Hints for handling

Treat your headphones with care in order to have a long-term hearing experience without any obstacles. Keep the product away from any humidity. Don't use the headphones in humid environment. Humidity may lead to short circuits. For this reason your health may be in danger and the product may be damaged. Never open the casing of the headphones. As well as improper use this will lead to a cease of your warranty.

Never wash or clean the ear pads or head pad with water. You may clean these parts with a dry soft cloth or with a minimum of humidity in the soft cloth if necessary. No solvent, including cleaning agent is to be used at all. Avoid any contact with water on plugs and jacks. The product is improper for children under 3 years. There is a danger of swallowing bits and pieces.

You may use your headphones with any device with an ordinary exit for headphones (3,5 and 6,3 mm jack connector). Choose the right type of connection for your headphones in relation to your sound source. Normally a 6,3 mm jack adapter is to be used for the connection to an ordinary stereo system and a 3,5 mm jack connector for the connection to, for example, a MP3-player. The fitting jack connector has to be pushed slowly until the last stop into the fitting jack of the device. The adapter (if included with your pair of headphones) is not to be alienated.

For your own safety, please pay attention that the volume regulation of your device is set low. Regulate the volume you desire by the time you have put on the headphones. After having tuned the volume desired you may do the exact tuning of the headphones. By adjusting it, you will achieve the ideal sound experience. Despite the fact of safer hearing with Ultrasone headphones, exaggerated volume may damage your ear. Please make sure to wear your headphones the right way round. Since both earcapsules have got asymmetric design due to the decentralised driver positioning, you may achieve the complete sound experience only in the appropriate position. Wearing the frame of your headphones on the top of your head you will achieve the unique S-Logic™ Natural Surround Sound. The headband is adjustable in height in raster steps. In order to accommodate the headphones you may elongate or shorten the headband until it fits perfectly on your head and ears.

If, despite any expectation, problems arise, please refer to your authorised dealer. In case of difficulties with your dealer, you may send them directly to ULTRASONE AG, Bernriederstr. 17b, 82327 Tutzing, Germany. A possible warranty may be claimed in all countries outside the USA, where legal provisions do not stand in the way of guaranteeing. Please note that possible warranty claims towards ULTRASONE AG are void in case of operating errors, improper operation, electric or mechanical damage, as well as in the case of improper repairs of unauthorised workshops. Excluded from possible warranty claims are parts that are subject to natural wear and tear during usage such as ear pads for instance.
