Disposal of your old appliance (as per e-waste Rules)

1. When this crossed out wheeled bin symbol is depicted on the product and its operator's manual, it means the product is covered by the e-waste Management and Handling Rules, 2011 and are meant to be recycled, dismantled, refurbished or disposed off.

2. Do's

a. The product is required to be handed over only to the authorized recycler for disposal. b. Keep the product in isolated area, after it becomes non-functional / unrepairable so as to prevent its accidental breakage.

Don'ts

a. The product should not be opened by the user himself/herself, but only by authorized service personnel.
b. The product is not meant for re-sale to any unauthorized agencies/scrap dealer/kabariwalah.
c. The product is not meant for mixing into household waste stream.
d. Do not keep any replaced spare part(s) from the product in exposed area.

1. Any disposal through unauthorized agencies/person will attract action under Environment (Protection) Act 1986.

2. Hazards of improper handling or accidental breakage

a. The refrigerant (R134a) used, if overexposed, might cause dizziness and loss of concentration. Liquid contact can cause irritation and frostbite. The refrigerant(R600a), squirting out of the pipes could ignite or cause eye injury.
b. The blowing agent cyclopentane is highly flammable liquid and vapor. Harmful to aquatic life. Contact with liquid may cause cold burns / frost bites. Repeated exposure causes skin dryness.

अपने पुराने उपकरण का निपटान (उत्याद ई-अपशिष्ट के अनुसार)

1. जाब इस काटे गये गहिये वाले बिना की चिधन किसी उपकरण और उसके आपरेटर की पुरित्का के राथ संलग्न होता हैं तो इरका अर्थ है ई-अपशिष्ट (प्रबंधन और हथालन) नियम 2011 के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित किया गया है, और इसका मतलब यह है नजीनीकरण करना, ताहस-नहस करना, सुनिशित कर रो है है।
2. करें- क- उपकरण को सिर्फ अधिकृत पुन: नयीनीकरणकता अधिकारी को निपटारण करने हेतु हस्तान्तरित करें।

ख- जेब उपकरण कार्यरत न हो तो इरो अलग क्षेत्र में रखें ताकि इसरो होने वाली दुर्घटनाओं से बचा जा सके।

क— इस उपकरण को स्वयं/खुद नही खोलना चाहिए! उपकरण को केवल अधिकृता अधिकारी के द्वारा ही खोला जाना चाहिए।
ख-इसका मतलब यह नही है कि उपकरण को गुन: बिक्री के लिए किसी भी अनाधिक्त रांस्था /भंगार-वाला / कबार्डीवाला को न दें।
ग- इस उपकरण का नतलब यह बिल्कुल नही हैं कि इसे किसी घरेजू सागान के साथ निलाकर रख दें।
घ— उजागर क्षेत्र में अतिरिक्त पुर्जों को नही बदलना चाहिए।
3. यदि किसी अनाधिकृत विभाग या व्यक्ति के द्वारा निपटरण किया जाता है तो यह पयांवरण (सुरक्षा) घारा 1986 के अन्त्रगंत आता है।
4. दूर्घटनाग्रस्त टूट फूट तथा अव्यवस्थित रख-रखाव से बचाव ।
क-रेफीजरेन्ट (R134a) यदि सापर्क में अधिक आता है तों, चककर आना व एकाप्रता में बाधा उपन्न हो सकती है, तरल पदार्थ का सीधा सम्पर्क, शीतदंश व जलन का कारण हो सकता है। इसी प्रकार रेफीजरेन्ट (R600a) का पाईपों से रिसाव होने से आय लग सकती है तथा ऑँबे भी खराब हो सकती है।
ख— साइक्वलोपेन्देन अत्यन्त ज्वलनशील तरल व वाष्पीय होने के कारण उद्धित जीवन के लिए काफी नुक्सान देह हो सकता है। तरल पदार्थ के सम्पर्क में आने पर ठण्डी जलन तथा बार बार सम्पर्क में आने से ल्वचा शुष्क ह सकती है।

If gas used is R600a

* R600a गैस का प्रयोग किये गए रेफ्रिजरेटर के लिए सुरक्षा संबंधी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी -

This appliance contains a small amount of isobutane refrigerant (R600a), natural gas with high environmental compatibility, but it is also combustible. When transporting and installing the appliance, care should be taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit are damaged. Refrigerant squirting out of the pipes could ignite or cause an eye injury. If a leak is detected, avoid any naked flames or potential sources of ignition and ventilate the room in which the appliance is installed for several minutes.

