USER MANUAL BW900 ALECTO

The final temperature of the milk or food is determined by the amount of water in the bottle warmer. If the temperature is too high, it is recommended to use less water in the bottle warmer. In case the temperature is too low, use more water.

After heating, it is recommended to take the milk bottle out and shake the milk or stir the food well before feeding it to the child.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications. This appliance should not be used for direct commercial purposes or operated in moving vehicles. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

• Read this safety information through carefully before using the appliance and keep it in a safe place.
• This device may be used by children 3 years of age and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity or lack of experience provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting hazards.
• Children may not play with the device.
• Children may not carry out cleaning and user maintenance tasks unless they are aged over 8 and are under supervision.
• Children under the age of 3 should be kept away from the appliance and the power supply cable.
• Do not use the baby bottle warmer in the event of obvious defects on the appliance, cable or connector.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent hazards.
• Mains voltage must match the voltage quoted on the underside of the appliance.
• Never use the bottle warmer without water in it.
• Do not move an appliance containing hot liquid.
• Periodically take the jar out of the bottle warmer and stir the food to distribute the temperature evenly.
• Discard the water from the bottle warmer each time after heating a bottle or jar and use fresh water in the next food preparation.
• Do not warm baby food for too long. For food hygiene reasons, do not exceed one hour.
• Bottles or jars may not be tightly sealed during heating in the baby bottle warmer otherwise excessive pressure may build up (risk of explosion/material damage).
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
• Do not use it outdoors.
• The appliance may not be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system like a remote control socket, for example, because the appliance should never leave unsupervised during operation, so that you can intervene in good time if it malfunctions.

OPERATION

Heat up small bottles

1. Place the bottle warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children.

2. Pour water into the bottle warmer. (around 80ml, see the short marking mark)

3. Place the bottle into the bottle warmer.

4. Insert the plug into a 230 Volts wall socket. The unit will into standby mode.

5. Press START/STOP ⏻ button to switch on the bottle warmer.

6. Within 5 seconds, press FUNCTION ☐ button to select the function of heat up small bottles:

Small bottles + - 88 + -

1. This function default warm-up time is 2:30mins, and the time adjustable range is 0 \~ 7mins.

2. You can use the +/- button to increase or decrease the recommended warm-up time, see below chart. (The following chart only serves as a reference):

1. After the function is selected, the function indicator and display will automatically enter the working state after blinking for 5 times.

2. When the countdown reaches 0:00, 3 beeps are emitted while the bottle warmer switches to standby mode.

3. Remove the bottle from the bottle warmer and shake the milk to ensure an even temperature.

4. First check the temperature of the milk with the back of your hand before feeding your baby, to ensure the food is at a temperature that's safe for your baby.

- If the temperature is too low, briefly put the bottle back into the warm water of the bottle warmer. You don't need to switch the device on again. The water will still be warm enough. Perhaps next time you could increase the warm-up time somewhat.

• If the temperature is too high, let the milk cool down and next time set somewhat shorter warm-up time.

Heat up big bottles

1. Place the bottle warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children.

2. Pour water into the bottle warmer. (around 80ml, see the short marking mark)

3. Place the bottle into the bottle warmer.

Keep warm (slowly heat up)

1. Place the bottle warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children.

2. Place the jar (without lid) or bottle into the bottle warmer.

3. Fill up the space between the bottle warmer and the bottle or jar with tap water at room temperature. Fill with water until you reach the same level as the milk or food in the jar. When filling, never exceed the maximum mark indicated on the container.

4. Insert the plug into a 230 Volts wall socket. The unit will into standby mode.

5. Press START/STOP ⏻ button to switch on the bottle warmer.

6. Within 5 seconds, press FUNCTION ⏻ button to select the function of keep warm:

Keep warm (slowly heat up)

1. This function default warm-up time is 16 mins, and the time adjustable range is 0 \~ 20mins.

2. You can use the +/- button to increase or decrease the recommended warm-up time, see below chart. (The following chart only serves as a reference):

1. After the function is selected, the function indicator and display will automatically enter the working state after blinking for 5 times.

2. When the countdown reaches 0:00, 3 beeps are emitted while the bottle warmer switches to keep warm mode and the display will show 'bb'. The whole keep warm time is 1hour. After 1hour keep warm time finished, the unit go back to standby mode. You can also press START/STOP button to end earlier.

3. When it is feeding time, remove the bottle/jar from the bottle warmer and shake the milk or stir the food to ensure an even temperature. (press the START/STOP button in case the keep-warm feature was still in function)

4. In case the keep-warm feature was still in function)First check the temperature of the food with the back of your hand before feeding your baby, to ensure the food is at a temperature that's safe for your baby.

- If the temperature is too low, briefly put the bottle or jar back into the warm water of the bottle warmer. You don't have to switch the device on again. The water will still be warm enough. The next time you may want to pour some more water into the bottle warmer.

- If the temperature is too high, let the milk or food cool down and the next time pour a little less water into the bottle warmer.

Defrost

1. Place the bottle warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children.

2. Place the jar or bottle with the frozen food into the bottle warmer.

3. Fill up the space between the bottle warmer and the bottle or jar with tap water at room temperature. Fill with water until you reach the same level as the milk or food in the jar. When filling, never exceed the maximum mark indicated on the container.

4. Insert the plug into a 230Volts wall socket. The unit will into standby mode.

5. Press START/STOP ⏻ button to switch on the bottle warmer.

6. Within 5 seconds, press FUNCTION button Ⓞ to select the function of defrost:

Defrost + - 88 + ○ - ○ ●

1. This function default defrost time is 20mins.

2. After the 20 minutes defrosting time, 3 beeps are emitted and the bottle warmer switches to standby mode.

Sterilize pacifiers

1. Place the bottle warmer on a stable surface, out of reach of children.

2. Pour of water into the bottle warmer. (see the short marking mark)

3. Put the bottle you'd like to sterilize down into the bottle warmer.

4. Place the steam cover onto the bottle warmer to both keep the heat inside and to prevent hot splashes from harming you.

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS STEAM COVER MAY BECOME VERY HOT LURING USE.

1. Insert the plug into a 230Volts wall socket. The unit will into standby mode.

2. Press START/STOP ⏻ button to switch on the bottle warmer.

3. Within 5 seconds, press FUNCTION ⏻ button to select the function of sterilize:

Sterilize pacifiers + - 88

1. This function default sterilizing time is 5mins. After the 5 minutes sterilizing time, 3 beeps are emitted and the bottle warmer switches to standby mode.

Attention: the steam cover may become very hot. First wait several minutes until the temperature has decreased sufficiently for you to safely remove the steam cover. Use kitchen pliers (not included) to remove the pacifiers from the bottle warmer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning:

Disconnect the Baby Bottle Warmer from the mains socket and allow it to cool down. Clean the container and the outside of the Baby Bottle Warmer with a damp cloth. Never immerse the Baby Bottle Warmer in water. Do not use cleaning or scouring agents.

Decalcify:

Hard water deposits must be removed. To do this use white vinegar only. Pour the vinegar into the tank at mid-level, allow to rest until the hard water deposits have been completely eliminated. Rinse well and wipe with a damp cloth.

Recycling

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other house hold wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

This product comes with a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. During this period, any defects in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced.
