ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the outlet and create a poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard. Outlets in this condition should be replaced by a qualified electrician.

ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and unplug the Fan when not in use.

BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Fan is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Fan into 240V or other power source. The Blue Plug™ on your Lasko Fan is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be removed or tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, DO NOT attempt to remove, replace, repair or tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Fan has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incorporated in this plug. THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet only one way. Match the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.

CAUTION

- AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected device, as these devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.

ENSAMBLAJE

1. Conecto la base - desenrosque la Tuerca del Módulo en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, Introduzca el Conjunto de Cables a traves del orificio de la base. Asegúrese de alinear la llave en la Base de Apoyo con la Muesca de Localización en el módulo. Inserte al módulo en el agujare en la Base. Pasa el Conjunto de Cables a traves de la Tuerca del Módulo y enrosque la tuerca en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que quede apretada. (Figura 1).
2. Hale suavemente cualquier exceso del Conjunto de Cables y celèquoio en el Canal de Localización de los Cables. (Figura 2)
3. Incline la parte superior del ventilador hacia atrás. Coleque la Rejilla Trasera sobre el Motor con la flecha apuntando hacia amba. (Figura 3)
4. Aprele con la Tuerca de Protección en EL SENTIDO DE LAS AGUJAS DEL RELOJ.
5. Deslice el aspa en el eje del motor. Alinea la Ranura en el Cubo del aspa con Pasador en el eje del motor. (Figura 3A)
6. Para fijar el Aspa, atornille la pieza giratoria en el eje en el sentirio contrario a las quies del reolhasta que quede fue en
7. Con la cabeza del ventilador inclinada hacia atrás y centrada, alínea el omamiento de la Rejilla Delantera para que quedo horizontal. Inserto la parte inferior de la Rejilla Delantera en la Rejilla Trasera. La pesetaria en la parte inferior de la Rejilla Trasera debe estar entre dos radios de la Rejilla Delantera. Ajuste la parte delantera a la trasera desde la parte superior y Irbase a ambos ladores. NO SE NECESITAN SUETADORES PARA LA REJILLA PARA EL ENSAMBIJALE. (Figura 4)

OPERACIÓN

1. Cologue el ventilador sobre una superficie firme y nivelada.
   ADVERTENCIA: Los tacos de plástico o hula, tales como las patas de esta unidad, pueden pogarse a la superficie de los muebles. OSCILACION: Empujo la Pentilla ubicada en la parte superior de la caja del motor para hacer que la cabeza del Ventilador se mueva de un lugar hacia otro. (Figuras 5 y 6)

Cuando use este ventilador, se deben de seguir las siguientes advertencias y precauciones para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descargas eléctricas y lesiones:

ADVERTENCIA

PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE INCENDIOS, DESCARGAS ELÉCTRICAS SIEMPRE SIGA LAS SIGUIENTES INSTRUCCIONES Y ADVERTENCIAS:

NO utilice este ventilador para ventilar las zonas donde se usen, almacenen o estén presentes líquidos o vapores inflamables, incluidos pinturas, gasolina, barnices, disolventes o productos de acabado para pisos. ¡SIEMPRE lea y siga todas las advertencias e instrucciones descritas en los envases de estos productos!

SIEMPRE asegúrese de que el enchufe encaje bien en el tomacomiente. Cuando los enchufes no encajan bien en el tomacomiente, pueden deslizarse un poco y crear una mala conexión. ESTE ARTEFACTO TIENE UN ENCHUFE POLARIZADO (una hoja del ventilador es más amplia que la otra). Este enchufe esta diseñado para encajar en el tomacomiente de una sola forma. - NO cubra el cable de corriente con tapetes, alfombras estrechas o artículos de coberturas similares. No coloque el cable de corriente debajo de muebles o artefactos. Coloque el cable de corriente lejos del tráfico de la habitación, donde las personas no se tropiecen con éste.

• NUNCA use un solo cable de extensión para hacer funcionar más de un ventilador u otro aparato eléctrico.

- NO use este ventilador si es que se ha danlado o el no funcione adecuadamente. - Cuando use el control remoto de su televisor u otro equipamiento, verifique para controlar que no encienda el Ventilador también.

- Mantenga la unidad de control remoto del Ventilador lejos de sillas y de su cama donde exista la posibilidad de que alguien se siente encima, deposite elementos sobre el o encienda el Ventilador inadvertamente.

- ESTE VENTILADOR NO CUMPLE CON LOS REQUERIMIENTOS DEL ARTICULO 547-7 (2008) DEL NEC. Este ventilador no es adecuado para su uso en instalaciones agrícolas, incluyendo las áreas donde el ganado, aves de corral u otros animales están encerrados. ASSEMBLY

1. Attach base - unscrew Pod Nut counter clockwise, insert cordset through hole of base. Make certain to align the Key on the Support Base with the Locating Notch on the Pod. Insert Pod into hole in base. Thread Cordset through Pod Nut and screw Pod Nut clockwise until hand light. (Figure 1)

2. Gently pull any excess slack of the Cordset and place it in the Wire Locating Trough. (Figure 2)

3. Tilt Fan head back. Put Rear Grill on Motor with arrow pointing upward. (Figure 3)

4. Tighten with Guard Nut turning CLOCKWISE.

5. Slide Blade onto motor shaft. (Align Groove on blade hub with Pin on motor shaft, Figure 3A)

6. To secure Blade, screw Spinner onto Shaft Counter Clockwise until light on Blade hub.

7. With Fan Head tilted back and centered, align Ornament of Front Grill so it is horizontal. Insert bottom of Front Grill into Rear Grill. Tab at the bottom of Rear Grill should be between two Spokes of Front Grill. Snap Front into Rear beginning at the top and working down both sides. NO GRILL CLIPS ARE NEEDED FOR ASSEMBLY. (Figure 4)

OPERATION

1. Place the Fan on a firm and level surface.

CAUTION: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/or hardwood floors.

1. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.

△WARNING Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.

When plugs fit loosely into receptacles, they may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord. Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain or drape, the fire hazard is even greater.

TILTING: This Fan is equipped with a multi-angle Fan Head for whole-room air circulation. Follow the steps below to properly adjust the "tilt angle" of your Fan. (Figure 4)

1. Place one hand just under the Fan Neck.

2. Place your other hand on top of Far

3. Gently push or pull the Fan Head until it is in the desired position.

After turning the Fan off, unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.

OSCILLATION: Push down Oscillation Knob on motor housing to make Fan head move from side to side. (Figures 5 and 6)

SPEED: Control Fan speed with Speed Knob. (Figure 7) 3 - High Speed 2 - Medium Speed 1 - Low Speed

MAINTENANCE

⚠ WARNING

To reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire please observe the following instructions:

• Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing or cleaning.
• NEVER place the Fan in or near water.
• Disassembled grills may be immersed to be cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Wipe all other parts with soft cloth moistened with water and mild detergent only. DRY ALL PARTS COMPLETELY BEFORE REASSEMBLING. After any maintenance or servicing, completely reassemble unit as described in this instruction manual before reconnecting to the power supply.

- NEVER use ALCOHOL or SOLVENTS such as gasoline, benzene, paint thinner, or other harsh cleaners.

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS

If your Fan fails to operate, see below for a probable cause and solution:

Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.

If you have a problem that can not be resolved by the steps listed above, contact Technical Assistance at [phone], Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

SERVICING: For servicing, other than general user maintenance, please contact Customer Service at [phone], Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm Eastern.

STORAGE: Store the Fan with these instructions, in the original carton in a cool, dry place.

LUBRICATION: Motor is permanently lubricated.
