Operating instructions

• Before using the megaphone make sure that the battery (1) is fully charged. Connect it to a USB socket via Type-C cable and wait for the led indicating recharge is completed.
• To power the megaphone with the rechargeable battery, lift the lock (2), open the cover and remove the adapter, which is necessary only if you mean to use the C batteries (not included). Once removed the adapter insert the rechargeable battery with the contacts facing downwards. Close the cover and lock the clip (2). Keep the removed adapter in a safe place as it might be useful in the future.
• By means of the switch (3) it is possible to choose the operating mode. After selecting "siren" press and hold the button (6) to generate an alarm sound. Select "Mic" and keep the button (6) pressed to amplify your voice. Select "Mp3" to activate the multimedia module. Use the rotating control (5) on the right side of the microphone, to adjust the volume. The microphone can be detached from the megaphone and features a talk switch (4) on the left side. By moving the switch downwards you can lock it, so that you can talk with no need of holding the button.
• The multimedia module allows to play MP3 audio from USB sticks (port 7), from micro SD cards (port 9) or via bluetooth, which can be activated by pressing and holding the button (13). Use the buttons 10-13 to play tracks from USB and micro SD. If you want to record a message to be looped press and hold the button (10), then speak into the microphone. To stop recording press the "play" button (13). The message will be played. To stop the repetition press again the "play" (13) button.
• It is possible to amplify an external audio signal on the megaphone, by connecting the source to the 3.5mm socket (8)
• The packaging includes a shoulder strap, which can be secured on the specific loops (14), for easy carriage and use with detached microphone.

Possible problems and solutions

• If the megaphone doesn't work, make sure first of all that the battery is charged and that it is properly positioned. In case of use with type "C" batteries check that the polarities are correct.
  • Check that the volume level is not too low.
• When you are not using the megaphone we suggest to place it in vertical position. The rubber protection around the horn preserves the fixture from scratches or damages.
• If the megaphone still doesn't work properly, contact our technical service center for further explanations. Remember to check if any updated manual or firmware is available on our website.