In order to avoid the creation of a flammable gas air mixture if a leak in the refrigerating circuit occurs, the size of the room in which the appliance may be installed depends on the amount of refrigerant used. The room must be 1m² in size for every 8g of R600a refrigerant inside the appliance. The amount of refrigerant in your particular appliance is shown on the label on the back of the appliance.

Never start up an appliance showing any signs of damage. If any doubt, consult your dealer.

इस उपकरण में (आइसोब्यूटेन R600a) का प्रयोग किया गया है । यह प्राकृतिक गैस उच्च पर्यविरण अनुकुलीत है, परंतु ये दहनशील भी है । परिवाहन और स्थापना करते समय सुनिश्चीत करें, की रेफ्रिजरेंट सर्किट का कोई भी हिस्सा क्षतिग्रस्त ना हो, यह होने से रेफ्रिजरेंट लीक हो सकता है जिसे आग लगने की संभावना या ऑँखें क्षतिग्रस्त हो सकती है । यदी किसी भी प्रकार के रिसाव का पता चलें तो आग और कोई भी इनिशन ख्रोत को टूर रखें और रेफ्रिजरेटर की पासवाली जगह को खुली रखें ।

यदी रेफ्रिजरेटर लिक होता है, तो गैस और हवा के मिश्रण को रोखने के लिए कमरे का एस्थिया 1m/8gms (R600a) होनी घाहिए । रेफ्रिजरेटर की मात्रा उपकरण के पीछे लगे लेबल पर दर्शायी गई हैं । किसी भी प्रकार के नुकसान होने के लक्षण पर उपकरण को शुरू ना करें और समस्या होने पर डिलर से सम्पर्क करें ।

• When gas is leaked, do not touch the refrigerator or the outlet and ventilate the room immediately. जब गैस का सिसाव हो, तो रेफ्रिजरेटर या आउट्लेट को न छुएं और कमरे में तुरंत हवा आने-जाने दें ।
• Natural Gas (isobutene, R600a) is an environment-friendly refrigerant, even a small amount (30\~90g) is combustible. When the gas is leaked due to severe damage during delivering, installing or using the refrigerator, any spark may cause fire or burn. गैस (R600a) – चूकि इस रेफ्रिजरेटर में पर्यावरण को नुकसान न पहुचाने वाले रेफ्रिजरेटर के रूप में प्राकृतिक गैस (आइसोब्यूटेन R600a) का प्रयोग किया जाता है, इसलिए धोडी मात्रा (30\~90 प्रा.) भी ज्वलनशील होती है । जब्र रेफ्रिजरेटर की डिलीवरी करने, संस्थापित करने या उसका इस्तेमाल करने के दौरान गंभीर क्षति के कारण गैस का रिसाव होता है, तो किसी भी चिंगारी से आग लग सकती है या आप जल सकते हैं ।

- Do not use or store inflammable materials like ether, benzene, alcohol, medicine, LP gas, spray or cosmetics near in, or on the refrigerator. रेफ्रिजरेटर के पास्त या अंदर ज्वलनशील पदार्थ ईधर, बैजीन, अल्कोहल, दवा, एलपी गैस, स्प्रे या कॉस्मोटिक्स का प्रयोग या भंडारण न करें । It may cause explosion or fire.

