axxent headsets have been developed with the needs of professional intercom users in mind. Two series with two models each comply with nearly all requirements in these types of applications. Series D-800 is optimized for extreme ruggedness and highest possible intelligibility, series D-900 emphasizes on high sound fidelity and wearing comfort. Both series are available as one-or two ears headsets. Both use dynamic microphone cartridges with balanced cable configuration.
The rugged cases are made of PE material and are almost indestructible. A high degree of acoustical and electrical insulation between microphone and headphone was a major consideration in development in order to minimize the problem of cross-talk. Skin friendly and comfortable ear cushions ease long time wearing. The cardioid pattern of the microphone elements result in excellent front-to-rear rejection of unwanted sound complimented by a high efficient pop protection.
The indestructible microphone boom of the series D-800 models is seamlessly connected to the left case, may however be moved safely to any desired position. The unbreakable microphone boom of the D-900 models may be moved to any position between right or left. In addition, a high grade micro switch mutes the microphone reliably.
