Important safeguards:
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

- Never touch the hot parts of the appliance(be careful, also the warming plate is a hot part!), only touch the plastic parts and take the jug by the handle.

Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning, allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

The appliance has to be switched off before filling it with water, and make sure never to overfill.

Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, because the material can melt.

Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn off the switch, then remove plug from wall outlet.

Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the coffee maker.

Do not use coffee maker with a damaged outlet.

Any examination, repair, or adjustment for the appliance should be made by the authorized service agent.

Uncover the water tank lid and fill in clean water to required level.
- Put adequate quantity of coffee power or tea leaves in the filter cone.
- Close the filter cone bracket with the filter cone in it.
- Place the glass carafe on the warm plate.
- Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the machine begin working.
- Once the coffee is poured in the filter, there is also the possibility to obtain the coffee stronger or lighter by using the passing water regulation.
To obtain softer coffee place the passing water regulation indicator in position

- After boiling, when no water in tank if you keep switch on and the carafe on heating plate, this will remain the coffee or tea warm, the water in carafe can be warm at:
a. above 75^ C in half an hour.
b. above 68°C in an hour.
Cleaning instruction:
- Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
- Wipe outside with soft, dry cloth when coffee maker is cold, never use metal polish.
- The removable items should be washed in hot soapy water, rinse them before fixing.
- Wash the filter and glass carafe.
- Clean the machine about every 5 months so as to keep high efficiency.
- Put the coffee maker in a dry and not very hot place.