इससे विस्फोट हो सकता है या आग लग सकती है ।

- When any strange smell or smoke is detected from the refrigerator, disconnect the power plug immediately and contact the service center. जब रेफ्रिजरेटर से किसी अजीबं गंघ या धुआं निकलने का पता चले, तो पाँवर प्लग को तुरंत अलग कर दें और सर्विस सेंटर से संपर्क करें।

It may cause fire.

इससे आग लग सकती है ।

WARNING / चेतावनी

• Do not modify or extend the Power Cord length.
  पावर कोर्ड की लम्बाई में रूपान्तरण या वृद्धि न करें। It will cause electric shock or fire.

बच्चों के फँसने से बचाने के लिए चेतावनी

An empty refrigerator can be a dangerous attraction to children. Remove gaskets, latches, lids or the entire door from your unused appliance, or take some other action to make it harmless.

एक खाली रेफ्रिजरेटर बच्यों के लिए खतरनाक आकर्षण हो सकता है। गैसकेट, सिटकनी, ढककन या अप्रयुक्त मशीन का सम्पूर्ण दरवाजा हटा दें या इसे हानिरहित बनाने के लिए कोई दूसरा उपाय करें।

- Never store chemicals inside and explosives near the Refrigerator, such as Gas Cylinder etc.

रेफ्रिजरेटर के अन्दर रसायनिक पदार्थ और पास में विस्फोटक जैसे गैस सिलिंडर कभी न रखें।

It may cause explosion or fire. इससे विस्फोट हो सकता है या आग लग सकती है।

- Unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

सफाई या मरम्मत करते समय उपकरण का प्लग निकाल दें। It may cause electric shock or injury. इससे विद्युत आघात लग सकता है या क्षिति हो सकती है।

- Never place glass products in the freezer. कभी भी काँच के उत्पाद फ्रीजर में ना रखें। It may cause explosion due to expansion when the contents are frozen.

सामग्री के विस्तार के कारण विस्फोट हो सकता है।

- Do not keep any hot or heavy object (more than 5 kgs) or lit candles or put stabilizers on the top/inside of refrigerator.

कोई भी गर्म भारी सामग्री (5 किलो से अधिक) या जलती शोमबती या स्टेबिलाइजर्स फ्रिज के ऊपर/अन्दर ना रखें। It may cause fire, injury or damage. ये आग, चौट या क्षाति का कारण हो सकते हैं।

- When the power cord or the power plug is damaged or the holes of the outlet are loosed, do not use them.

जब पावर कोर्ड या पावर प्लग क्षतिग्रस्त हो या आउटलेट का छिद्र ढीला हो तो उनका इस्तेमाल न करें।

- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

निर्माता द्वारा सुझाए गये उपायों के अतिरिक्त डिफ्रांस्टिंग प्रक्रिया को तेज करने के लिए किसी यांत्रिक युक्ति या अन्य तरकीब का प्रयोग न करें।

- Do not keep any other electrical appliance on top/inside of refrigerator such as TV, Cooler, Temple, Decoration Lighting, Harmful Chemicals, Cloth Top etc.

कोई अन्य विद्युत उपकरण जैसे टीवी, कृलर, पुजा-घर, सजावटी लाइट, हानिकारक रसायन, कपड़े का टाँप इत्यादि रेफ्रिजरेटर के ऊपर/अन्दर न रखें।

It may cause explosion or fire. इससे विरफोट हो सकता है या आग लग सकती है।

- Do not place the heavy object or the dangerous object (container with liquid) on the refrigerator.

रेफ्रिजरेटर के ऊपर भारी सामान या कोई खतरनाक वस्तु (पानी का बर्तन) न रखें। It may be dropped to cause injury, fire or

electric shock when opening or closing the door.

रेफ्रिजरेटर का दरवाजा खोलते या बन्द करते समय वह गिर सकता है जिसारो क्षति, आग या विध्युत आधात लग सकता है।

• In order to prevent possible electric shock, this appliance must be earthed. (about earthing) सम्भावित विधुत आघात को रोकने के लिए इस उपकरण की पूर्णतः अर्थिंग होनी चाहिए। (अर्थिंग के सम्बंध में)

In the event of an electric short circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. Improper use of the earthing plug can result in an electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service person if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if you have doubts on whether the appliance is properly earthed.

