INSTRUCTION FOR USE OF CO-SLEEPING CRIB WITH DROP SIDE "HEART 2 HEART"

This product has been manufactured in accordance with the Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EU of the European Parliament and The Council and with European standard EN 1130: 2019 „Children’s furniture. Cribs. Safety requirements and test methods.” and EN16890:2017+A1:2021 “Children furniture – Mattresses for cots and cribs – Safety requirements and test methods”, and the regulations of national law, including Consumer Protection Law.

- WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT READING THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FIRST!

- DO NOT ATTACH THE CRIB to adult bed with width bigger than 180 cm and with distance between floor and upper part of the mattress is less than 50 cm.
• The distance from the top (upper surface) of the adult mattress to the ground should be 50-60cm.
• This crib is suitable for adult beds that have independent side or element to fix the belts of the crib.
- The product should be placed only on a horizontal floor! Uneven surfaces may cause the product to be unstable!
• The crib should be locked in the fixed position when the child is left unattended!
- ATTENTION! LOCK THE WHEELS ALWAYS WHEN THERE IS A CHILD IN THE CRIB!
• Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the product!
• Before each use make sure that all fixings are locked.
- DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact manufacturer or an authorized dealer for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed.
• USE ONLY spare parts approved by manufacturer! - DO NOT substitute parts! The manufacturer shall not be responsible for the safety of the product in case substitute parts were used which were not approved and/or provided by the manufacturer!
- All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and that care should be taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies' dummies, etc.), which would pose a risk of strangulation.
- Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes, open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the product.
- DO NOT use the body of the product without its frame.
• The product shall NEVER be used in an inclined position. - When using the function “Co-sleep mode (fixed to adult’s bed)” in order to prevent the risk of suffocation hazard due to entrapment, the product shall be securely fixed to the adult’s bed using the attachment system.
- Use only the belts for fixing the crib next to adult's bed which are provided with this product! DO NOT use any other belts or system for fixing!
- The crib must be tight against the adult's bed and no gap is allowed between crib and the adult's bed mattress. DO NOT use the product if you find there is a gap! Do not fill the gap with pillows, blankets or other objects.
- Check if the crib is securely fixed to adult's bed by trying to pull it away from the bed.
• The product must NOT be used for more than one child at a time!
• Assembly, folding and unfolding of the product to be done by adults ONLY! - DO NOT allow children younger than 3 years old near the product during the assembly or disassembly in order to prevent the risk of injury or swallowing of small parts!
• The plastic bags must be kept away from children to avoid the risk of suffocation!

CAUTION! Follow exactly the instructions given and check the pictures.
CAUTION! AFTER EACH OPERATION, MAKE SURE THAT EACH FIXING IS SECURE!
CAUTION! In most cases after the completion of an operation you will hear a clicking sound.
CAUTION! Keep away your fingers from pinching during assembly!
No tools are required to complete the assembly of this product.
The assembly and functions are numbered from 1 to 18. Use the operations descriptions given in this manual and their matching picture.
ASSEMBLY
1 – ASSEMBLY OF SIDE SUPPORTS AND STORAGE BASKET
Place the storage basket (G) to both side supports (A) and fix with rivets M6x 35(L). Use the allen key (M).
Note: use 2 screws for each support. Make sure before usage that all rivets are strongly fixed.
2-WHEELS ASSEMBLY
Insert the wheels (K) to the openings at the storage basket (G) as shown on figure.
3 - ASSEMBLY OF SUPPORTING TUBES
Insert the supporting tubes (C)) to the frame of the cot and to the base of crib (D) as shown in the figure. By fixing you must hear a click sound and pins (1) must jump out of the slots.
4 - FIXING OF UPHOLSTERY OF COT TO THE FRAME
Fix the upholstery to the base of the cot (D) by fastening the velcro straps (2).
5,6 - ASSEMBLY OF THE COT SUPPORT
5 - Insert one ending of support (B) into upholstery of the cot (F).
6 – Insert the tubes into the other ending of the support (B) to the base of the cot (D) as shown of the figure.
By fixing you must hear a click sound.
Cover the upholstery and fasten the velcro strap (3) shown in figure 5.
Note: Make sure that support (B) is securely fixed to base of the cot (D).
Place the cot to side supports (A) and press until you hear a click, which shows that cot is fixed.
7 - MOBILE TOY ASSEMBLY
Place the toy into the slot on cot as figure shows.
8 - HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The cot may be adjusted in 3 height positions.
Rotate the locking mechanism (5). Pull simultaneously handles (6) at both sides and move the cot up or down until you reach the required position (1, 2 or 3).
ATTENTION! NEVER CHANGE THE HEIGHT OF THE COT WHILE THERE IS A CHILD IN IT! ATTENTION! ALWAYS SET THE CRIB AT THE SAME LEVEL AT BOTH SIDES!
9 - ROCKING FUNCTION
Move the sliders (7) at both sides inwards (towards the cot) to use the rocking function.
Move the sliders (7) inwards (towards side supports) in order to fix the cot.
10 - REMOVING THE UPHOLSTERY OF MATTRESS
Take out the mattress € from the cot, unzip the zipper (9) and remove the upholstery (8).
11 - WHEELS
Press the lever upwards (9) to unlock the wheels.
Press the lever downwards (10) to lock the wheels. Crib will stay still.
ATTENTION! ALWAYS LOCK THE WHEELS WHEN THERE IS A CHILD IN THE CRIB!
12, 13, 14, 15 - „FIXING TO THE ADULT'S BED”
12 – Open the zipper (11). Slide the releasing button (12) to unlock the drop side of cot and move it downwards.
12 – Join the buckles of fixing belts (I) with the buckles of belts located at both side of crib. By fixing you will hear a click sound.
14 - Adjust the height of the crib according to height of the adult bed.
ATTENTION! WHEN SIDE IS DROPPED, THE LEVEL OF CRIB MUST BE UNDER OT EQUAL TO ADULT BED MATTRESS, BUT NEVER ABOVE IT! (See figure).
15 – Lock the wheels (10), thread the fixing belts through the adult bed and join the buckles until you hear a click sound. Make sure that belts are not twisted and tighten them, so that crib is snug to adult bed mattress.
Note: Before usage make sure that belts are strongly fixed to adult bed!
ATTENTION! THE CRIB MUST BE SNUG TO ADULT BED MATTRESS!
ATTENTION! USE THE CRIB ONLY TO ADULT BEDS WITH UPRIGHT SIDES. DO NOT FIX IT TO ADULT BEDS WITH ROUND SHAPE OR BEDS WITH WATER MATTRESSES!
16, 17, 18 - COT REMOVAL
16 - Press the buttons (11) at both sides of the crib.
17, 18 - Lift the cot upwards and remove it from the supporting sides (A).

- Do not apply strong pressure on the mechanisms for adjusting and folding, as this may damage or brake them.
- Clean the plastic and metal parts with wet soft cotton cloth or sponge and mild detergent.
• The fabric parts may be hand washed 30°C. Follow the instruction from the washing label.
• Do not tumble dry or use drying machine! - Do not use aggressive detergents containing abrasive particles, ammonia, bleach or alcohol.
• Always air dry the crib and mattress before storing them to avoid the forming of mold. - Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not expose it to direct environment influence - sunlight, rain, moisture or drastic temperature changes!
- Do not place objects or other products on top of the products as this may damage its construction or upholstery.
- In case of any problems connected with the normal use of the crib, consult the manufacturer or authorized dealer.
