Safety Precautions / सुरक्षा सावधानियाँ

1. Do not attempt to tamper with, or make any adjustments or repairs to the door, control panel, safety interlock switches or any other part of the oven. Repairs should only be undertaken by a qualified service technician.

अवन के दरवाजे, नियन्त्रण पैनल, सुरक्षा ताले या किसी भी दूसरे भाग से छेड़खानी न करें, मरम्मत न करें या तालमेल(adjustment) बैठाने का प्रयत्न न करें। मरम्मत व सर्विस किसी कुशल तकनीशियन से ही करायें।

1. Do not operate the oven when empty (except Pre-heat Mode). It is best to leave a glass of water in the oven when not in use. The water will safely absorb all microwave energy, if the oven is accidentally started.

अवन को कमी खाली न चलायें (Pre-heat Mode के अलावा) | जब अवन का प्रयोग न कर रहे हों, तो एक कॉँच के गिलास में पानी भर कर, अवन के अन्दर स्वर दें। अन्जाने में अवन चालू हो जाने पर पानी माइको तरंगों की ऊर्जा को सोख (absorb) लेगा।

1. Do not operate the oven with a kitchen towel, a napkin or any other obstruction between the door and the front edges of the oven.

अवन के दरवाजे में झाङ्न, नैपकिन, तौलिया आदि की रुकावट होने पर अवन कभी न चलाये।।

1. Do not use recycled paper products.

अवन में कागज या अखबारों के उत्पादनों का कभी प्रयोग न करें।

1. Do not rinse the turntable by placing it in water just after cooking.

भोजन पकाने के तुरन्ता बाद ही कॉच की ट्रें को पानी के नीये न रखें।

1. Be certain to place the oven so the front of the door is 8 cm or more behind the edge of the surface on which it is placed.

अवन रखते समय इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखें कि अवन का बाहरी किनारा, टेबल सतह केग किनारों से कम से कम 8 cm अन्दर हों।

1. Do not cook eggs in their shell.

अण्डों को छिलके समेत न पकार्यं ।

1. Do not attempt deepfat frying in your oven.

अवन में तलने का प्रयत्न न करें।

1. Remove the plastic wrapping from food before defrosting.

डिफ्रॉस्टिंग से पहले भोजन पर लगाया गया प्लास्टिक का आवरण (cling film) हटा दें।

1. If smoke is observed, switch off or disconnected the oven from the power supply and keep the oven door closed.

अवन में से धुँआ निकलने पर उसाका राम्बन्ध बिजली से काट दें और दरवाजा बन्द रखें।

1. Only allow children to use the oven without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.

बच्चों को अपनी निगरानी के बिना, अवन तभी प्रयोग करने दें, जब उन्हें सारे निर्देश पूरी तरह से समझा दिये गये हों। बच्चा अवन का उपयोग पूरी सावधानी रो करेगा और खतरों से बचा रहेगा।

1. Liquids or other foods must not be heated in sealed containers.

तरल खाध्य पदार्थ कभी भी बन्द डिबों में गर्म न करें।

1. Always use gloves when removing dish from oven.

डिश को अवन से बाहर निकालते समय दस्तानों का इस्तेमाल करें।

1. Do not cover the ventilation slots.

वेन्टीलेशन स्लोट्स को न दकें।

1. Never use metal or metal trimmed utensils in your microwave oven. (refer Cookware Selection Table at page 16)

माइकोवेव अवन में कभी भी ऐसे बर्तनों का प्रयोग न करें जो धातु के बने हों या उनमें धातु किसी भी रूप में इस्तेमाल की गई हो । (कृपया पेज 16 पर कृक्वेआर सलैक्षान टेबल देखें)

Warning/ चेतावनी

Always allow food to stand after being cooked by microwaves and check the temperature of them before consumption. Especially contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars.

