Description
The SRT sensor probe is used to monitor temperature in critical environments.
NOTE: The SRT sensor and cable assembly can span a total cable distance up to 600 ft from the Geist environmental monitoring device.
NOTE: Three sensor sizes are available. The standard temperature probe measures 1.25 inches (3.18 cm) in length. The 4-inch (10.16 cm) and 10-inch (25.4 cm) probe options are available for customers wanting to submerge these probes in water or glycol for liquid temperature monitoring.
Installation
- Mount the temperature sensor anywhere in the data center with zip ties or Velcro tape.
- Plug the uplink cable into the sensor port (RJ12/ of the Geist environmental monitoring device or rack PDU.
Once connected, the Geist environmental monitoring device automatically detects and identifies the sensor.
