Wie schalte ich die Soundbar ein und aus?

Druecken Sie kurz die Ein-/Aus-Taste an der Seite der Soundbar oder auf der Fernbedienung, um die Soundbar einzuschalten. Zum Ausschalten halten Sie die Taste an der Soundbar gedrueckt oder druecken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste auf der Fernbedienung. Die Soundbar schaltet sich nach 15 Minuten ohne Bedienung automatisch in den Standby-Modus.

Wie verbinde ich die Soundbar ueber Bluetooth mit meinem Smartphone?

Schalten Sie die Soundbar ein - sie wechselt automatisch in den Bluetooth-Modus. Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth auf Ihrem Smartphone und suchen Sie nach Geraeten. Waehlen Sie "BPSB21DW" aus der Liste. Geben Sie bei Aufforderung das Passwort "0000" ein. Die Verbindung wird hergestellt. Die Reichweite betraegt bis zu 10 Meter.

Wie stelle ich eine Verbindung zum Fernseher ueber HDMI ARC her?

Verbinden Sie die Soundbar ueber ein HDMI-Kabel (nicht im Lieferumfang) mit dem HDMI-ARC-Anschluss Ihres Fernsehers. Waehlen Sie an der Soundbar den HDMI-Modus. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die HDMI-CEC-Funktion im TV-Menue aktiviert ist. Der Ton wird nun ueber die Soundbar ausgegeben und die Lautstaerke kann mit der TV-Fernbedienung geregelt werden.

Die Soundbar gibt keinen Ton von sich - was kann ich tun?

Ueberpruefen Sie die Lautstaerkeeinstellungen und ob die richtige Quelle (z. B. HDMI, optisch, Bluetooth) ausgewaehlt ist. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Audiowiedergabe des angeschlossenen Geraets auf PCM eingestellt ist, da die Soundbar moeglicherweise nicht alle digitalen Formate dekodiert. Trennen Sie die Stromversorgung fuer einige Sekunden und schalten Sie das Geraet wieder ein.

Wie wird der Subwoofer mit der Soundbar gekoppelt?

Schliessen Sie den Subwoofer an das Stromnetz an und schalten Sie ihn ein. Schalten Sie die Soundbar ein - Subwoofer und Soundbar verbinden sich automatisch. Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Geraete eingeschaltet sind und in Reichweite sind. Falls keine Verbindung zustande kommt, trennen Sie die Stromversorgung beider Geraete und versuchen Sie es erneut.

Kann ich die Soundbar an der Wand montieren?

Ja, die Soundbar kann an der Wand montiert werden. Die Montage sollte jedoch nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgefuehrt werden, um Verletzungen oder Schaeden zu vermeiden. Achten Sie auf ausreichende Belueftung (mindestens 20 cm ueber und 5 cm seitlich).

Wie reinige ich die Soundbar?

Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker. Verwenden Sie nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch. Keine chemischen Reinigungsmittel oder feuchte Tuecher verwenden, da dies zu Schaeden fuehren kann.

Welche Klangmodi stehen zur Verfuegung?

Ueber die Fernbedienung koennen Sie zwischen drei Klangmodi waehlen: Film, Musik und Dialog. Diese optimieren den Klang fuer verschiedene Inhalte. Druecken Sie die entsprechende Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um den gewuenschten Modus auszuwaehlen.

Die Fernbedienung funktioniert nicht - was tun?

Ueberpruefen Sie die Batterien (2 x AAA) und setzen Sie sie gegebenenfalls neu ein. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polaritaet. Verringern Sie den Abstand zur Soundbar und richten Sie die Fernbedienung direkt auf den Sensor. Entfernen Sie Hindernisse zwischen Fernbedienung und Soundbar.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen den verschiedenen Eingaengen (optisch, HDMI, USB, Line-In)?

Der optische Eingang eignet sich fuer digitale Audioquellen wie TV oder DVD-Player. HDMI ARC ermoeglicht die Tonuebertragung vom TV und die Steuerung der Lautstaerke ueber die TV-Fernbedienung. Der USB-Anschluss dient zur Wiedergabe von Musikdateien von einem USB-Stick. Der 3,5-mm-Line-In-Eingang ist fuer analoge Audioquellen wie Smartphones oder MP3-Player geeignet.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this manual thoroughly before you start using the Soundbar.

