Before using your new AA/ AAA/ C/ D/ 9V universal battery charger, read carefully this User's manual.

Important

• Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. May cause malfunction or shock hazard.
• Do not drop or hit the equipment, may cause damages.
• It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature after fully charged.
• Never use an extension cord, otherwise may lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting cleaning or when not is in use.
• Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
• If power card is broken, contact your nearest dealer for replacement.

Highlights

The universal NiCd and NiMH battery charger, can charge batteries from one to 4 simultaneously. Cylindrical receptacles includes configurable system to charge AA, AAA, C and batteries, plus 9V.

Charging indicator lights in red and it can be plugged to an outlet using their universal interlock.

Operation

1. Place 1 to 4 batteries in the charging channel(s) or 1 or 2 9V batteries. Take care of batteries's polarity.

1. Plug the charger into an AC household outlet.

Input

1. The LED indicator will light up in red when charging is in progress.
2. Unplug the charger from the AC outlet and remove the batteries when they are fully charged.

Please, refer to the charging time table to ensure the batteries are fully charged.

Do not mix batteries or different sizes or capacities in the same slot.

The LED light only turns off when release the batteries from the compartment or when unplug the charger from the AC outlet. Remember, they won't turn off when batteries are fully charged.

WARRANTY

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.

CONDITIONS

1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge. 3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:

If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment. b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.

Antes de usar su nuevo Cargador de baterías, lea este instructivo.

Importante

• No use ni almacene este equipo en lugares donde existan goteras o salpicaduras de agua. Puede causar un mal funcionamiento o un choque eléctrico.
• No lo golpee ni lo deje caer, puede causarle daños.
• Es normal que las baterías se calienten durante el proceso de carga, y se enfrien rápidamente
  a temperatura ambiente, una vez cargadas completamente.
• No utilizar ninguna extensión ya que puede causar un incendio, electrocución o daños personales.
• Desconecte el cargador antes de limpiar o cuando no vaya a ser utilizado.
• Siempre utilice un paño suave y seco para limpiar el equipo.
  Si el cable de corriente está dañado, acuda con un distribuidor para su reemplazo.

Características

El cargador universal de baterías de níquel cadmio y níquel metal, carga las baterías de forma independiente de 1 a 4 de forma simultánea, los receptáculos para las baterías cilíndricas tienen un sistema de ajuste que permite cargar baterías tipo AA, AAA, C y D, además de dos broches para baterías de 9V.

Los LEDs indicadores de carga encienden en color rojo, se conecta a la corriente por medio de un interlock universal.

Operación

1. Coloque de 1 a 4 baterías de NiMH o de NiCd en los contactos correspondientes o 1 ó 2 baterías de 9V. Es importante tener cuidado con la polaridad de las baterías.

Entrada de alimentación

1. El indicador LED se encenderá en rojo indicando que las baterías están en proceso de carga.
2. Una vez completada la carga de las baterías, desenchufe el cargador de la toma de corriente y remueva las baterías.

Para conocer el tiempo de carga de las baterías, consulte la tabla.

No mezcle baterías de diferentes medidas o capacidades en el mismo compartimiento de carga.

El LED indicador de cada una de las baterías sólo se apagará cuando desconecte el equipo del tomacorriente o cuando retire las baterías del compartimiento. Recuerde, los LEDs no se apagan cuando la batería está completamente cargada.

Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.

CONDICIONES

1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.

2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor. 3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días,contados a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantia. 4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormwente.

ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:

1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso. 3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.

El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
