WHEN USING THIS APPLIANCE, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING

- This product is not intended for medical use. - Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons. - Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by HoMedics, specifically any attachments not provided with the unit.

- Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be dropped into a tub or sink.

- Do not place of drop into water or any other liquid.

- Not for use by children. - Turn off appliance when not in use

- Never operate this appliance if it has been damaged or if it is not working properly. Return it to the HoMedics

service center for examination and repair.

- Keep away from heated surfaces.

CAUTION: PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING.

- If you have concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product. - Those with the following conditions should consult their doctor before using this product:

• Pregnancy • Malignant tumor

• Diabetes • Conditions requiring rest

• Heart disease • Pacemak

- If at any time soreness, rash, or pain occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.

- NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas, skin eruptions, or an open wound. - A massage session longer than 20 minutes is not recommended.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Remove the battery cover by turning counter-clockwise. Insert 2 "AA" batteries (not included) into the chamber (Fig. 1). Replace the cover by turning clockwise.
• To fill the foot roller, open the chamber and fill with either hot or cold water (Fig. 2). If desired, ice can be added with cold water to make the unit cooler. DO NOT fill with hot water over 110^ F.
• Press the power button once to activate the massager.
  • Roll your foot over the massager.
• After completing your massage, press the power button again to turn the massager off. Empty the water from the chamber and dry completely.

TO CLEAN

Clean only with a soft fabric cloth. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with this unit.

• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.

- Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish, or paint thinner to clean.

- Attention California Residents: WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

• Use only the size and type of batteries specified

- When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of batteries may cause damage to the unit

- Do not mix old and new batteries

- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.

- Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

- If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.

- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation

- Remove depleted batteries promptly

- Dispose of properly in accordance with all state, province, and country regulations.

This product contains small parts that may present a choking hazard for young children

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

• Retire la cubierta de las baterías girando en sentido antihorario. Coloque 2 baterías "AA" (no incluidas) en la cámara (Fig. 1). Vuelva a colocar la cubierta girándola en sentido horario.
• Para llenar el rodillo, abra la cámara y rellene con agua caliente o fría (Fig. 2). Si lo desea, puede agregar hielo con agua fría para que la unidad esté más fría. NO llene con agua caliente por encima de los 110° F.
• Oprima el botón de encendido una vez para activar el masajeador.
  • Haga rodar su pie por encima del masajeador.
• Luego de terminar el masaje, presione el botón de encendido de nuevo para apagar el masajeador. Vacíe el agua de la cámara y secar por completo.

LIMPIEZA

Limpie únicamente con un paño suave. Nunca permita que esta unidad entre en contacto con agua u otros líquidos.
- No sumerja la unidad en ningún líquido para limpiarla.
- Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén, limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles ni diluyente de pintura para limpiar.