सूक्ष्म तरंगों द्वारा भोजन पकाये जाने के बाद कुछ समय के लिये ढक कर अवश्य छोड़ दें। भोजन खाने से पहले तापमान की जॉच अवश्य कर लैं। बच्चों के भोजन व दूध में विशेष सावधानी बरतें।

Unpacking & Installing / अवल को खोलजा व लपाना

1 Unpack your oven and place it on a flat level surface. अवन को डिबे में से निकाल कर एक समतल (flat) सतह पर रखें।
2 Place the oven on the levelled location of your choice with more than 85cm height but make sure there is at least 30 cm of space on the top and 10cm at the rear for proper ventilation. The front of the oven should be at least 8cm from the edge of the surface to prevent tipping. An exhaust outlet is located on top or side of the oven. Blocking the outlet can damage the oven. अवन को इच्छित ऊँचाई पर रखें जो लगभग 85 से.मी. से अधिक ऊँचाई हो, परन्तु 30 से.मी. ऊपर और 10 से.मी. जगह पीळे अवश्य छोड़ी गई हो ताकि हवा का घुमाव सही रूप से हो सके। अवन की बाहरी भाग, सतह के किनारों से कम से कम 8 से.मी. अन्दर की ओर हो ताकि अवन के उलटने का भय न हो। हवा की निकासी का मार्ग, अवन की ऊपरी-बाहरी सतह पर बनाया गया है। इस मार्ग के अवरूद्ध होने पर अवन को क्षति पहुँच सकती है।
3 Plug your oven into a standard household socket. Switch on all the icons glow. Press Stop button; glows. If your oven does not work properly, unplug it from the electrical socket and then plug it back in. अवन का प्लग किरी सामान्य घरेलू रोंकेट में लगायें। सिवच दबायें, सारे चिन्ह उज्जवलित हो जाएंगे। Stop टटन दबायें, इ चिन्ह आएण। यदि आपका अवन सही रूप से काम न कर रहा हो, तो उसका ज्गम निकाल कर दोबारा सोंकेट में डाले।
4 Open your oven door by pulling the DOOR HANDLE. Place the ROTATING RING inside the oven and place the GLASS TRAY on top. अवन-हार खीलने के लिये "डोर हैण्डल" का प्रयोग करें। घूमने वाली रिंग को अवन में रखें और उसके ऊपर र्लास/काँच की गोल ट्रें रखें।

How the Microwave Oven works / माइक्रोवेव अवन की कार्य प्रणाली

Microwaves are a form of energy similar to radio and television waves and ordinary daylight. Normally, microwaves spread outwards as they travel through the atmosphere and disappear without effect. Microwave ovens, however, have a magnetron which is designed to make use of the energy in microwaves. Electricity, supplied to the magnetron tube, is used to create microwave energy.

सूक्ष तरंगे एक प्रकार की ऊर्जा हैं जो रेडिगो तरंगों और सामान्य प्रकाश तरंगों के समान गति होती हैं। सामान्यत: ये सूक्ष तरंगे वायुमण्डल में चालित होते समय बाहरी और फैलती हैं और बिना कोई प्रभाव डाले स्वत: ही समाप्त हो जाती हैं। परन्तु माइक्रोवेव अवनों में मैग्नेट्रोन (magnetron) इस प्रकार लगाया गया है कि वह सूक्ष तरंगों की ऊर्जा का प्रयोग कर सके। मैग्नेट्रोन को दी गई विबुत तरंगों की ऊर्जा में परिवित्ति हो जाती है।

Child Lock / चाइल्ड लॉक

Your oven has a safety feature that prevents accidental running of the oven. Once the child lock is set, you will be unable to use any functions and no cooking can take place. However your child can still open the oven door! आपके अवन में विशेष सुरुक्षा व्यवस्था है जो अवन को अनजाने में चलने नहीं देती | 'चाइलळ लॉक' लगाने पर अवन चालू ही नहीं होगा | परन्तु बच्चा बाहरी द्वार अवश्य खोल पायेगा |

Press STOP/CLEAR / STOP/CLEAR दबाये |

Press and hold STOP/ CLEAR until "L" appears on the display and BEEP sounds. STOP/CLEAR बटन राब तक दवा कर रखें जाब तक डिस्ले पैनल'प "L" न आ जाये और बीप' न सुनाई दे। The CHILD LOCK Is now set. / अम 'बाइल्ड लीक' लग गया है। The time will disappear on the display if you have set the clock. यदि पड़ी की 'सैटिंग' की हुई हैं तो 'पैनल' पर समय अदूर्श्य हो जायेगा