Store this manual, the completed warranty card, your receipt and the product packaging.

The safety precautions instructions reduces the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly complied to.

Please follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Only using furniture that can safely support the Products.
• Ensure the Product is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
• Do not place the product on a high furniture without securing both the furniture and the product to a stable support.
• Do not place the product on cloth or other conductive materials.
• Warn children of the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the soundbar or its controls and to call for an adult to assist.
• Do not expose this product to rain or moisture as it may result in fire or an electric shock hazard
• Do not temper or change or modify the product in any way.

Please follow instruction when installing this product in accordance with the instruction manual. This product must be positioned in a sufficiently stable location, it can be potentially hazardous due to falling when mounted and can cause injury, particularly to children if it positioned incorrectly.

• Before installing this Soundbar, make sure your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the power supply rating label
• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
• No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
• Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings.
• Do not plug several devices into the same outlet. Doing so may cause the outlet to overheat and start a fire. Make sure the outlet is readily accessible during operation of the equipment.

• When not using the unit for long periods of time or when you are moving the unit please ensure to disconnect the power supply from the wall socket.
• Please beware that dust could accumulate over time on the unit and cause it to generate heat and or deteriorate insulation, which in turn may result in an electrical fire.
• The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or young children of any age. They must be supervised product by a person responsible for their safety.
• Batteries from the remote control must be only removed by an adult, the adult must ensure to keep them out of reach of infants and children. Seek medical attention immediately if a child has swallowed a battery.
• To maintain the product do not use any chemical or cleaning agent or wet cloth, please only ensure to utilize a dry cloth to wipe it down from marks or dust and only after unplugging the product from the power socket.
• Please ensure to contact our call center for any repair or service required for the products.
  • Wall mounted installation must be carried out by a qualified personnel only. Incorrect installation may result in severe personal injury, electric shock and/or fire hazard.

Please make sure upon positioning this product, the place is:

• Not wet or damp and Well ventilated
- Away from direct sunlight or heaters.
• Away from splashes or food.
- Protected from excessive dust or grease.
- Do not place this equipment in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit. Allow 20cm above and 5cm spacing on both sides for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the Soundbar near heat sources such as radiators, stoves or other audio visual equipment that produce heat.
- Do not place containers with liquids, if liquid falls inside the products it may result in short-circuit, fire or electric shock.
- Do not place small metallic objects on top of the unit.
- Do not use or store flammable or combustible materials near the unit. Doing so may result in fire or explosion. Do not place any naked flame sources, such as lit candles, cigarettes or incense sticks on top of the soundbar.

REMOTE CONTROL

• The remote control has a reception range of approximately 5m. Be sure to point the remote control directly at the sensor at the front of the soundbar.
  • Make sure there are no obstacles in the way. This will interfere with the sensor strength.
• Handle the remote control carefully, please do not drop, apply shock or step on it.
• Do not spill water on it.
• Using the remote control while operating other remote controls which use infra-red rays near the unit as this will cause it to operate incorrectly.
• If you do not intend to use the remote control for a period of a month, remove the remote control to prevent battery leakage or corrosion.

Battery Precautions

• Do not use other batteries other than the one specified in this manual.
• Danger of explosion if incorrectly replaced by a battery other than the one specified.
• Do not store battery with other metallic objects, doing so can cause the battery to short-circuit, leak or explode.
• Ensure the battery is not exposed to excessive heat, direct sunlight or fire.
• Do not try to short-circuit, disassemble or throw the battery into a fire.
• Dispose of batteries promptly and correctly, observing any local hazardous waste regulations.

To insert new 2 x AAA batteries or replace current batteries, at the back of the remote control remove the cover of the battery compartment and insert the 2 x AAA batteries ensuring that the + sign on the battery is facing toward the + sign marked within the battery compartment.

1. Short press - Power ON and Switch function LONG PRESS TO POWER OFF.

CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS

HDMI

Connect a HDMI cable (not supplied) from your TV HDMI/ARC port to the HDMI socket on the soundbar. Then change the mode on your soundbar to HDMI Mode.

Note: To enable the Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature, the HDMI must be connected to an ARC enabled HDMI on your TV. (go to next page for details on ARC).

