Function Introduction
Display:
- When power-off, nothing is shown on the display.
- When power-on, the rice cooker is in standby mode, and the "Start" indicator flashes, the display "▲" pointing to the function of "Refined Cook".

Menu key:
● After power-on, press the "Menu" key to select various functions.
● "▲" points to a corresponding function, and the function cycling selection is in the floowing order:

Start key:
- When power is supplied and a certain function selected, press the "Start" key, and the "Start" indicator lights up, entering the working process of this function.
Timer "+" "-" keys:
- When performing refined cook, quick cook, congee, porridge/soup, you can select the timing function. Timing function is used for presetting end time. - After selection of the timing function through the "Timer" key, by pressing the "+" or "-" key, adjust end time. Each press of the key may, increase or decrease an hour. For example, if porridge/Soup cooking is set to 2h, each press of "+" increases by 60min and each press of "-" decreases by 60min.
Warm key:
● After cooking, the rice cooker goes into the warm-keeping state automatically. After congee and porridge/soup, the warm-keeping state will be not entered. When the "Warm" indicator flickers, it indicates that the function has completed, and the food is edible. The shown time means elapsed time.
Off key:
- In any work mode, you can have the rice cooker stop its current operation and return to the standby mode by using the "OFF" key.
Preparation
- Weigh out required rice (A measuring cup of rice is about 150g);
- Wash rice in another container and make sure to wash it clean. - It is best not to wash rice directly inside the pot in order to avoid scuffing the inner pot.

● Never have water to exceed the highest water level.

- Wipe up the external surface of inner pot with dry cloth, putting it into the electric rice cooker. Then press down the cover of electric rice cooker until a sound of "click" is heard.
- Never heat the inner pot on other stoves to avoid deformation caused by high temperatures; it is not allowed to use any other container, instead of the inner pot, on the electric hot tray. - To steam food over water, add appropriate amount of water to prevent water from surpassing the food steamer in boiling.

Note: differences among the two cooking modes
- Refined cooking: this function is suitable for cooking rice of any quantity.
- Quick cooking: this function is suitable for little and medium rice quantity.

- Press the "Start" key to enter the working process of a corresponding function. The "Start" indicator lights up, and "-" appears on the display.
●Entering state of stewing rice. The display shows remaining stewing time in countdown.
●Only refined cooking and quick cooking are equipped with stewing process. According to the judgment of rice and water quantity by the computer program during cooking, the stewing time is automatically set to 5min or 10min.

- After cooking, the unit enters the warm-keeping state automatically.
●To prevent the rice from agglomerating and reducing its taste, it is best to loosen the rice within 30 minutes.

After the use, press the "Off" key to enter state of standby, and then cut off the power.
-
When filling a bowl with rice, the attached spoon, not a metal spoon, should be used to avoid scuffing inner pot.
●To stop warm keeping, press the "Off" key to enter state of standby, and then cut off the power.
Periods of cooking rice for various functions (only for reference):

The cooking time in the above table may vary with different voltage, water quantity, rice quantity, water temperature and rice quality.
congee, Porridge/Soup
- Boiled rice grains are in the form of complete bursting, with unidentifiable shapes. After being stirred, rice water is stronger ivory white.
- For boiled congee, rice grains are in the complete shape of rice. After being stirred with a ladle, rice and rice water are light ivory white.
- When making congee or porridge/soup, never have the total amount of rice and water to exceed the maximum water mark.

- Press the "Start" key, and the "Start" indicator lights up, entering the working state of "Porridge/Soup", with"---" appearing on the display.

Note: after porridge/soup, the "Warm-keeping" indicator flashes, indicating that the unit is not in warm-keeping state and the rice should be served as soon as possible to prevent it form agglomeration.
- After power supply is connected, press the "Menu" key to select the "congee" or "Porridge/Soup" function, and press the "Start" key to enter the working process of congee or porridge/soup.

For example: making porridge
- Put the cleaned rice into the inner pot.
- Fill it with water to a corresponding water level.
- Press the "Menu" key to select the function of "Porridge/Soup".

Note:
The working time of porridge/soup function is 2h. The working time of congee function is between 40min -1h.
- After Porridge/Soup, stir with a rice ladle evenly.

- After crispy rice, the unit enters the warm-keeping mode, process automatically.
Reheat

Put cold rice in the inner pot and loosen it.

After power supply is connected, press the "Menu" key to select the "Reheat" function Press the "Start" key to enter the "Reheat" process, and the "Start" indicator lights up, with "--" appearing on the display.

● It is recommended to spray some water over the rice before heating to stop it from becoming too dry.
● Make sure the rice is loose. If it is in agglomerating state, heating may cause the rice to become burnt or much drier.
● After the heating, loosen the rice again, making it hard for the rice to agglomerate.
● Repeated use of "Reheat" function or too little rice may cause the rice to become burnt or sticky to the bottom of the cooker.
- When the rice is too much, it cannot be heated completely.
For the rice quantity of cold rice heating function, refer to the standard in the table below:

Warm-keeping
- Make appropriate preparation.
- After power supply is connected, press the "Warm" key, the "Warm" indicator lights up, and then the unit enters the state of warm keeping.

- The time of warm-keeping is shown in hour. (Shown clockwise) 0 1 2 - 23 h. In case the time exceeds 24h, "--" is shown on the display.

Timer
For refined cooking, quick cooking, congee, and porridge/soup, timing setting can be made to preset the end time of cooking. The period of timing falls in 24h.
For example: to have rice cooked well in 3h (quick rice cooking)
- Make appropriate preparation.

- Press the "Timer" key to enter the setting state of timing.
- The "Start" and "Timer" indicators flash. - The display shows the end time.

● Before entering the working process, the display will show remaining time of cooking finish in the manner of countdown.

- By pressing the "+" or "-" key, set the end time as 3h (each press increases by 60min).

Washing Method
Take the inner pot and food steamer out of the electric rice cooker, wash it with household liquefied detergent and rinse with fresh water and then wipe it dry with soft cloth.
* Never use a metal brush or other harsh tools to wash the inner pot in order to avoid damage to the non-sticking coating.
Take out the water case, pour out the rice water, and replace it after cleaning.
The grains of cooked rice or other sundries may stick to the electric hot tray. Fine sand paper can be used for grinding them off and wipe it cleanly with soft cloth for the full contact to the inner pot and electric hot tray.

Safety Notice
The earthed wall socket should be used and the plug must be inserted fixedly. Never use a multipurpose socket or use other electric appliances at the same time.
2 When not in use, please pull the power cord out of the socket.
3 Insert the power cord into the socket thoroughly; otherwise the elements may be burnt out by poor connection.
4 The electric rice cooker cannot be placed in a place that is unstable, wet or near fire or heat sources; otherwise it will be damaged.
5 When cooking, the steam port is extremely hot and do not have your face or hands close to it to avoid scald.
6 When the cooker is operating, do not open the cover to prevent accumulated water from entering the cooker body.
7 It is strictly prohibited to wash the body and cover of electric rice cooker with water or immerse them in water to avoid danger caused by the damaged insulating property of the electric appliance.
8 If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a special power cord produced by the manufacturer.
9 Do not let a child operate the product alone. Put it beyond the reach of babies to avoid electric shock, scald and other dangerous accidents.
