Please read these instructions before using the DYMATRAP® Insect Trap and keep for future reference.

1. Always unplug before replacing the lamp. Replace bulb with the same type rated 6 watts. (DysonTrap Part# 32050)

3. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used near children.

4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOUBLE-INSULATED, CORD-CONNECTED APPLIANCES:

In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing of a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by a qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identified to these parts in the appliance. A double-insulated appliance is marked with the words "DOUBLE INSULATION" or "DOUBLE INSULATED". The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the appliance.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION

1. Remove cardboard insert from the retaining cage.
2. Place the air damper assembly in the retaining copa with the crossbar facing up.
   Align the six damper notches with the matching notches on the retaining cage.
3. Place the trap on the retaining cage and twist clockwise to the lock position.
4. Save carton for off-season storage (if needed).
5. If hanging the unit, place it approximately 3-6 feet above floor or ground for
   optimal catch-rate and easy access for cleaning
   Unit can also be placed on the floor or ground.
6. Plug cord into an outdoor outlet or UL listed extension cord as described
   in "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS"
7. Turn power switch to "ON" position. The switch is located under the upper
   housing near the light bulbs
8. For best catch results leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing
9. Catch rate activity will be higher at night. For best catch results, place until away
   from other competing light sources.
10. It is recommended to place the unit 20 to 40 foot away from where people
    will be sitting.
11. This unit is all-weather resistant - designed for outdoor use including rainy conditions.

RETAINING CASE

REPLACING BULBS

Light bulbs life expectancy is approximately 3,000 hours (or about 4 months), and should be replaced after that time has passed in order to maintain optimal UV effectiveness. Even though the bulb's light may be visible to you, it's ability to attract insects diminishes over time.

1. Turn power switch to "OFF" position, UNPLUG UNIT, and a low bulb to coal before replacing.

2. Remove screws from clear plastic light socket covers.

3. Remove both clear plastic covers by squeezing the tabs and pulling downward.

4. Carefully turn bulb counterclockwise and then pull bulb straight out.

5. Locate and insert new bulbs into sockets, carefully turn clockwise, and make sure the prongs of the bulb are seated properly.

Replacement bulbs (6-watt fluorescent bulbs - part no. 32050) can be found at your local retailer or can be ordered directly from

1. Replace both clear plastic covers by squeezing the tabs and pushing upward into place.

CLEANING

Clear the trop of next once a week to prolong life of the unit, insure fire prevention, and provide for more efficient operation.

1. Remove the retaining cage by holding the trap securely and twisting counter clockwise.

2. Griza the edge of the crossbar and pull up firmly to remove damper assembly.

HOW THE DYNAMTRAP® INSECT TRAP WORKS

Flying insects are attracted to the unit by the UV light and the CO2 that is generated by the photo-catalysis between the UV lamps and the 10/2 coating. The fan pulls the insects into the retaining cage, trapping them until they dehydrate and die. The screened base can be removed, so you can periodically empty the contents into the trash. The screen allows you to see what's trapped in the compartment, alerting you when the retaining cage needs to be emptied.

TROUBLESHOOTING

This warranty does not apply to the light bulb, nor to, in our judgment, misuse or abuse. If this unit has been altered, no warranty is in force. This warranty does not apply if this unit is purchased outside the United States, Canada and Mexico. In no case shall DYNAMIC be liable for any accident, punitive, consequential, or any other damages of any kind for breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, whatsoever. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. CUIDADO

INSTRUCCIONES PARA APARATOS DE DOBLE AISLADO, APARATO CONECTADO CON CABLE:

INSTALACION E INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION

1. Remueve el cartón de la igula de retención.

REEMPLAZANDO LOS FOCOS

COMO FUNCIONA LA TRAMPA DE INSECTOS DYNATRAP ^1
