SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General safety instructions

- This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities and/or lack of experience and knowledge and/or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised by a person responsible for them when using the appliance or have been instructed in the use of the appliance by such a person and understand the risks involved in using the appliance.

- Keep children under 8 years of age away from the appliance.

- Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance by children over 8 years of age must only be carried out under supervision.

- Have a damaged power cord replaced by the manufacturer, the customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

- Do not use the dryer if chemical detergents have been used for cleaning.

• The lint filter must be cleaned regularly.

• Make sure that no lint accumulates around the dryer.

- Do not dry unwashed clothes in the dryer.

- Clothing that has come into contact with substances such as oil, acetone, alcohol, methylated spirits, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, wax and wax remover should be washed in hot water with an extra portion of detergent before drying in the dryer.

- Objects such as foam rubber (latex moulded), shower caps, waterproof textiles, objects with a rubber base and clothing or pillows with foam rubber padding should not be tumble dried.

- Fabric softeners or similar products should be used as indicated in the instructions for fabric softeners.

- Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are removed and distributed immediately to allow heat to escape.

- Do not discharge the exhaust air into a fume cupboard used to extract the fumes from appliances that burn gas or other fuels.

- The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the side opposite the tumble dryer. The door of the tumble dryer must be designed to prevent it from being opened completely.

- Objects soiled with oil may ignite spontaneously, especially if they are exposed to heat sources, such as in a tumble dryer.

• The unit should not be turned over during normal use or maintenance.
• Before drying, remove all objects from the pockets, especially lighters and matches.
• For units where the ventilation hole is on the bottom, take care not to block the ventilation holes with carpets, etc.
• Remove all packaging before using the product.

Power Supply

The dryer works with alternating current with nominal voltage and frequency. If the voltage fluctuates between 6% of the nominal voltage, the dryer can operate normally.

• Always connect the dryer to a separate power outlet to which no other household appliances are connected. Do not connect the dryer to a multi-socket outlet.
• The power plug must always be easily accessible, even after the appliance has been installed.
• The appliance must not be operated by an external device, such as a timer, and must not be connected to circuits that are regularly switched on and off.

Location and operation

• Install or store the device in a place where it is not exposed to temperatures below freezing point, water or weather conditions. Doing so may cause permanent damage that could void the warranty.
• Thoroughly spin-dry the laundry in the washing machine. A high spin speed can shorten the drying time in the dryer and reduce energy consumption.
• Do not wash or dry clothes that are contaminated with highly flammable or explosive substances (such as wax, oil, paint, gasoline, grease remover, dry cleaner, kerosene, etc.)
• Make sure that children do not climb on or into the device. Supervise children while the appliance is in operation.
• Do not store plastic, paper or clothing on the product while it is operating as it may burn or melt.

• Do not dry rubber or plastic objects, etc. inside the product. This includes, but is not limited to, padded bras, tennis shoes, boots, bath mats, carpets, bibs, baby pants, raincoat plastic bags or plastic pillows that may melt or burn. Some rubber materials can spontaneously ignite and cause fire when heated under certain circumstances.

• Keep the area around the outlet opening and the adjacent surrounding areas free of lint, dust and dirt. A clogged opening can reduce the airflow.

• Make sure there are no spray cans with flammable contents near the dryer. If gas leaks, do not unplug the appliance or press any buttons on the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it malfunctions or has missing parts, is damaged, disassembled, or has broken parts, including a damaged power plug or power cord.
• Do not operate the product with wet hands or feet.
• Do not discharge the exhaust air into fume cupboards used for appliances that burn gas or other fuels.
• The door of the dryer can only be opened after the dryer programs have been completed. Never open the door before a program has been completed as this could cause burns from hot steam or hot appliance components.

INSTALLATION

• Place the unit in a well-ventilated area with a minimum distance of 10 cm from walls. It is recommended to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from other objects in front of the dryer to ensure adequate ventilation.
• Place the dryer in the desired location. Then check that the dryer is level. If it is not, adjust the feet with a screwdriver so that the dryer is level. If the dryer is not completely straight (the angle of inclination is less than 2^ ), the dryer may run unbalanced or sometimes stop operating.
• Do not install the dryer outdoors as it may be damaged by rain or other weather conditions.
  • Make sure that there are no curtains or the like behind the appliance.
• Do not install the unit near gas or other highly flammable substances.

