INSTRUCTIONS

If your heating pad has a removable / washable fabric cover: (if no cover, skip to step 4)

1. Lay the fabric cover on a flat surface with the printing face down.

2. Insert the pad into the cover completely. Make sure the cord and switch remain on the outside of the cover.

3. The pad will lie flat, filling the entire cover.

WARNING: NEVER USE THE HEATING PAD WITHOUT THE FABRIC COVER.

1. Plug into any 120 volt AC electrical outlet and turn the switch to the ON position.

2. Select desired heat and/or massage level. To turn OFF, scroll through the remaining heat and/or massage settings by pressing the buttons sequentially.

3. Wait for the pad to heat up.

4. Avoid sitting on or crushing pad. Avoid folding during use.

CONTROLLER FEATURES

AUTO-OFF FEATURE

If your controller includes the Auto-Off feature:

This feature is designed to conserve

energy by automatically turning off

after 2 hours* of continuous use.

NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off

feature automatically resets the timer.

*Some models may be 30 min or 1 hr

USING MOIST HEAT THERAPY - In some

cases, you may find that moist heat therapy provides more comfort and relief. When using

moist heat therapy, you should protect furniture and clothing from becoming damp. Dampen either side of the heating pad with water by patting the surface with a wet sponge or cloth or use a spray bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak pad. If your heating pad has a removable cover, only dampen the cover. If your heating pad comes with a sponge insert, dampen sponge and cover only.

DANGER: DO NOT IMMERSE PAD IN WATER OR PLACE UNDER RUNNING WATER TO DAMPEN SURFACE. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY. NOTICE: If your heating pad has a massage feature – Do not use moist heat therapy to prevent damage to the massagers.

RESET INSTRUCTIONS

If your heating pad unexpectedly shuts off (not including Auto-Off), follow these steps:

1. Unplug the unit.

2. Wait 3 minute.

3. Plug unit in and operate normally.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT BLEACH! DO NOT USE WRINGER!

If your heating pad comes with a removable outer cover, follow instructions for WASHABLE FABRIC COVER. If your heating pad has a controller that disconnects from the heating pad as shown in Figure 1, follow instructions for WASHABLE HEATING PAD.

WASHABLE FABRIC COVER

1. Disconnect pad from outlet.

2. Remove cover from pad.

3. Machine wash only the cover in cool water on gentle cycle, or hand wash. Use mild detergent.

4. Hang to dry or machine dry on gentle, cool cycle.

5. Do not wash heating pad. Wipe heating pad with a damp cloth only, as needed. Do not dampen the cord and connector. Hang to dry.

WASHABLE HEATING PAD

1. Disconnect cord from pad by squeezing the locking clips on connector with hand and pulling firmly with the other hand. DO NOT PULL BY THE CORD. (See Figure 1)

2. Machine wash pad in cold water on gentle cycle or hand wash; tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Remove promptly from dryer.

3. DO NOT plug in pad and pad connector until they are completely dry.

INSTRUCCIONES

Si su almohadilla de calor tiene una cubierta de tela extraíble/lavable (si no tiene una cubierta de tela extraíble/lavable, salte a paso número 4):

1. Coloque la cubierta de tela sobre una superficie plana con la cara estampada hacia abajo.

2. Inserte completamente la almohadilla adentro de la cubierta.

3. La almohadilla descansará plana, llenando toda la cubierta.

ADVERTENCIA: NUNCA UTILICE LA ALMOHADILLA DE CALOR SIN LA CUBIERTA DE TELA.

1. Enchufe a cualquier tomacorriente de 120 voltios, corriente alterna (ca) y gire el interruptor a la posición de "encendido"(ON).

FUNCIÓN DE APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO

Si su control incluye la función de apagado automático:

Esta función está diseñada para conservar energía, apagando automáticamente la unidad después de 2 horas* de uso continuo.

NOTA: Después de ocurrir una interrupción de energía, la función de apagado automático reinicia automáticamente el cronómetro.

*Algunos modelos pueden tomar 30 minutos o 1 hora. USO DE TERAPIA DE CALOR HÚMEDO - En

algunos casos, podría resultar que la terapia de calor húmedo le brinde más comodidad y alivio. Cuando use terapia de calor húmedo, debe proteger los muebles y la ropa para que no se humedezcan. Humedezca con agua cualquier lado de la almohadilla dándole golpecitos con una esponja húmeda o un paño, o utilice una botella con atomizador para aplicar un rocio fino. No moje completamente la almohadilla. Si su almohadilla de calor tiene una cubierta extraible, solo humedezca la cubierta. Si su almohadilla de calor incluye una inserción de esponia, solo humedezca la esponia.

PELIGRO: NO SUMERJA LA ALMOHADILLA EN AGUA NI LA COLOQUE DEBAJO AGUA CORRIENTE PARA HUMEDECER LA SUPERFICIE. EL NO CUMPLIR CON ESTA MEDIDA, PUEDE RESULTAR EN UNA LESIÓN PERSONAL.

AVISO: Si su almohadilla de calor tiene una función para masajes

- No utilice la función de terapia de calor húmedo para prevenir el ocasionar un daño a los dispositivos de masaje.

INSTRUCCIONES DE REINICIO

Si su almohadilla de calor se apaga inesperadamente (no

incluyendo la función de apagado automático), siga estos pasos:

1. Desenchufe la unidad

2. Espere 3 minuto.

3. Enchufe la unidad y use normalmente

Si su almohadilla de calor incluye una cubierta exterior extraíble, siga las instrucciones bajo la sección CUBIERTA DE TELA LAVABLE.

Si su almohadilla de calor tiene un control que se desconecta desde la almohadilla de calor como es mostrado en la Figura 1, siga las instrucciones bajo la sección ALMOHADILLA DE CALOR LAVABLE.

1. Desconecte la almohadilla del tomacorriente.

2. Retire la cubierta de la almohadilla.

3. Solo lave la cubierta en la máquina lavadora con agua fría en el ciclo suave o lávela a mano.

4. Cuelgue para secar o seque en la máquina secadora en el ciclo frío y suave.

5. No lave la almohadilla de calor. Limpie la almohadilla de calor con un paño húmedo, según sea necesario. No humedezca el cable ni el control. Cuelgue para secar.

1. Desconecte el cordón del cojin apretando con una mano los clips de fijación en el conectador y tirando firmemente con la otra mano. NO TIRE DE LA CUERDA. (Vea la Figura 1)

2. Lave a maquina el cojin en agua fría en el ciclo suave; seque a maquina en calor bajo. Quitelo prontamente de la secadora o lave a mano en agua fría y sequelo.

3. NO enchufe el cojin hasta que este totalmente seco.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
