart' materiale.

• Brug ikke krallejemet, i nærheden af id, eller andre let antandelige materialer (såsom benzin, gas, forhynder vaesker, linole, sorays etc.).
• Under brug vil krøllegnet blive varmt, og det kan være nødvendigt at beslytte hånder med handskor, som tåler varme.
• Sart along del varme kratiejem direkte ind på et eje eller andre sarte kropodale. Dette kan fornage brandskader.
• Når der er barn tilstede, må krællejørnot ikke anvendes, uden der er en kýndig person tilstede.
• Hårs ledningen bliver beskadiget, må du på ingen måder selv reparere den. Krollejomet skal indeveres til os, som så vii sorge for, at en autorseret elektriker

analyserer og reparerer ledningen på en forsvælig måde.
- Ledningen må along vides omkring krælejernet, idet det kan skade ledningen.
Enhver skade på personer eller ting, som er skyld i en at overstående fejl, vil ikke kunne erstattes.

! Fare: Lav risiko

Krallejernet er designet til professionelt brug. Brug derfor kun krallejernet i dat maje, som en professional insar ville gare. Krallejernet må ikke anvendes udenfor eller i vädrum, samt ved temperaturer under 10 grader.

Brugen af krollejemet.

1. Sart ledningens stik i stikkontakten.

2. Tryk på ON for at taende for apparakter.

3. Tryk på temperaturjusteringen för at ændre temperaturem imwillom 120-210°C

4. Tryk på OFF, när du er taendig med at bruge apparatet.
5. Albryd apparatet fra stremlorsyningen.
6. Lad apparatit keled her opbovaring

Rengering af krøllejernet

Overfladen skal rengøres for skæt (hårlak, gele, skum mm), som braender sig fast under brug, med jæerne mellemn. Overfladen skal rengøres med en nm klud. Kluden kan vmdes håndt op i en lot caetiekplanning, for at oplarse de productrester, som har sat sig på paderne. Undgå at lave rdser i overfladen under ringøring.
Ridser forårsaget al rengering er ikke dekket al garantien. Overfladen skal være kold inden rengeringen kan finde stred,

og krallejernet må åke tændes igen, førend krallejernet har ståot i minimum en time after afsluttet rangering.
NB: krællejemet kan ved brug andre larve på plastikovertla- den samt andre stoder, hvor varmen måtte kunne få indly- delse. Disse ændringer i larven er ikke omdattet af garantiordningen.

Wese

WEDE er en forkortelse for "Vlaste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment" og anvendes i hele EU som en fällies belegnelse for aftald fra elektriske og elektroniske produkter (elskrot).