OPTICAL

Plug in the optical cable (not supplied) from your Soundbar to the TV optical port.

Once connected, change the Mode to OPTICAL from the unit or remote control.

Note: If there is no sound, make sure that the audio settings on your TV is set to appropriate mode.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case, the unit will mute. This is NOT a defect. Ensure that the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM (Refer to the user manual of the input source device for its audio setting details) with optical.

AUDIO RETURN CHANNEL (ARC) / HDMI

ARC function is used for connecting the Soundbar to the TV with a HDMI cable through an audio return channel. This means you can listen to the TV sounds through your Soundbar via HDMI cable.

To enjoy the HDMI ARC Mode

1. Make sure the Soundbar is connected to the TV HDMI(ARC) port.
2. Ensure the Soundbar is set to HDMI Mode
3. The sound should relay through the soundbar and you can also adjust the volume of the sound thats coming through the soundbar with your TV remote control.

Note: If the sound does not automatically produce from the soundbar, TVs may need to be set onto HDMI (CEC) turned on within the TV settings, with some of them having options to turn on ARC mode directly.

FIRST TIME SETUP WITH SUBWOOFER

To connect Subwoofer and Soundbar successfully

1. Make sure you have made all the necessary cable connections before connecting the Soundbar to a wall outlet.
2. Make sure the subwoofer is connected to the power, and turn the button to "ON".
3. Short press ⏻ on unit or ⏻ on remote control to turn on the soundbar. The Bluetooth will light up. Soundbar and subwoofer will automatically connect.
4. Press the source button on unit or M button on Remote Control to choose various source.

Note: The Soundbar will re-enter the Standby Mode again if there is no operation for 15 minutes.

GENERAL OPERATION

During On mode, press either buttons on RC for BT / OPTICAL / HDMI / USB - OR the M button on the side of soundbar. Operate your audio device directly for playback features.

Turning on/off the unit

1. Insert the output cable from the DC adapter into power socket on the rear of the Sound Bar.
2. Connect to DC mains plug into socket outlet properly.
3. Press the power button on the right side panel of Sound Bar or top of remote control to power on the unit.
4. Long press power button on the Sound Bar or press the button on the remote control to switch off the unit.

OPTICAL in Source

1. Ensure that the soundbar is connected to the TV or other audio device via an Optical cable.
2. Press the M button on the Remote control to choose Optical mode. Or you can also short press the source button on the soundbar to choose the Optical source.

Note: The playback is controlled by your device and by the button on the remote control.

LINE IN Source

1. Ensure that the soundbar is connected to the TV or other audio device via an audio cable.
2. Press the M button on the remote control to choose LINE IN mode. You can also short press the source button on the soundbar to choose the LINE IN source.

Note: The playback is controlled by your device and by the buttons on the remote control.

HDMI Source

Ensure that the soundbar is connected to the TV or other audio device via HDMI cables. Press the M button on the remote control or source button on the unit to choose HDMI mode.

Note: The device can synchronize the volume with the TV, and also with the switch.

USB Playing

Short press the ⏻ Button to turn on the soundbar, Insert the USB to the USB card slot, and the soundbar will play the music in the USB disk, short press ▶/∥ to play/pause the music. Short press ◀◀ or ▶◀ to play the previous/next music.

PAIRING YOUR SOUNDBAR

Pairing with a Bluetooth Enabled Device:

Before you play music from your Bluetooth device, it needs to be paired with the Soundbar.

1. Short press the Source button on the Soundbar to turn on it, then it will directly enters into Bluetooth mode.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your devices and the device will start to search for the Soundbar.
3. Select "BPSB21DW" from the list of found devices.
4. If asked, enter the password "0000" and press OK. Then the pairing device will get connected to the soundbar.
5. Press and hold the ▶/|| button on the Remote Control to disconnect the Bluetooth pairing.

NOTES:

• The Bluetooth playback is controlled by your device and the buttons on the remote control.
  • The operation range for the Bluetooth connection is 10 meters.
• If a mobile phone on which you are playing music receives a call, the music will be interrupted and not played. After call end, the devices are connected to each other again and playback continues.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Never try to repair the soundbar yourself. If you encounter any problems when using this unit, check the following points before seeking for service.