इलैक्ट्रिक शॉर्ट सर्किट की घटना में विद्युत धारा के लिए एस्केष वायर लगाकर अर्थिंग विद्युत आघात की जोखिम को कम करता है। अर्थिंग प्ल्नग का अनुचित प्रयोग से विद्युत आयात लग साकता हैं। यदि ग्राण्डिंग निर्देश पूर्णत: सरमझा में नईी आयाँ हैं. उपकरण की पूर्ण अर्थिंग में कोई संदेह हो तो प्रशिक्षित इलैक्ट्रिशियन से सेलाह लें।

• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
  उपकरण के खाद्य भण्डारण कम्पार्टमेंट में विद्युत उपकरणों का प्रयोग न करें जब तक कि निर्माता द्वारा न सुझाया गया हो।

- Keep the ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built - in structure, clear of obstruction.

उपकरण के निर्माण के समय रूकावटी वस्तुओं को हटा दें तथा वेन्टीलेशन को खुला रखें।

- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. रेफ्रिजरेंट सर्किट को क्षति न पहुँचाएँ

To prevent injury to the user and property damage, the following instructions must be followed. Incorrect operation due to ignoring of instruction will cause harm or damage, the seriousness is classified by the following indications.

उपभोक्ताओं और मशीन को हानि गा हो इसके लिए निम्नालिखित निर्देशों का पालन करें। निर्देशों का पालन सावधानी से ना करने पर निम्न हानियाँ हो सकती हैं।

Do not modify power cord length or share the outlet with other appliances.मशीन की तार की लम्बाई को ना बदले ओर पावर साकेट मे एक ही प्लग लगायें।	Do not operate with wet hands or in damp environment.गीले हाथो से व नर्मी मे इसे इस्तेमाल ना करें।	Do not splash water on your refrigerator.रेफ्रिजरेटर पर पानी ना डाले।

Plug in the power socket properly.प्लग को पाँवर सॉकेट मेंसावधानी से लगायें।	Operate or stop the unit by switch only.मशीन को चलाने और रोकने के लिए स्विच का ही प्रयोग करें।	Do not use a damaged or an unspecified power cord.पुरानी और लोकल पावर कोर्ड का इस्तेमाल ना करें।

CAUTION / सावधानी

During Vacations

During average length vacations, you will probably find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation. Place freezable items in freezer for longer life. When you plan to be away for an extended period, remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave each door OPEN to prevent odour formation. To operate again, let the refrigerator run for 6-8 hrs. for stabilization.

अवकाश के दौरान

औसतन छछियों के दौरान सबसे अच्छा रहेगा कि आप रेफ्रिजरेटर को चलता रहने दें। फ्रिजेबल सामानों को फ्रिजर में लम्बी अवधि के लिए रख दें। जब आप लम्बे समय के लिए बाहर हों तो सभी खाद्य पदार्थाँ को निकाल लें तथा विध्युत तार को निकाल दें। आन्तरिक रूप से पूरी सफाई करें और प्रत्येक दरवाजे को खोल दें, जिससे दुर्गन्ध न हो। दुबारा ऑपरेट करने के लिए, रेफ्रिजरेटर को 6-8 घंटे तक चलता रहने दें।

Shifting

While shifting the refrigerator, two people should carry it for its safety. Fasten the door with tape or lock to prevent opening of the refrigerator.

स्थानान्तरण

रेफ्रिजरेटर को स्थानान्तरित करते समय सुरक्षार्थ कम से कम दो आदमी लगने चाहिए। दरवाजे को टेप से अच्छी तरह बाँध दें या लॉक लगा दें ताकि वह स्थानान्तरित करते समय खूल ना जाएं।

Always remove Gasket when discarding Refrigerator / रेफ्रिजरेटर को छोड़ने से पहले गैसकेट को निकाल लें।

Cleaning (Use only non-inflammable cleaners)

Cleaning of Interior Parts is recommended. Wash all compartments with a mild baking soda solution, then rinse and dry the compartment. Use a lukewarm solution of mild soap or detergent to clean the exterior finish of your refrigerator. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and then dry.