"L" appears on the display to let you know that CHILD LOCK is set. पैनल पर "L" आएगा ताकि आपको पता रहे कि चाइल्ड लॉक लगा है।

To cancel CHILD LOCK press and hold STOP/CLEAR until "L" disappears. You will hear BEEP when it's released. चाइल्ड लॉक को खोलने के लिये STOP/CLEAR तब तक दबा कर रखें जब तक "L" अनृष्य न हो जाये और बीप सुनाई न दें। आमका सुरक्षा ताला अब खुल गया है।

Micro Power Cooking / साइक्रो पावर कुकिंग प्रणाली

Your oven has five microwave power settings. High power is automatically selected but repeated presses of the MICRO key will select a different power level. आपके अवन में 5 पावर स्तर हैं। उच्छतम पावर स्तर का चुनाव स्वतः ही हो जाता है, परन्तु बार-बार 'माइक्रो' बटन दबा कर विभित्र पावर स्तरों का चुनाव किया जा सकता है।

Factors which affect Microwave in the following stages of cooking पाक विधि के निम्नलिखित स्तरों पर माइक्रो तरंगों को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक

I. BEFORE COOKING

1. Density of food / खाध पदार्थों का घनत्व

Light, porous food such as cakes and breads cook more quickly than heavy, dense foods such as roasts and casseroles, हल्के व रंधों (pores) वाले भोजन को, जैसे केक, ब्रेड आदि, पकने में कम समय लगता है, परन्तु अधिक घनत्व वाले भारी खाध पदाथों जैसे 'रोस्ट' और कैसराल' आदि में अभिक समय लगता है।

2. Height of food / खाध्य पदार्थों की ऊँचाई

The upper portion of tall food, particularly roasts, will cook more quickly than the lower portion. खाद्य पदार्थों के बड़े टुकड़ों के ऊपरी किनारे, विशेषकर मॉसा के, नीचे के भाग से, कम सामय में पक जाते हैं।

3. Bone and fat content of food / खाच पदाथों में वसा (fat) व हड़ी की मात्रा

Bones conduct heat and fat cooks more quickly than meat. हड्डियाँ उष्मा संचालित करती हैं और वसा (fat) पकने में, माँस से कम समय लेता है।

4. Quantity of food / खाद्य पदार्थ की मात्रा

The more food you place in the oven, the longer the cooking time. अवन में रखी गई भोजन की मात्रा जितनी बढ़ेरी उतनी भोजन पकने के समय में वृद्धि होगी।

5. Shape of food / खाद्य पदार्थ का आकार-प्रकार

Microwaves penetrate only about 2 cm into food, the interior portion of thick foods are cooked as the heat generated on the the outside travels inward. Only the outer edge of food is cooked by microwave energy; the rest is cooked by conduction. माइक्रो तरंगें भोजन को केवल 2 cm अन्दर तक ही भेद साकती है। इससे मोटा या चौड़ा खाथ पदार्थ, बाहरी सातह के निकट वाले खण्डों से संचालित उष्भा द्वारा ही पकता है। खाथ के केवल बाहरी किनारे ही माइक्रो तरंगों की ऊर्जा से पकते है, बाकी का भाग उष्भा के संचालन द्वारा ही पकता है।

II. DURING COOKING

1. Covering / आवरण

A cover traps heat and steam which causes food to cook more quickly. ढ़क्कन, भाप व उष्मा को अन्दर ही रोक कर रखता है। इससे भोजन जल्दी पकता है।

2. Browning / भूरा या कुरकुरा करना

Meats and poultry that are cooked fifteen minutes or longer will brown lightly in their own fat. मॉस या मुर्गे के टूकड़े, जिन्हें 15 पिं ० से अधिक समय के लिये पकाया गया हो, अपनी ही चर्बी में भूरे हो जायेंगे।

