Whatisinductioncooking?

Induction cooking constitutes radical change in the traditional form of heating, given that the heatis generated directly in the pan, keeping the cooking surface cold. Therefore, it has a number of advantages over other cooking methods:

•Greaterspeedincookingandfrying:

Asthepanisheateddirectlyandnottheglass,the efficiencyisgreaterthaninothersystemsbecauseno heatislost.

•Economical:

Ithasbeenproventhatcookingwithaninductionis moreeconomicalthantheothercookingmethods.

Normaloperatingnoisesforthe appliance

Inductionheatingtechnologyisbasedonthevibration resistanceofcertainmetalswhensubjectedto high-frequencywaves.Insomecircumstances,these vibrationscancauseacertaindegreeofnoise,suchas thefollowing:

- Lowhumminglikeatransformer:

This occurs when cooking at a high power. The cause of this is the amount of energy which is transmitted from the hob to the cook ware. This noise disappears or becomes quieter when the power is turned down.

- Quietwhistling:

This occurs when the cookware is empty. This noise disappears when water or food is added to the cookware.

- Crackling:

•Fannoise:

The electronics require a controlled temperature in ordertofunction reliably. The hobist therefore fitted with a fan which runs at various speeds according to the temperature detected. The fan may also run on oncethehobhas been switched off the temperature it detects is still too high.
