New particles coming from the outdoor by ventilation etc. are not calculated.

*1 Test method: Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association voluntary standard (HD-128)

Criteria: The time to remove 99 % of the particles having a size of 0.1 to 2.5 μm in a closed space of 32 m ^3 is within 90 minutes. (It is a value converted for the test space of 32 m ^3 .)

• PM2.5 is a generic term for fine particulate matters having a size of 2.5 µm or less.
• It has not been confirmed that this product removes fine particulate matter of less than 0.1 m . In addition, it is not mentioned that this product removes all of the harmful substances in the air.
• The result is of a test in closed space of 32 minstead of in actual application space.

Test Method: Operate at "Clean air" mode for 24 hours in the test chamber of 23m^3 . 5 cigarettes have been smoked.

The values have been compared between:

[ECONAVI] consuming about 67 Wh.

These values are a guide only, the effect is different depending on the installation environment and the usage.

The deodorizing effect differs according to the surrounding environment (temperature / humidity), operation time, or type of odor / textile.

■Do not put the product in the following places:

- Where the product will be exposed to direct sunlight or direct blowing/heat of air conditioner. (Otherwise, deformation, deterioration, discoloration or malfunction may be caused.)

● Where the wind from air outlet is directly applied to furniture or wall. (Stains may be caused.)

● Near a TV set or radio. (Otherwise, distortion or noises may be caused.)

→Keep 1 m or more away from such devices. If the power plug is inserted into the same outlet as that of these devices, distortion or noises may be caused. In this case, insert the power plug into another outlet.

■Place it low on the floor as a countermeasure against pollen.

Since pollen and dusts are likely to float in the air near the floor, we recommend you to put the product on the flat floor in the room.

■To circulate the air efficiently in the room.

To prevent the air inlet or the air outlet from being blocked, install the product with its right, left and the top about 30 cm or more away from walls or furniture, curtains etc. To ensure efficient use of the product, keep its back at least 1 cm away from the wall.

■Humidity indicator

● The sign indicates the status of ambient humidity. [Lo] (red):

indicates the ambient humidity is low (about 40% or less).

[Med] (green):

indicates the ambient humidity is moderate (about 40% to 60%).

[Hi] (red):

indicates the ambient humidity is high (about 60% or more).

■Clean sign

- When using chemically treated cloth, follow its instructions.

Suck the front side with vacuum cleaner etc.

(Installation and removal instructions → P.10) To remove dust accumulated on the filter area, suck with vacuum cleaner etc.

Lay the filter on newspaper etc.

- Do not apply excessive force because it is easy to be damaged. (Pay close attention when cleaning the back side because it is breakable.)

- Do not wash with water.

Attention

- Do not operate without the 2 in 1 HEPA composite and deodorizing filter. (It may make it impossible to obtain the effect to clean air, or may cause failure due to dusts entering the product.)

Safely keep the parts removed from the product when cleaning. (Otherwise you may trip over them. Or the parts may be damaged.)

It is the automatic operation by combining the “patrol mode” in which the product checks the dirt in the air in the room every hour, with the “learning mode” in which the product can forecast the dirt generation by mastering the generation time of dirt every day.

It saves power by stopping operation automatically when the air is clean. Meanwhile, the product will operate in advance to eliminate the dirt effectively before spreading, thus reducing the operation time.

Patrol mode

The product will stop operating automatically after the air is cleaned. After the operation is paused for 50 minutes, the product will operate for 10 minutes in the patrol mode. (Air volume is controlled between [Lo] and [Hi].)

● While the operation is paused and in the patrol mode, if the dirt is detected, the product will operate with the air volume corresponding to the level of dirtiness.

The air is cold during humidifying?

A

During “Humidifying clean air” operation, the air coming from the product will be colder than the room temperature, since the moisture from the wet humidifying filter absorbs the heat in the air.

There is no steam during humidifying?

A

This product generates moisture by blowing the humidifying filter containing water, not by boiling the water, and hence does not generate the steam.

The humidifying amount is reduced?

A

In rainy season with high humidity or in cold weather, the humidifying amount decreases as you can see, for example, the washed clothes are difficult to dry. The humidifying amount changes depending on the room temperature and humidity, and increases when the weather is warm and dry.

Troubleshooting

If a problem has occurred, investigate it by referring first to the table below. If the problem still persists, please disconnect the power plug and contact the dealer for a check or repair.

9 There is condensation inside the tray.	●Immediately after the product stops operation or when the room is cold, there may be condensation. This is normal.