सफाई (हमेशा अज्पलनशील क्लीनर्स का इस्तेमाल करें)

सभी आन्तरिक भागों की सफाई की सलाह दी जाती है। सोडा के घोल से सभी भागों को धोएं तथा साफ कपड़े से पोँछ कर सुखा लैं। रेफ्रिजरेटर की बाहरी सफाई के लिए मन्द साबुन या डिंटर्जेंट के गुनगुंने घोल का प्रयोग करें। फिर साफ-सुथरे एवं भीगे हुए कपड़े से पोँछकर सुखाएं।

- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance. इन उपकरणों में विस्फोटक पदार्थ जैसे कि ज्वलनशील प्रणोदक वाले एयरोसोल के डिब्बे इत्यादि न रखें।

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

यह उपकरण उन व्यक्तियों (बच्चों सहित) के लिए उपयोगी नहीं है जो कम शारीरिक, संवेदी या मानसिक क्षमताओं वाले हैं या उनमें अनुभव एवं ज्ञान की कमी है, जब तक कि उनको उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए जिम्मेदार व्यक्ति द्वारा उपकरण के उपयोग से सम्बन्धित पर्यवेक्षण या निर्देश न दें।

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि बच्चे उपकरण के साथ नहीं खेलेंगे, बच्चों को निगरानी में रखना चाहिए।
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. यदि विद्युत आपूर्ति कोर्ड क्षितिग्रस्त है तो खतरे से बचने के लिए उसको निर्माता, सर्विस एजेट या समान योग्यता वाले व्यक्ति द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाना चाहिए।

Installation

Refrigerator should be located properly in ventilated area.

Levelling of refrigerator should be done with front legs. Refrigerator should be levelled with front to back inclination for base.

रेफ्रिजरेटर को सही तरह से हवादार जगह पर रखें।

रेफ्रिजरेटर के स्तर को निश्चित करने के लिए कम या अधिक करने वाले पैरों की सहायता लेनी चाहिए। इसको जमीन पर सुस्थिर करने के लिए इस प्रकार व्यवस्थित करना चाहिए कि यह थोड़ा सा आगे से पीछे की ओर झुका हो।

Identification of Control

Use electrical connection with 3-pin for earthing.

Before loading, let refrigerator run for 12 hrs. in No. 4 position.

Operating Procedure

DEFROSTING : It is natural for moisture in their air to condense on the cold surface. This leads to a regular build up of frost on the surface of the freezer. Defrost regularly to avoid heavy frost building on the evaporator which results in reduced cooling efficiency.

डीफ्रॉस्ट कैसे करें: हवा में मौजूद नमी का ठंडी सतह पर जमना स्वाभाविक है. इसलिए फ्रिजर की सतह पर बर्फ जमती रहती है। बर्फ की जमावट के कारण कम ठंडक उतपन्न होती है और क्षमता घट जाती है। इसलिए इसे नियमिति रूप से डिफ्रॉस्ट करें।

Push the defrost Knob after every 3 days / Ice Level reaches defrost indicator.

Lamp Replacement / लैम्प विस्थापन

NOTE

- Not all appliance bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be sure to replace the bulb with one of the same size, shape and wattage.

आपके रेफ्रिजरेटर में सभी बल्ब फिट नहीं होते। बदले जाने वाले बल्ब का आकार, आकृति और वाटेज जाँच लें।

  • Make sure the bulbs are cool to touch.

• Remove the lamp by turning it counterclockwise.

How to get good results

Cover or wrap all foods that you put into your refrigerator with polythene or aluminium foil, preventing the mixing of flavours and to keep the food from drying.

Don't keep hot milk or hot food in your refrigerator.

