INTRODUCTION

With a proven, sealed drug system and the benefits of a large arbor reel, the Hydros reel offers maximum line pick up, optimum drag consistency, and superior fish-stepping power.

DRAG OPERATION

Hydrus rack features a dependable center line drug system. To adjust the drug, turn the knob (figure 1) clockwise to increase resistance, and counterclock wise to decrease it. The minimum drug setting should never be less than the pressure required to prevent over-running of the line or fast runs. Additional shall may be applied by palrading the good rim with your fingers or palms. The easy drug adjustment is infinitely variable, providing wide ranging and controllable settings.

SPOOL REMOVAL

The spoil release is located in the middle of the reel spoil. To remove, depress the spoil release latch while simultaneously lifting the spoil out of the reel body.

RIGHT-HAND CONVERSION

All Hydrox reels have the drag factory installed for left-hand wind (Figure 2). To change your reel to right-hand wind, until the one way returns (part #20) by squeezing the retaining age. Remove one-way bearing (part #21) and flip over. Replace clutch returner.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Your new Hydras reel has been properly lubricated (just is skipping. However, it should be clearance and lubricated after excessive use or after counter with ear or sand. Your reel should receive routine cleaning and maintenance at last twice each year. Lightly lubricate all moving components—handle center spindle, and gear shaft with Perm red labe, which is available at tackle shops. Do not put the red away wet, or into a wet red case or tackle box. For extended storage, extensive rack line and backing and known the drug.

If the rest is in any way defective in materials or workmanship, your £7.95 repair cheque will be returned to you at once. Your rest will be completely serviced (cleaned, labor and, and returned to your postpaid for a fee of £1.95, plus cost of parts. Damaged reels can be repaired on an individual basis, and repair work will be billed at the hourly shop rate, plus parts. We will provide a written estimate upon receipt of the rest prior to any work being done.
