BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding. Accessory parts may be contained within the packaging material.

Wash the cup and mixing wand in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the mixing head with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the mixing head in water or any other liquid.

Note: The mixing head does not tilt.

USING YOUR HERSHEY'S MILK SHAKE MACHINE

  1. Align the tabs on the wand with the slots in the shaft of the mixing head, insert the mixing wand.
  2. Set the control switch to "O" and plug the cord into a 120 volt, AC outlet ONLY.
  3. Place ingredients to be mixed into the blending cup. Ensure that the ingredients do not exceed the "MAX," (8.5oz./250mL) indicator line.

English - 3

  1. Attach the blending cup on to the Milk Shake Machine. The cup should be completely under the cup support and sitting on the cup rest.
  2. Press "Pulse" 3 - 4 times for 2-3 seconds each to begin mixing. Mix at high speed, "II". Note: You may need to turn the cup to assist mixing. Do not run the motor continuously for more than 1 12 minutes, as this could burn out the motor.
  3. When mixing is complete, set the control switch to "O." Remove the blending cup and pour the mixture into the desired serving container.

- A small amount of smoke and/or odor may occur upon use due to the release of manufacturing oils – this is normal.

- Some minor expansion/contraction sounds may occur during use – this is normal.

HELPFUL HINTS

The Milk Shake Machine can also be used to mix thin batters and eggs, using low speed "I".

Do not use whole fruits when mixing. Mashed or pureed fruits work best in the Milk Shake Machine.

Always add any syrups or powders last to prevent them sinking to the bottom of the blending cup.

For best results, ensure that all ingredients are as cold as possible before mixing. Drinks made with ice cold milk will mix thicker and frothier than if warmer milk is used.

This appliance cannot crush ice. If you wish to make a drink with ice, use ice that has already been crushed.

CLEANING YOUR HERSHEY'S MILK SHAKE MACHINE

  1. With the control switch set to "O", unplug the appliance from the outlet.
  2. Remove the mixing wand by gently pulling it out of the mixing head.
  3. Wash the blending cup and mixing wand in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
  4. If needed, wipe the mixing head with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners, or damage may occur to the appliance. Do not immerse the mixing head in water or any other liquid.

This appliance has no user serviceable parts.
