Bakingsheetoraluminium foilontheovenfloor
Donotplacebakingsheetsontheovenfloor.Donotlinetheovenfloorwithaluminiumfoil.
This causes heat to accumulate. Baking and roasting times will no longer be correct and the enamel will be damaged.
Waterintheoven
Neverpourwaterdirectlyintoahotoven. This could damage the enamel.
Fruitjuice
When baking very moist fruit cakes, donot put too much on the bakingsheet. Fruit juiced dripping from the bakingsheet leaves stain that cannot be removed.
It is recommended that you use the deeper universal pan.
Coolingwiththeoven carriageopen
Onlyleavetheoventocoolwiththedoorclosed.Even ifyouonlyleavetheovencarriageopenslightly,the frontsofadjacentunitsmaybecomedamagedover time.
Verydirtyovenseal
If the ovensealis very dirty, the ovencarriagewill no longer close properly when the ovenisin use. The front sof adjacent units could bedamaged. Keep the ovenseal clean.

Whenyouswitchofftheoven,theresidualheatinthe ovenisindicatedinthepreheatingindicator. Whenallsegmentsarelit,thetemperatureintheoven isapproximately300°C.
The preheating indicator goes out when the temperature has fallen to approximately 60^ C.
Usingtheresidualheat
Youcankeepfoodwarmintheovenusingthe residualheat.
Formealswithlongcookingtimes,youmayswitchoff theoven5to10minutesearlier.Theresidualheatwill finishcookingthemeal,therebysavingenergy.

Automaticroasting

Ovenware
The automatic roasting function is only suitable for roasting in a covered dish. Only use a roasting dish with a suitable lid.

Adviceongrilling
Alwaysclosetheovendoorwhengrilling.
If possible, use pieces of meat which are of the same thickness. They should be least 2 to 3 cm thick. Such pieces will be browned evenly and stay juicy and soft in them middle. Only salt the steaks after they have been grilled.