This will result in an increased temperature and increase in power consumption.

Do not leave refrigerator open for long time. Don't open the refrigerator door too often, hot air will enter and increase the temperature.

Never overload your refrigerator or cover the shelves with paper or plastic sheets as it will reduce its efficiency.

Close the door properly, make sure that there is no gap between the gasket and the cabinet of your LG refrigerator.

Wipe excessive moisture on food or place it inside containers or plastic bags. This will help in retaining its freshness for a longer period of time.

It is recommended to use Voltage Stabilizer (0.5kVA) if power fluctuations are frequent and out of specified voltage range (135-290V) ^** , Stabilizer usage increases the refrigerator life.

यदि बिजली बार-बार कम या ज्यादा आ रही है या निर्दिष्ट वोल्टेज क्षमता (135-290V) ^** से भिन्न है तो यह सलाह दी जाती है कि वोल्टेज स्टेबिलाइजर (0.5kVA) का प्रयोग करें। स्टेबिलाइजर का इस्तेमाल रेफ्रिजरेटर की उम्र बढ़ाता है।

Before Calling for Service / समस्या - समाधान

Type of Complaint Probable Cause

1. Refrigerator does not work.	– Thermostat switch in 'OFF' position.	Check that the thermostat knob is on 'Normal' (No.4) position and not in OFF position.
	– Power Supply Off.	Check that the refrigerator main supply plug is connected to the wall socket and that the supply is ON. Check that the fuse is intact in the supply line.
	– Stabilizer not working properly	Please plug power cord of refrigerator directly in the wall socket and then check, if it works then get the stabilizer checked by Stabilizer Repairing Centre.
2. Refrigerator attempts to start, but does not operate.	– Low Voltage.	Install a line-correcting transformer in the mains, or a Voltage Stabilizer.
3. Refrigerator contents not cooling.	– Defrosting over due	Defrost the refrigerator.
And Difficulty in formation of ice and ice-cream.	– Restriction of cold air circulation.	Provide space in between the dishes. If the shelves are covered with cloth or polythene, remove it.
	– Improper thermostat control selection.	If the refrigerator is required to give a low temperature turn the thermostat knob towards colder (No.7) position.
	– Storing hot foods.	Avoid storing hot foods in the refrigerator, cool them to room temperature before placing them inside the refrigerator.
4. Formation of water drops on exterior of refrigerator.	– High humidity during monsoon season.	During the monsoon, when the humidity in the atmosphere reaches around 90% water droplets may form around the sides of the refrigerator cabinet, especially the top portion. This moisture should be wiped off periodically. Contact our serviceman to check the door seal or proper and uniform contact with the cabinet.
5. Formation of droplets on the underside of the Chiller tray.	– Hot and humid climate.	In hot and humid weather the moist air rushes inside whenever the refrigerator door is opened. This results in excess frosting on the Evaporator and condensation on the Chiller tray bottom. Avoid too frequent door openings.
6. Smell and odour.	– Improper covering and wrapping of food.	Wrap and cover food stuffs properly. Place caps on bottles and other liquid stores. If the smell persists, defrost the refrigerator, remove all foodstuffs, clean the refrigerator thoroughly and wipe it dry before restarting.
7. Noise	– Normal cut-off/ cut-in noise	Whenever refrigerator starts & stop there is noise of Thermostat cut-off/ cut-in & Compressor start/stop. This is a normal phenomenon.
8. Noise from Freezer	– Hissing noise from Freezer	This is normal gas expansion noise
9. Bulb does not glow	– Bulb fused	Bulb is not covered under warranty LG Service Engineer will replace this on cost basis.

