The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounded plug that must be inserted into a matching receptacle. Under no circumstances should the grounding prong be cut off the plug. Where a two-prong wall receptacle is encountered, it must be replaced with a property grounded three-prong receptacle installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes and ordinances. This work must be done only by a qualified electrician, using copper wire only. USE OF A THREE-PRONG TO TWO-PRONG ADAPT ER IS NOT REC OM MEND ED. FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figura 1)

1. Cuidadosamente retire el Ventilador de la caja.

FUNCIÓN DE TEMPORIZADOR: Este ventilador tiene un temporizador que le permite fijar el tiempo de funcionamiento pulsando el Botón Función de Temporizador ( ); ubicado en la zona de los controles en el ventilador. Pulse la tecla una vez para dos horas de funcionamiento, dos veces para cuatro horas y tres veces para ocho horas. Si se pulsa por cuarta vez, el ventilador vuelve al modo de funcionamiento continuo.
5. Después de apagar el Ventilador, desconecte la unidad del tomacorriente eléctrico.

CONTROL REMOTO:

Todas las funciones realizadas con el Control Remoto funcionan licénticamente a los controlas manuales. (Figura 2)

PARA MONTAR EN LA PARED:

ESTE VENTILADOR se DEBE MONTAR EN UNA SUPERFICIE PLANA ESTRUCTURALMENTE SOLIDA.

Sólo uso #6-32 X 1" tomillos para montar este Ventilador. La longitud del tomillo debe ser la suficientemente larga para ajustarse al clavo pared. Si un clavo no puede ser montado ni si el Ventilador se monta en una pared utilice unas anclas mas covenientes para este tipo de montaje.

Al montar el Ventilador a la pared, el conjunto de cuerda se debe localizar entre el Cuerpo del Ventilador y la Yunta del Ventilador. (Figura 3)

OPERATION (Figure 1)

1. Carefully remove the Fan from the carton.

2. Place the Fan on a firm and level surface.

Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a res i due that could dark en, stain or leave per ma nent blem is es on the finish of cer tain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/or hard wood floors.

1. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt out let.

WARNING

Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet. When plugs fit loose ly into re cep ta cles, they may slip partially or complete ly out of the re cep ta cle with only the slight movement of the at tached cord. Re cep ta cles in this con di tion may over heat and pose a serious fire haz ard; if covered by a cur tain or drape, the fire haz ard is even greater.

1. To adjust direction of air, simply tilt the head of the fan.

2. The ratchet adjustment will se cure ly locate and hold the fan in the de sired position.

NOTE: The ratchet as sem bly on this Fan is de signed for pos i tive lock po si tion ing. There fore, when ad just ing the fan an gle, you w hear a click ing sound. This is normal.

1. Apply power to your fan by pushing the Power Button ( Ⓞ).

2. FAN SPEED: You may now adjust the fan speed to the desired level, High, Medium or Low by pressing the Fan Speed Button (③) on the Fan.

3. TIMER FUNCTION: This fan is equipped with a timer that allows you to set the length of operation by pressing the Tim or Func Button (☐) on the control area of the fan or the remote control. Press it once for two hours, twice for four hours, a third time for eight hours. A fourth time will re set the fan to continue run ning mode.

4. After turning the Fan off, unplug the unit from the elec tri cal put let.

REMOTE CONTROL

All the functions performed with the Remote Control work identical to the manual controls. (Figure 2)

1. Install batteries supplied as shown in Figure 2. The battery is type "AAA".

2. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cad mi um) batteries

3. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE. BAT TER IES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK.

If you lose your remote control, please call Customer Service to order a replacement at 1-800-233-0268, Mon day through Fri-day, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

WALLMOUNT:

THIS FAN MUST BE MOUNTED ON A STRUCTurally SOLID FLAT SURFACE.

Only use #6-32 X 1" screws to mount this Fan. The screw length must be long enough to en gage the wall stud. If a stud cannot be found or if the Fan is mounted on a masonry wall, obtain suitable mounting anchors.

When mounting the Fan to the wall, the cord set MUST BE located between the Body of the Fan and the Yoke of the Fan. (Figure 3)

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS

If your Fan fails to operate, see below for a probable cause and solution: 1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working elec tri cal outlet.

• Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing or cleaning.
• NEVER place the Fan in or near water.
• Clean the Fan only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment; the vacuum will re move the lint
  and dirt from inside the Fan.
• NEVER attempt to take apart the Fan.
• Clean the body of the Fan with a soft cloth only.
• NEVER use ALCOHOL or SOL VENTS such as gasoline, ben zenc, paint thinner, or other harsh cleaners.
