| The filter cartridge should be replaced at least every six months for the product to perform as advertised. Please refer to the Use and Care Manual for general operation and maintenance requirements. Your refrigerator will have an electronic light on the freezer door dispenser that lights up yellow when the filter is almost ready for replacement and lights up red when the filter must be replaced. The indicator is pressed for approximately 3-10 seconds to reset after replacing the filter cartridge. Please refer to the Use & Care Manual for complete instructions. The water filter status light on this model is not tested or certified by NSF.Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.While testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
