CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.

NOTE: Refer to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

Dash Disassembly

1. Unclip and remove the switch plate below the radio with the door locks and hazard switch in it. (Figure A)
2. Remove the (3) T-20 Torx screws exposed behind switch plate. (Figure B)
3. Unclip and remove the trim plate surrounding the factory radio. (Figure C)

(Factory single DIN radio and pocket shown, factory DDIN and radio delete models may look slightly different.)

Note: Pull down on the panel that housed the switch plate to ease in panel removal.

1. Depending on the factory radio setup; remove the applicable T-20 Torx screws and remove the factory radio or radio blank plate.

Kit Assembly

ISO DIN radio provision

1. Mount the pocket to the radio brackets with the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws supplied. (Figure A)
2. Slide the radio into radio brackets/pocket assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
3. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS.
4. Mount the new radio assembly into the dash and reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly using the 99-8720B radio trim panel instead of the factory trim panel.