Fixation of the flexible hose

• Connect one end of the flexible hose to the rear vent valve and tighten the connection.
• The other end of the flexible hose is led outside. Refer to the pictures below for proper installation.

1		On/Off - Turn the unit on or off after plugging in and loading/unloading.
2		Start/Pause - Press this button during operation to start or pause the drying process
3		Extra - For drying cotton clothing. Drying stage: Extra dry.
4		Standard - Automatic drying for cotton and linen at the highest performance level.
5		Quick - Fast drying for polyester and blended fabrics under 0.8 kg.
6		Time+ - Press this button repeatedly to increase the drying time by 10 - 120 minutes.
7		Refresh - Refresh laundry with a total weight of less than 1 kg.
8		Parental Lock - Press the Standard and Quick buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to activate the parental lock. The buttons are then locked and the parental control symbol illuminates.
9		Time remaining
10		Reminder to clean the lint filter. When the program is finished, this light will illuminate to remind you to clean the lint filter.

Note: For some devices, the parental control key combination may be different. The parental lock can only be activated when the device is in operation. Once the parental control has been activated, only the On/Off key will react. If you want to operate the device, the parental lock must first be deactivated.

• The arrow symbol stands for the energy efficiency test program „Standard Cotton Program“, which is best suited to dry a normal cotton load at nominal capacity.
• Clean the lint strainer, housing and inner hose.
• Clean the lint filter when the appropriate light flashes after the drying process is complete.

COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION

Before drying

• Spin the laundry thoroughly in the washing machine before drying. A high spin speed can shorten the drying time and reduce energy consumption.
• To achieve an even drying result, you should sort the laundry by fabric type and dryer programme.
• Before drying, close zippers, hooks and eyelets, button the laundry, tie fabric belts together, etc.
• Do not dry the laundry too much, as clothes that have been dried too long can easily get creased.
• Do not dry items that contain rubber or similar elastic materials.
• The door can only be opened when the dryer program has finished. Otherwise the human skin could be scalded by hot steam or an overheated appliance.
• Clean the lint filter and empty container after each use to avoid prolonging the drying time and reducing energy consumption.
• Do not dry garments after dry cleaning.

Note

• Never overload the dryer.
- Do not put dripping wet clothes in the dryer as this may damage it.
- Silk and wool should not be dried in the dryer as they may be damaged.

Before putting clothes in the dryer, pay attention to the following symbols:

CLEANING AND CARE

Cleaning the lint filter

• Clean the lint filter after each use of the dryer. Remove it by pulling it straight up.
• Remove the lint with a cloth or your fingers.
• Clean the lint filter additionally, if necessary, with a damp cloth or under running water. Let it dry in the sun before inserting it into the machine.

Cleaning the housing and the inner hose

• Wipe the housing and inner hose with a damp cloth.
• Do not rinse the housing directly with water.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive cleaners or alcohol for cleaning.
  • After cleaning the inner hose, leave the door open for ventilation.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible cause Solution approach
Device cannot be started. Power outage. Wait until the power comes back on.
The weight is too high. The clothes in the dryer must not weigh more than 3 kg.
The thermal fuse is blown. Have the fuse replaced by a qualified person.
The unit becomes hot or smells strong.	The lint filter is dirty. Clean the lint filter after each use.
	The air inlet or outlet is dirty.	Clean the air inlet and outlet.
Clothing is too dry. There are too many clothes in the dryer or The clothes were not sorted properly.		Make sure there is not too much clothing in the dryer.

The clothes are shrinking. Temperature too high Note the label on the clothing. Hang them on the clothesline if they are not suitable for tumble drying.
Loud noise is heard while the unit is in operation.	The wet clothes are too heavy.	Reduce the amount of clothes in the dryer.
Air blasts can be heard. Steam is generated when drying the clothes, which is discharged.		This is normal and is not a malfunction.

Problem with the temperature sensor.

Stop the currently running program, remove the clothes immediately, leave the door open. Contact a specialist company for inspection or repair.