	- स्टेबिलाइजर ठीक तरहसे काम नहीं कर रहा	रेफ्रिजरेटरु को सीघे बाँल साँकेट से जोड़े और फ्जिर देखें, यदि बिना स्टेबिलाइजर के राही कामकर रहा है तो स्टेबिलाइजर खराब है। इसकी जांच कराए।
2. रेफ्रिजरेटर चालू होनेलगता है पर कामनहीं करता	- कम वोल्टेज	मेन्स में लाईन - करेक्टिंग ट्रांसफॉर्मर लगाएं या वोल्टेज स्टेबिलाईजर का इस्तेमाल करें।
3. रेफ्रिजरेटर में रखीसामग्री ठंढी नहीं होतीऔरबर्फ और आइसाक्रीमबनने में कठिनाई	- वत्त पर डीफॉस्टिंग नहींकी गई, ठंढी हवा केप्रवाह में रुकावट- गलत थर्मॉस्टेटनियंत्रण का चयन- गर्म भोजन का भंडारण	रेफ्रिजरेटर को डीफॉस्ट कीजिए, बर्तनों के बीचजगह बनाइए, शेल्फ कपड़े या पोलिथीन से ढकीहो तो उन्हें हटा वीजिए।अगर रेफ्रिजरेटर को कम तापमान पर रखना जरुरीहो तो थर्मॉस्टेट नाँब को ठंढी स्थिति (न.7) में घुमाएं।
4. रेफ्रिजरेटर के बाहरपानी की बूर्दें जमना	- मानसूनी मौसम के कारणअत्यधिक आर्दता	गर्म पदार्थे रेफ्रिजरेटर में रखने से बर्चे। रेफ्रिजरेटर में भंडारण से पहले उन्हें कमरे केतापमान तक ठंढा कर लें।मानसून के मौसम में जबकि बातावरण में आर्दता 90% तक हो जाती है तो रेफ्रिजरेटर कीबगल में, खास तौर पर ऊपरी हिससे में पानी की बूर्दें जम सकती हैं, इस नमी को समय-समय पर साफ करना चाहिए। हमारे सर्विस प्रतिनिधि को बुलाकर ये जांच करवा लीजिएकि दरवाजे केबिनेट के साथ एक समान संपर्क में हैं और अच्छी तरह बंद होते हैं।
5. चिलर ट्रू के नीचे बूर्दोंका निर्माण होना	- गर्म और आर्द्र मौसम	गर्म और आर्द्र मौसम में जब भी रेफ्रिजरेटर का दरवाजा खोला जाता है तो नम हवा अंदरप्रवेश कर जाती है. इससे इवापरेटर पर अत्यधिक प्रॉस्ट जम जाती है और चिलर ट्रू केनीचे बूर्दें बन जाती हैं. इसलिए बार-बार दरवाजा न खोलें।
6. बर्फ और दुर्ग्ध	- खाद्य पदार्थ ठीक से ढकेऔर लपेटे नहीं गए	खाद्य पदार्थों को अच्छी तरह ढक कर और लपेट कर रखें. तरल पदार्थों को बोततों औरदूसरे पात्रों पर ढक्कन लगाकर रखें। फिर भी गंघ आए तो रेफ्रिजरेटर से सब सामग्रीनिकाल लें, डीफॉस्ट करें, अच्छी तरह साफ करें और फिर चालू करने से पहले सूखने दें।
7. आवाज	- सामान्य रूप सेरेफ्रिजरेटर के बंद/चालूहोने की आवाज	थर्मॉस्टेट और कम्भैशर के चालू/बंद होने के कारण रेफ्रिजरेटर चालू/बंद होता रहता हैजिससे आवाज आती है। यह सामान्य प्रक्रिया है।
8. फ्रीजर से आवाज	- फ्रीजर से विशेष प्रकारकी आवाज	यह आवाज गैस के फैलने की वजह से आती है।
9. बल्ब का नहीं जलना	- प्यूज बल्ब	बल्ब वारंटी के अन्तर्गत नहीं आता है। LG सर्विस इंजीनियर इसकी उचित कीमत लेकरबदल देगा।

WARRANTY

The LG Refrigerator comes with 1 + 4 year warranty, from the date of purchase, that comprises of a 1 year warranty on all Parts (except Light Bulb, Consumables, Loose Plastic Parts, Glass) in the first year and there after a 4 year Additional warranty on the compressor, from the date of purchase of the product, provided always that the warranty card bears the rubber stamp, date and signature of our Authorised Dealer.