3. Arranging and spacing / भोजन को तरतीब से सखना व खाली स्थान छोड़ना

It will heat more evenly if if placed in the oven on equal distance apart, preferably in a circular pattern. Never stack foods on top of one another. समरूप से गर्म करने के लिये, अवन में समान दुरी पर गोलाई में रखें। भोजन को कमी भी देरी के रूप में न रखें।

4. Stirring / हिलाना

Stir in order to spread and redistribute heat. Always stir from the outside towards the centre as the outside of the food heats first. उम्मा को फैलाने और पुनर्वितारित करने के लिए खाने को हिलाएं। हमेशा बाहर से अंदर की तरह छोलना चाहिए क्यौकि बाहर का पदार्थ पहले गर्म होता है।

5. Turning over / पलटना

Large, tall foods such as roots and whole chickens should be turned so that the top and bottom will cook evenly. खाने के बड़े और लम्बे ट्रकड़ों जौसे जाड़े एवं सम्पूर्ण चिकन; को पलट कर भूगे से समानता लाई जा सकती है।

6. Shielding / ढकना

Strips of aluminium foil (which block microwaves) can be placed over the corners or edges of square and rectangular foods to prevent those portions from overcooking. एल्यूनियम फाँड़ल का इस्तेमाल पदार्थे के जलने को बवारी है।

III. AFTER COOKING

1. Standing time / स्टेणिंग टाइम

Foods are often allowed to stand for 3 to 10 minutes after being removed from the microwave oven. Usually the foods are covered during standing time to retain heat unless they are supposed to be dry in texture (some cakes and biscuits, for example). Standing allows foods to finish cooking and also helps flavour blend and develop. व्यंजन पकने के बाद 3 से 10 मिनट ड़ककर रखना पकने की प्रक्रिया समाप्त करने में मदद करता है। इस अवधि को स्टैण्डिंग टाइम कहते हैं। यह व्यंजन के रूप को बरकरार रखने में मददगार होता है।

Two stage Cooking / दो करणों सैं थोजन पकाना

During two stage cooking the oven door can be opened and food checked. Close the oven door and press START and the cooking stage will continue.

दो चरणों में भोजन पकाते समय आप अवन खोल कर भोजन जौच सकते हैं। अवन का द्वार बन्द करें और 'स्टार्ट' दबा दें। भोजन पकाने की प्रक्रिया पुनः आरम्भ हो जायेगी।

At the end of stage 1, BEEP sounds and stage 2 commences.

चरण 1 समाप्त होने पर बीप बजेगी और चरण 2 शुरू हो जाएगा।

Should you wish to clear the programme press STOP/CLEAR twice.

यदि आप निर्देश मिटाना चाहें तो STOP/CLEAR दो बार दबा दें।

Grill Cooking / प्रिल द्वारा भोजन पक्राना

This model is fitted with a SHEATH GRILL, so preheating is not needed.

इस मशीन में 'शीथ प्रिल' का प्रयोग किया गया है जिसे पहले से गर्म करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं होती।

This feature will allow you to brown and crisp food quickly.

यह ग्रिल आपके खाध्य पदाथों को शींग्र भूरा व कुरकुरा कर देगी।

The grill rack can be used in two positions - high or low, depending on food type and size.

ग्रिल रैक आप दो स्थितियों में प्रयोग कर सकते हैं – लो या हाई । इसका चयन खाद्य पदार्थों के आकार-प्रकार पर निर्भर करेगा ।

The grill rack (high rack) must be used during grill cooking.

ग्रिल कुकिंग करते समय ग्रिल रैक (हाई) अवश्य प्रयोग करें।

Convection Cooking / अन्देक्षण इरा श्रोजन वकान्य

The convection oven has a temperature range of 40 °C and 100 °C\~250 °C (180 °C is automatically available when convection mode is selected).

कन्वैक्शन अवन में तापमान सीमा 40 °C और 100 °C \~ 250 °C है (180 °C स्वतः सैट है जब कन्वैक्शन सैट करते है)।

The oven has a ferment function at the oven temperature of 40 °C . You may wait until the oven is cool because you cannot use a ferment function if the oven temperature is over 40 °C .

