How to assemble the juicer?

Place the pitcher on the base, then stack the pulp control filter, the fixed filter, the extraction head, and the extraction cone. Make sure everything is aligned with the handle.

How to start juicing?

Operating Safety Precautions

1. NEVER put fingers or utensils into feed or discharge areas.
2. Keep hands and utensils out of container while unit is in operation to reduce the risk of severe personal injury or damage to the appliance.
3. DO NOT remove lid while in use. Always operate appliance with lid in place.
4. DO NOT add anything to the container while the appliance is operating.
5. This unit must be on a level surface to operate properly.

6. Make sure the container is properly attached to the base before turning on unit.

7. Check inside of the pitcher for foreign objects prior to use.

8. Make sure the Extractor is properly attached to the base and pitcher before turning unit on.

Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug

1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
2. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.

Thank you for purchasing the TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT from Nostalgia™! Now you can make your own fresh squeezed Margarita with this Taco Tuesday Fresh Lime Juicer!

The TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT is easy to use! Just place a citrus half onto the juicing cone and press down to activate the juicer. Remove the juicing cone and basket from pitcher and place the plastic lid on top. Release the pitcher from the base to serve! Comes with a salt/sugar rimmer and four 8-oz. margarita glasses!

ASSEMBLY

It is very important that the unit is assembled properly in order for the unit to work.

1. Place the pitcher on top of the base.
2. Place the pulp control filter on top of the pitcher with the fixed filter nested on top of that. The filters should line up with the handle.
3. Make sure the extractor head is secured into the filter and the juicing cone is placed on top of the extractor head.
4. The Salt/Sugar Rimmer, or Cover, may be placed on top to serve.
5. The margarita glasses come in two pieces - attach the bottom of the margarita glasses onto the base.

HOW TO OPERATE

1. Before first use, remove all packaging materials and assemble before plugging in.
2. Plug in the unit.
3. To start the Juicing process, place a citrus half on top of the juicing cone to activate the juicer. NOTE: Press the fruit heavily with hands to make the blades turn. It's also recommended to place the other hand on the handle to keep the pitcher secure.
4. To control how much pulp gets filtered into the pitcher, slide the switch on the handle (1-5 settings, 5 being the most).
5. When finished juicing, take off the extractor head and juicing cone, along with the two filters.
6. Put in the ingredients to make your perfect margarita.
7. The Salt/Susgar Rimmer may be placed on top of the pitcher or on a flat surface. Fill with salt or sugar.
8. Turn the glass upside down.
9. Dip all sides of the rim into the salt by lightly swirling the glass. NOTE: It is recommended to wet the rim (or lip) of the glasses with a fruit wedge to get the salt/sugar to stick.
10. Now you are ready to serve cold, refreshing margaritas and drinks from your LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT!

HELPFUL TIPS

UNIT IS NOT TURNING ON

- If the unit is not turning on, make sure that it is fully and properly plugged into the outlet.

JUICER IS NOT WORKING

- Make sure that the juicing cone is placed on top of the extractor head. Press the fruit heavily with hands to make the blades turn.

TOO MUCH/NOT ENOUGH PULP

- To control how much pulp gets filtered into the pitcher, slide the switch on the handle. There are 5 settings (1-5), with 5 being the most pulp.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. After using your TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT, disconnect from electrical outlet. Remove plug by gripping the plug body and pulling out of the outlet. Never yank or twist cord to unplug the unit.
2. Dispense all remaining liquid from the Pitcher.
3. Remove Pitcher from Base and fill with clean water. Dispense all of the water through the Spout until liquid runs clear.
4. Wipe inside and outside of Pitcher with a wet, non-abrasive cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly with a soft, non-abrasive towel.
5. Wipe Base with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 with the two filters, juicing cone and extractor head.
7. DO NOT put any parts in the dishwasher.
8. Once washing and drying is complete, reassemble your TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT. Now your TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT is ready to use again.
9. To prolong the life of your TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT, be sure to follow the cleaning instructions after every use and make sure that the Spout is flushed thoroughly while washing the unit to prevent build up.

RECIPES

Use your imagination to create many different drinks with your TACO TUESDSAY LIME JUICER & MARGARITA KIT. Here, you will find several recipes. You can adjust the ingredients to your particular taste, or create your own – so have fun!

The following recipes are based on a single serving size. To make multiple servings (up to four 8oz servings), multiply each ingridient measurement by the desired number of servings.

1 SHOT = 1½ ounces (45 ml)

1 CUP = 5.33 Shots (239.85 ml)

BASIC MARGARITA

• 2 Shots Tequila Serves one
- 1 Shot Triple Sec
- 1½ Cups Margarita Mix
• 1 Shot Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
• Salt & Lime Wedge for Garnishing

STRAWBERRY MANGO MARGARITA

• 1 Shot Tequila Serves one
- 5 oz. Mango Juice
• 3 oz. Strawberry juice
- Salt for Rimming Glass (optional)

ORANGE JULIUS SLUSH

• 2 12 -oz. Rum Serves two
  • 12-oz. Orange Juice
• 2 14 -oz. Vodka

STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI SLUSH

• 12-oz. Strawberry Serves four juice
• 1 ^1/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup
- ^2/_3 Cup White Rum
• 3 Tbsp. Fresh Lime Juice
• Lime Slices for Garnishing

BANANA DAIQUIRI

• 1/2 Cups White Rum Serves four
• 1/2 Cup Triple Sec
• 1/8 cup Banana liqueur
- 3-oz. Lime Juice
• 1/8 Cup Sugar
• 3-oz. Citrus Soda

APRICOT SMOOTHIE

• 2-oz. White Rum Serves two
• 1-oz. Triple Sec
• 26-oz. Apricot Juice
- 1/2 -oz. Cream

KAHLUA COLADA

• 1 12 -oz. Kahlua Serves one
• 1/2 -oz. Rum
• 2¼-oz. Coconut Cream
• 2¼-oz. Pineapple Juice
• 12 -oz. Cream

GINGER FRUIT SLUSH

• 6-oz. Ginger Ale Serves four
- 6-oz. Orange Juice

As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