4 YEAR ADDITIONAL WARRANTY ON COMPRESSOR

The 4 year warranty on Compressor will continue even after the expiry of 1 year period from the date of purchase. This warranty covers Compressor only. Gas/Gas Charging will be charged to the customer. Gas charging is included only when compressor is defective & inoperative. During the additional warranty period, it does not cover any part such as condenser, freezer, capillary, suction line, overload protector, relay, thermostat etc.. Standard visiting charges will be applicable within the municipal limit of town where LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (LGEIL) has its Authorized Service centre, Service outside municipal limit will attract to and fro traveling, other incidental expenses in addition to standard visiting charges, as prevailing from time to time. During the warranty period, only the parts replaced or repaired shall be free of costs, but service charges shall always be payable by the customer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the Refrigerator only & is non-transferable.
2. Repairs & replacements will be carried out by the dealer from whom the product has been purchased, or through the Authorized Service Centers of LGEIL. In case the customer shifts the place of residence during warranty period, it is advised to contact Authorized Service Centre directly or call our help line.
3. Repairs under warranty shall be carried out by an authorized service personnel only. The details of centralized help lines are attached.
4. For units installed beyond municipal limits of the jurisdiction of company's Authorized Service Center, it is responsibility of the purchaser to contact the nearest authorized service center and bring the unit to the authorized service center at its own cost and risk. All expenses incurred in collecting the units or parts thereof from the company's authorized service center, as well as expenses incurred with deputizing of service personnel/technicians towards conveyance and other incidentals etc. will be borne by the customer. Local Charges for transportation and handling charges may vary from location to location. Customers are advised to verify before. In case the customer desires to bring the unit on its own to the Authorized Service Centre, the same shall be at its own risks & consequences.
5. The concerned authorized service center will advise the customer whether to effect the repairs at site or at the authorized service center.
6. Call registered with the centralized helpline/Authorized service center, wherein only cleaning of the unit/parts in the unit due to dust accumulation on portions of the unit, general explanations/returning, are not to be considered as defects.
7. In case of repairs or replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of LGEIL alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of LGEIL), the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of price equivalent at the time of purchase.
8. In case of any damage to the product / customer abuse/ repairs by un-authorised personnels/ misuse detected/ by the Authorized Service Center personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
9. This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the Refrigerator. The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
10. The company or its Authorized Service Center reserves the right to retain any part/s or component replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during warranty period.
11. While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it however is made expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
12. Warranty does not cover accessories external to the equipment supplied by the dealer.
13. If any coloured internal or external components are replaced, there will be commitment to ensure that the shades match with the original or other components. The replaced shades, patterns, tints may vary from the customer's unit due to continuous usage of the unit. Any matching components changed at customer's request will be on chargeable basis except the component which actually needed.

Warranty is not applicable in any of the following cases :

1. The warranty card is not completed properly at the time of purchase. 2. The completed warranty card is not presented to authorized service personnel at the time of service of the product. 3. The product is not operated according to instructions given in the Operating Instruction Booklet. 4. Defects are caused by improper or reckless use, which shall be determined by the company personnel. 5. Any repair work is carried out by persons other than authorized service personnel. 6. Defects are caused by due to causes beyond control like lightening, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to service center or purchaser's residence. 7. The warranty is not valid in case, the serial number is deleted, defected or altered. 8. Damage to the product or any part/s due to transportation or shifting is not covered by warranty. 9. a) This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period of 12 months, even if the Refrigerator may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason. b) The warranty on compressor will automatically terminate on expiry of 4 years (after 1 year warranty period) even if the Refrigerator may not be in use for any time during the said period for any reason. 10. Only courts in state of Delhi and places where LGEIL has its branch office shall have the jurisdiction for settling any claims, disputes arising under the warranty.