अवन में दही जमाने की सुविधा है । आप अवन के ठंडा होने तक प्रतीक्षा करें व्यांकि 40℃ से ऊपर तापमान होने पर दही नहीं जमा सकते ।

Your oven will take a few minutes to reach the selected temperature. Once it has reached correct temperature, your oven will BEEP to let you know that it has reached the correct temperature. Then place your food in your oven; then tell your oven to start cooking. आपका अवन निश्चित तापमान पर पहुंचने में कुछ मिनट लेंगा। जब यह निश्चित तापमान पर पहुंचेगा तो बीप बजेगी और आपको पता लगेगा कि अवन में सही तापमान है। अब आप अवन में भोजन रखिए और पकाना शुरू कीजिए।

If you do not set a temperature your oven will automatically select 180^ C. The cooking temperature can be changed by turning the Dial key.

The convection rack (low rack) must be used during convection cooking.

Combination Cooking / कोम्बिनेशन द्वारा थोजन पक्राना

Your oven has a combination cooking feature which allows you to cook food with heater and microwave at the same time alternately. This generally means it takes less time to cook your food. आपके अवन में यह सुबिधा इस लिये प्रदान की गई है ताकि आप इसके प्रयोग से भोजन को हौटर व माइक्रोवेव द्वारा एक ही सामय में बारी बारी से पका सर्के। सामान्यत: इसका अर्थ होता है कि भोजन पकने में लगने वाले समय की बचत।

You can set three kinds of micro power level (20%, 40% and 60%) in combi mode. आप कॉम्बी मोड में तीन प्रकार के माइक्रो पावर स्तर (20%, 40% और 60%) चुन सकते हैं।

While cooking you can extend the cooking time at any point by pressing MORE/LESS key. There is no need to stop the cooking process.

Auto Cook allows you to cook most of your favourite food easily by selecting the food type and entering the weight of the food. Auto Cook आपके मनपसन्द व्यंजन बडी आसानी बनाता है। आपको सिर्फ व्यंजन का प्रकार और उसका वजन भरना है।

• The benefit of this Auto Defrost feature is automatic setting and control of defrosting, but just like conventional defrosting you must check the food during the defrosting time.
• ऑटो डिफ्रॉस्ट से डिफ्रॉस्टिंग विधि का संवालन स्वयंचालित और नियंत्रित होता है। फिर मी आपके निरीक्षण का महत्व कम नहीं होता।
• Remove outer shell or packing while defrosting.
• अच्छे डिफ्रॉस्तिंग के लिए पैकिंग या बाठरी आवरण निकाल कर पदार्थ को डिफ्रॉस्त कीजिए।
• Place foods in a shallow glass baking dish to catch drippings.
  ● भोजन को उथली कॉच की ट्रे में बूंदों को इकढ़ा करने के लिए रखें।
  ● Food should still be some what icy in the centre when removed from the oven.
• डिफ्रॉस्टिंग के बाद पदार्थ अंदर से थोड़ी मात्रा में बर्फीला होना वाहिए।
• When it is difficult to remove the wrap from the food, defrost the wrapped food for about a quarter of the total defrost time, which is displayed at the beginning of the defrost cycle. Then remove the food from the oven and remove the wrap from the food.
  ● अगर पैकिंग या बाहरी आवरण पहले ही आसानी से ना निकले तो एक्च चतुर्थ अवधि के बाद पदार्थ बाहर निकाल कर पैकिंग या आवरण निकालें, यह आसान होगा।
• Sliced bread should be placed between sheets of kitchen towel and bread rolls should be cut in half before defrosting.

Auto Roast helps in browning and efficient grilling of the food (preferably for non veg) / Auto Roast खाने को भूरा करने और विशेष रूप से ग्रिल करने में सहायता करता है।

NOTE : The time variation during Cooking of recipe depends upon the ingredients, method adopted & type of food category. व्यंजन बनाने के दौरान, समय परिवर्तन खाने के तत्व या अंश, बनाने की विधि और खाने की श्रेणी पर निर्भर करता है।

1. ROASTED PAPAD : Apply little amount of water evenly on the both side of papad. Put the papad on tissue paper on glass tray properly arranged. Use quick start select 0.5-1.5 minute depending on no. of papad. After Roasting remove papad stand for a minute to gain its crispyness. मुने हुए पापड़ - पापड़ के दोगो तरफ को गौला करें। पापड़ को टिश्ज पेपर के ऊपर रखकर काँच की द्रे पर रखे। पापड़ की संख्या पर quick start को 0.5-1.5 मिं के लिए रखें। एक मिं के लिए भुने हुए पापड़ को इसके कुरकुरे होने तक रखें।

1. POP CORN : Place the pop corn bag to the low rack properly as instructed on packing. Use Quick start to set 3\~4 minutes. remove the bag after popping sound has stopped. Take care that bag corners do not touch sides while rotating. (Note: Attend popping process carefully. Do not overheat as cause flash fire.) POP CORN : Pop Corn का बैग नीचले rack पर रखें। quick start को 3\~4 मि० के लिए रखें। बैग को हटा ले जब तक भुनने की आवाज खत्न हो जाए। ध्याने रखें कि बैग के किनारे को न छुएं। नोट · मुनाने की क्रिया को ध्यानपुर्वक देखें। ज्याचा न भुने क्यॉकि इसमे आग लग साकती है।

1. FRENCH FRIES : Brush Sliced potato fingers with oil and spread potato product out on the metal tray on glass tray. Use Grill Combination for 3 Minutes at 40% Microwave power. Then change the layer of potato and again cook for 3 Minutes on same combination. After cooking remove from the oven and let stand for 1 to 2 Minutes. प्रेन्च प्राईज - करेट हुए आलू को तेल से गीला करें। कौच की द्रें पर धातु की द्रें रखकर ऊपर आलू के उत्पादों को फैला दें। 40% माइक्रोवेव पावर पर प्रिल कोम्बोनेशन 3 मिनट के लिए सैट करें। 3 मिनट के बाद आलू की तह को बदले और किर 3 मिनट के लिए पकायें। पकने के बाद ओवन से निकाल लें। 1\~2 मिनट तक बना के रखें।

Clean your Oven / अबन को साफ करना

1 Keep the inside of the oven clean

Food spatters or spilled liquids stick to oven walls and between seal and door surface. It is best to wipe up spillovers with a damp cloth right away. Crumbs and spillovers will absorb microwave energy and lengthen cooking times. Use a damp cloth to wipe out crumbs that fall between the door and the frame. It is important to keep this area clean to assure a tight seal. Remove energy spatters with a soapy cloth then rinse and dry. Do not use harsh detergent or abrasive cleaners. The glass tray can be washed by hand or in the diswahser. अवन की दराज (cavity) की साफ रखें। खाद्य पदार्थ की छौटें या जल पदार्थ का गिरना आम बात है इसलिए दराज को गीले कपड़े से साफ करें। दरवाजा अंदर की तरफ से पूरी तरह साफ रखना चाहिए जिसासे उसके बंद होने में कोई परेशानी न हो।

2 Keep the outside of the oven clean / अवन को बाहर से साफ रखना

Clean the outside of your oven with soap and water then with clean water and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, the water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings. To clean control panel, open the door to prevent oven from accidentally starting, and wipe a damp cloth followed immediately by a dry cloth. Press STOP/CLEAR after cleaning. पहले गीले कपड़े से साफ करके तुरंत सूख्ये कपड़े से पोँछ लेना चाहिए। सफाई में साबुन का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं परंतु पानी अंदर न जाए. इसकी सावधानी रखें।

3 If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe the panels with a soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and in no way indicates a malfunction of the unit.

दरवाजे पर जमी भाप को नरम कपड़े से पोँछ लेना चाहिए।

4 The door and door seals should be kept clean. Use only warm, soapy water, rinse then dry thoroughly.

DO NOT USE ABRASIVE MATERIALS, SUCH AS CLEANING POWDERS OR STEEL AND PLASTIC PADS.

Metal parts will be easier to maintain if wiped frequently with a damp cloth.
